Tyranny of Dragons is a good one for medieval style if you're thinking about a prewritten campaign. I have quite a few different characters that I would like to play in a medieval type of setting.
Hold back the dead is meant to be a 4 module one-shot that would normally take 4 hours to play, so for PBP that would probably give us a couple months of play, depending on fast the players respond,
We are looking for a total of six characters. Posting is now thru Fri, Feb 14.
Expectations: Slow and steady. Post every day or every-other day. (Note: You can post more often but i've found if we take one scene each day, its a pretty good pace and its predictable.) If it bogs down, I'll get the railroad out and move us along in the story.
Here's what I'm looking for from potential players:
Character Name
Species
Class
Subclass
Background
Here's the character criteria:
Level 4
One-Shot (but if it's fun for the DM (me) and the players, we may continue on another adventure
Yes, I will be providing my 'vast' character library once selected
Stats: Roll (reroll 1's once), Point-Buy, and Standard Array
Equipment:
Standard Equipment (Only what you can carry)
ONE Very Rare magic item to be discussed with the DM
The problem with having a long life is what to do with it. I have tried almost all of the paths my family has taken and going against my solitary lifestyle I have chosen to adventure. It is the rush of the battle that makes my blood sing.
You said 2014 character option are ok, does that mean I can choose to be a 2014 cleric instead of 2024? The options just work into my backstory better.
Catastrophe is a sci-fi type campaign in which you learned exactly a decade ago about the war of Tiamblo in which Crothains and Valcanaes fought for order and chaos. They fought until the Crothains who called themselves Order won allowing there to be law and order.
It is a decade after you learned about this war that is now 110 years old. You now take the world’s order for granted and get to go on a colony mission to Mars. Now as you’re returning you go through a wormhole without realizing. When you land on Earth, your speculations go to the war of Tiamblo!
Im open for a dnd campaign if anyone has any ideas or would like to play a role in it.
I would love to play in a campaign. Currently settled in the role of forever DM and would like to be on the other side of the table for once.
medieval kind of campaign would you enjoy doing? I was thinking a medival style?

This would be my first time Dming unless we do a dmless campaign.
We could do the new free one that just came out - https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/hbtd/hold-back-the-dead
six level 4 characters
D&D since 1984
Im not to good at dming but that sounds like a good idea, if we could round up enough players we could do it.
Would everyone be interested in playing if I DM'd it?
I've DM'd before and once briefly for PBP. I've thought about it and I've played a few PBP games so its time I step up and DM one.
D&D since 1984

I am interested. It would give me a break from being a DM.
Out of my mind, be back shortly.
