This Saga covers the travels of the Deck Wizard Faldeyr and his journey to the port of call of the great ship Cerulean Tide.
We begin with a flashback, of when you first signed on to join the crew of the Cerulean Tide. It was in a portside town called Greenwharf. You weren't born here, but visit often to sell your services as a magic user—plenty of work for an enterprising adventurer. As it happens, during your winding down time at the Wooden Anchor inn an exquisite man dressed in the outfit of a Nautilus Message Runner came in to deliver a message to the patrons and set up a poster on the wall. The man called for brave souls to join aboard a ship, and seek glory and adventure. Many a customer laughed and turned back to their friends and drink. You however found this endeavor quite interesting. Sipping the dregs of your ale you decide what to do next
(Too fast!) As you walk toward the docks, you realize you’ve forgotten to leave a tip at the inn. It’s still in sight range but it is getting cold out. You are staying at the inn and forgetting a tip might mean a downturn in service. Do you… a. Keep walking
Through the fuzziness of drink, you seem to remember the docks being West. Walking forward to Skibidious Street (not mine, pascual suggested), you manage to quash the feeling of indigestion. When you reach the docks, it is still busy as the night shift of ships coming in has just arrived. Dock Q3 has the familiar banner of the Order of Nautilus, but there is no ship, just a congregation of Message Runners.
You sense something above you and look up, tilting your body slightly. A bird drops a load on the ground where you were standing. As you move towards the docks, you notice a ship pull into Dock Q3. It's a keelboat, like a noble would have as a pleasure boat. When you arrive, the crew is unloading barrels marked "Behir's Blood" which you suppose is some sort of hard liquor. The messenger who was in the Inn looks up from logging the cargo at a stand.
" Ah, hello there. I remember you from that quaint tavern. Where you interested in the offer?"
(One at a time!) The Order? You haven’t heard of the order of nautilus? Well, I can tell you it was founded on the Nautilus archipelago. They govern the islands and are a sort of religious seafaring guild, merchants, navy, and government all in one. I myself am a Message runner. I wasn’t born on the islands but was converted to their faith by another Message Runner.
new question options
. where is the nautilus archipelago? .do I have to be part of the faith?
Ah well, the Arch Ministers of the Order have decided that like the sea and its travelers, our faith should accept and recognize other faiths. As a sailor in the Nautilus Navy, you will be given a basic rank in the faith and some religious items if you decide you want them. The Quartermaster based here can also acquire religious items from other faiths if necessary.
Your official uniform cannot be handed to you yet because you haven’t reached The ship yet and it hasn’t begun its voyage, however as we’ve been talking our spellcasting quartermaster over there has transferred all of your new equipment into your bag and pouches

I rip off the poster and leave the tavern. As I leave the tavern I begin to walk toward the docks to find the captain in charge of this poster.
