Well Leb rolled twice, we could use it as disadvantaged roll, fortunately she passed both... in your face bully paladin!! XD
The elf tries to avoid beign chained but Hawthorne is too strong. Once they drag her and the others to the gallows and she hears them talk she starts to panick. As they are dragged again she says to the others.
” We have to get free. I don’t know what’s going on but they are going to kill us! We cannot go into that temple..” she starts to gather energy inside her. The fear, the confusion, and all the years of frustration and imprisionment begin to break inside her like a damn that had tried to contain too much water.
If anyone tries to attack them she will try to cast Sleet Storm. She will ready the action until that moment.
Lyra decides not to resist, quite confused by the shepherds behaviour. Since the 3 detainees are still being swarmed by other fleeing shepherds, she also decides not to rely on destructive spells. She instead tries to inconspicuously glare at the other two inmates, the elf and the gnome. Lyra raises a finger and points it at the elf, hoping the tiny gesture wont catch anyoneys eye in the chaos.
Message (calling low) 9 (EDIT: called low and got a 9, so will continue with the success)
Lyra feels her magic ripple through the manacle somehow and manages to whisper into the elfs ear.
"Hey! Elf! It's me, the human over here! Please listen to me for a second. These guys got something weird going on. I believe it is best to follow them to a place more secluded and try to overbear them there. We've got too many shepherds running around to attempt something here. I will try notifying the gnome as well, but it might not work with these godforsaken handcuffs. If you understand, nod twice!"
Lyra watches for any reaction for a brief second before she turns to the gnome and repeats the procedure.
Message (calling high this time) 85 (EDIT 2: called high and got 85, amazing!)
Once again Lyra appears to be lucky and manages to channel the message through the manacles blockade.
"Hey gnome! Listen to me, im the human being dragged with you! I just told the elf the same, these shepherds here are up to something. It surely isn't anything good, but theres too many others running around to try breaking free on the spot. Let's go with them until we reach some place more hidden, then we'll try and escape with all the force nessecary. If you understand, give me two nods."
Again, she waits to see if the gnome has gotten the message.
Haldur's eyes widened in considerable shock as the bloody spectacle greeted his and Hrain's arrival to what appeared to be the epicenter of the pandemonium. The young mercenary gripped his halberd in both hands so tightly that his knuckles stood out white against his sun-tanned flesh, and he gritted his teeth in a soundless, primal response to the carnage. At the sound of the enraged sorcerer, the warrior shot a quick glance at his comrade to gauge his intentions. Naturally, the Shepherd maintained his composure in the face of the threat and he began to move toward the wailing woman. That advance was all the prompting that Haldur needed. The mercenary also moved to advance into the woman's proximity, determination and resolve blazoned across his features. The morning sunlight glinted off the dangerously honed edge of his poleaxe, and his arms were preparing the weapon even as his feet carried him forward. If only he could close the distance...

OOC: Issues with this, you can not edit a post with calls for high/low. Although I hope you would be truthful about your calls versus rolls in future but the RAW reasons I will not accept this post is that message The spell is V S M meaning the physical requirements you must meet in order to cast it. Each spell’s description indicates whether it requires verbal (V), somatic (S), or material (M) Message (A short piece of copper wire) you have to point at the creature you're intending to speak too as well as have the copper wire component.
Fran, Saute, and Vyriox I will wait for a discussion of what's happening.
OOC: Yeah i already thought about the fact that editing might turn into a problem, but since you didn't say anthing about the first two cantrips that were rolled like that, i thought we could keep going with everyone being honest. No problem to just do another post tho! The online character sheet made me completely forget about the components, need to apologize for that. Sad thing since it was a great opportunity, but ill write out the post now, Folzi and Lebensha already had something in mind before anyway. Sorry again, please just treat it like the last post never happened!
Lyra decides not to resist, quite confused by the shepherds behaviour. While she does not like the situation at all, being brought away and out of reach for the shenanigans happening in the camp might turn out beneficial. Since the 3 detainees are still being swarmed by other fleeing shepherds, she also decides not to rely on magic just yet. She instead tries to inconspicuously glare at the other two inmates, the elf and the gnome, while making movements with her hands trying to symbolize calming down, while she repeatedly nods her head to the direction the shepherds are trying to manouver them to. The elf begins to speak, fortifying her concerns that the others might try something improvident. Lyra will wait until a particular chaotic moment will give her the chance to slip a word to the others without being noticed by the shepherds, if something like that will occur. Even if not,, she will answer, "Wait! Look around, if we do something now, the other shepherds will notice for sure!" She highlights the words now, again cocking her head towards where the troupe is headed.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Hrain closes the distance to the sorceress with a grim look on his face, the manacles may have prevented the magic but may not a second time so his resolve hardens as his blade whistles clear of it's sheath.
Reluctant to try and kill he attempts to bludgeon the woman with the pommel of the blade hoping to pacify her without killing her.
"Halberd, flank her, and watch your back others could try something too".
Second attack lands (d100s matching scale to be knocked out) 6596 but does not knock her out, she wails again reacting by grabbing onto Hrian's armored arm.

OOC: Folzi is grappled. Lyra/Lebenha are grappled with a DC 20 and having disadvantage I am going to make the assumption they will fail. Let's move on.
The Shepherds march Folzi, Lebenha, and Lyra from the gallows to Sune's fortified tower garrison. Entering the tower it's highly decorative room filled with an array of finer most of you haven't seen ever or in several years! The Shepherds escort the three of you into the large room where other Sunites are rushing around arming themselves.
"Cells full yet," Harper stops a young half-orc boy in his tracks, he's probably around ten and wears scarlet robes, the boy shakes his shaved head and carried a staff.
"You all are the first to bring anyone in," the boy replied with a toothy grin at Harper then glares at the three of you.
"They're going in the cells. Then we'll go back out to round more up," Hawthrone explains to the other Shepherds hauling Lebenha forward as Harper pulls Lyra by her chains and the cleric who seized Folzi, who's name is Lance, tugs the gnome by his shirt collar along too.
Leading or being pulled down a spiral staircase you know without seeing outside you are being brought underground. The dank staircase is narrow, only one medium sized creature can pass at a time. The stairs seem endless until reaching the damp landing. The cells look harrowing. There are sixteen in all but only two are full. One directly by the door has a heaping mass inside and another three cells down which have a similar nondescript pile of rags.
In the bowls of the Sune fortified tower garrison, the dungeon seems the only ugly place you've seen. The three of you are separated but then placed accordingly, Lyra and Lebenha are placed together while Folzi is placed across from them alone. Your chains disappear remain but your manacles remain. They feel oddly less heavy, however, as the runes seem less vibrantly carved into the metal.
"These cells are made of stones quarried from the Weave Waste" Hawthorn begins with a sneer, "magic is useless here but for those who have...faith," the ugly human man says still sneering, "know the way," he adds. "We'll be back soon," he adds chuckling darkly as he and his other companions disappear up the steps.
The warrior immediately altered his angle of approach, veering off at the last moment and circling around the woman in order to capitalize on her preoccupation with Hrain. The paladin lunged in and swung twice, obviously trying his best to spare the woman the razor bite of his sword's blade. Haldur was not inclined to be so merciful... after all, the bodies that littered the ground made it hard to want to keep the woman intact, but perhaps the Shepherd had reasons for wanting to keep her alive. Intent on following his employer's lead, the young sellsword lunged forward once he had reached the ten foot mark from his prey, utilizing his halberd's extended reach to initiate his attacks away from the woman's personage.
Haldur you separate the woman from Hrian and she is bloodied both your hits succeeding and bring her to her knees but she wails loudly thrashing around before holding her hands up again at you.
The sorcerer focuses on Haldur casting poison spray again 80 vs. 78success or fail; damage 23 and is now considered poisoned Haldur now has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until healed to max HP.
When Folzi feels that he has regained control of his body, he immediately attempts to make a break for it. However, he finds himself held tight and the chains are placed on him. He thinks twice about calling for the Captain and just moves along defeated - for now, as he's sure to take advantage of the next opportunity presented.
As his cell his slammed shut, Folzi gives Hawthorne his best stink-eye and spits back in his gruff, yet squeaky voice, "Faith!? Bah! Don't hide behind that shit. You know, you people are a real piece of work. One of these days - maybe sooner than you think - someone is gonna make an example out of YOU! Don't think I haven't survived this long in this camp without knowing how to manage some asshats trying to shove our kind around." He stands at the front of the cell sneering back defiantly at his jailer.
When they enter Sune´s temple Lebenha turns her head and says to Hawthorn
“You live here? And still complain about being posted here? Dear Goddess you are softer than I thought! “ she expects some kind of retaliation but it’s totally worth it.
When throw into the cell she hears Folzi´s words and smiles. It seems that she is not the only one with a sharp tongue.
She leans against the wall and sits, trying to relax herself and calm down the swirling energies that she felt inside her, mixed with strange feelings.
“ A weird thing faith is “ she comments to Lyra but hoping that the sunites hear her “ the most pious doesn’t hesitate to call on it and the compassion when committing the most nefarious crimes against all that they should be defending.”
"You speak of faith? My Goddess admires beauty above all else and I find none in any of you," Hawthorn says leaning into the bars and leering at the gnome. He then spits on the ground near Folzi's feet before he adjusts his glimmering golden armour. "Soon you will all know the power of my faith," he adds grinning next as Harper and Lance snicker.
They leave the dungeon.
OOC: Sick burns y'all... Feel free to continue to chat to one another but the Shepherds have left the building so to speak.

"Damn you!" Hrain's eyes show nothing but calm, as he attempts to use the weapon to it's full force this time. "You should have surrendered when you had the chance. You are too dangerous to live, though it pains me to do this."

Lyra does her best to suppress her laughter while the shepherds are present, but bursts out and nearly tears up once the attendants are gone.
