BDaddLy, are you trying to intimidate Jean? That's reasonable, however, the effects of Fatal Susurrus are focusing your attention on Perspicacious at the moment.

In the event that Cordelia manages to interpose between Jean and the professor:
"Stand down, miss,"Cordelia says in a flat voice. Her glasses have a sheen to them that obscure her eyes to her target. As she speaks, she clutches a dagger from the belt around her waist that keeps her various weapons obscured from prying eyes. The human keeps her hand behind her, hoping not to have to pull it out and strike this woman. "Something odd is happening, and we would do well to keep our heads."
Should Jean press onward, Cordelia will swing at Jean with the dagger. Not to kill, but to force her away from the professor. (Attack: 21, Damage: 7 slashing.)
In the event that Jean gets past Cordelia:
Cordelia rushes up to Jean and attempts to restrain the woman by grabbing her hand and wrangling it behind Jean's back. Judging their height and size differences, Cordelia isn't certain this will work, but she would prefer not to resort to violence if she can. (Athletics to grapple: 14)
(Of course, a crit failure. In any case, forgot you asked for a strength contest: 13.)

Fatal Susurrus, btw, was a gradated DC 15. Below a 15 would have made you angry and more prone to fight. Below a 10 would force you to attack a person of my choosing (e.g., Amaruve). Below a 5 inflicts psychic damage and throws you into a rage (e.g., Jean)

With chaos erupting around her, Perspicacious barely has time to question the motivations of Jean before she notices the large bear that used to be an odd looking person, creature, delivery boy? I doesn't matter. She is losing control of the situation. And she hates losing control of a situation. But first, she'll have to deal with the bear.
Perspicacious will take the Dodge action, trying to shield herself from the attack. Given the opportunity, she yells at Gordra to put a stop to this before someone gets hurt. She doesn't fully understand what's happening, but it is his lab, so he has to be able to do something. Persuasion if needed: 23
Jean barrels past Cordelia who has just barely too much space to cover in so brief a moment. Jean rushes the professor, slamming him against the wall and (Rivina: Complete your action here! This is a free attack given the element of surprise- you can roll damage, but you don't quite have space in which to grapple because Cordelia...)
...grabs ahold of Jean and attempts to yank the warrior off of her dragonborn mentor.
Jean, you can make a strength contest here (with advantage, thanks to your berserk state: DC 13) or attempt something fancy to more directly damage/subdue Cordelia.
This is the initiative, now:
Gordra: 14 Jean: 12 (waiting on description of Jean's action) Amaruve: 12 (OOF. Damn.) Cordelia: 9 (Attempting to pull Jean off of Gordra) Perspicacious: 5 (Attempting to dodge. Because dodging requires "all of your focus", I'm going to say that you aren't able to communicate with Gordra while Amaruve is bearing (:D) down on you. You get advantage on dex rolls, so we'll treat your persuasion roll as your first dex attempt (2+4 = 6). Roll dodge once more for an attempt to reduce 6 points of slashing damage to 3 points.)
(We'll call it DC 12 to halve damage, Perspicacious)
I realize that disadvantage (Thanks for rolling that, BDaddLy) normally applies to attack rolls against a dodging participant, but given the turn order I ignored that while opening the door for a possible dex save
(That's fine. Sorry, AP- I was in a presentation while initiative was being rolled. Just to clarify, you're saying the bear slashes at Perspicacious and her action is to call out to Gordra?)
(OOC Sorry, don't want to confuse things any further. We'll just say for this round, she's attempted to mitigate the damage by ducking away from the attacking bear. (Dex save above, reducing the damage to 3), and we'll see what happens in the next round before I post another action.)
(Perfect. Thanks, AP. Because we're not in the same room (or the same hemisphere, for that matter) I'm going to play a little Calvinball with the 5e rules to keep us from getting stuck)

OOC: No problem. Aussie timezones.
Jean, felt a pull on her when she attempted to tackle the professor and so, just to do something she lashed out with a kick. She then attempted to wrench herself out of Cordelia's grip.
(No worries, Rivina! I knew we had to wait for you to get up!)
Jean's boot cracks across the professor's face, bloodying his snout as she is pulled away. In this moment, the professor's eyes are entirely focused on the here and now. Coruscating energy begins to spark along the exterior of the glass bubble. Gordra- any spell slots you may have been burning in the course of your work are now restored (though you are clinging to consciousness). Jean, you are restrained by Cordelia. Impossibly, the small assistant pulls you to the ground, prone, and pins you.
Perspicacious manages to twist out of the way of the bear's claws the last moment. Amar's paw instead rakes a pair of shallow gashes across her chest and shoulder.
