Now there is enough light to see (though it is gray and directionless, like a mist), Cordelia looks around her. She sees four other shapes huddled on the ground- her companions. She has just a moment to be utterly confused before the memories fully return to her, and in that moment her companions begin to stir.
(You have all awakened. You are at Max HP, spell slots recovered, inventory intact. What do you do?)
Gordra feels around on the ground for a moment, looking for his cane. Once he finds it he uses it to help boost himself up to a sitting position. He sees Cordelia's face in the glow of her STR-DST, and says "Hmm, we must have had a power outage, although I don't know how that's possible." He rubs his head and adjusts his glasses and then sees all the other people laying on the ground near him, and all the excitement of the past few minutes comes back to him. "Ms Luna, could you be a dear and help me up."
With the bear finally off of her, Perspicacious scrambles back against a wall, pulling a rapier from a discretely placed scabbard behind a fold of clothing in her business attire. "Arghg!"she yells,"Get back, beast! I don't often have cause to use this, but that doesn't mean I'm any less deadly with it."The adrenaline rush of the prior chaos subsides as she watches the bear cast puzzled looks about the room. The room which she now notices seems to have quieted down. "Jean? Gordra? Is everyone okay?"
(Perspicacious, you notice that the space in which you have found yourself is less a room than a dimly lit expanse of something. You all are free to roll investigation or perception, if you so choose)

Amaruve doesn't seem to notice the sword as he shuffles awkwardly around the space on his hind legs. He examines their surroundings. He feels a sneeze coming on and covers his mouth. Acooff! A flame is produced, and Amaruve catches it in his claws. The little ball of fire sheds bright light over 10 feet and dim light 10 feet beyond that.
Aparently he can still cast spells. He concentrates and seeks Gaia's Guidance. (Perception w/ Guidance: (3)15)
Amaruve, you stand in the middle of your companions, all of whom begin to unconsciously huddle closer to the warmth and light coming from your hand. After a moment, your sharp ears detect a sound like a windchime in a soft breeze.
The entirety of the Tower lies above you. Your stomach lurches with sudden vertigo, and it suddenly seems as if the world lies outstretched below you, while you hang suspended from a ceiling of black glass. The blood rushes to your head and you struggle to center your body against this horrible sensation
Descending from the space of the warped Tower, you see another figure. It is blue skinned and man-shaped, with pure-white arcane symbols splashed across his body like graffiti. It is surrounded by a building-sized halo of broken glass- the orbiting remnants of the Novascope, and it holds the cracked heart of the device in its sky-blue hands. The light pouring from its body offers none of the warmth of Amaruve's flame, but the party's features now stand out in sharpened detail.
(RAW Guidance does not affect saves or attack rolls. Specifically the spell Resistance is the same spell for saves. Also worth noting that Guidance ends when you make the check. Not that I mind sparing the ladies.)

The professor stands up and slowly turns around taking in all that's around him. The blackness, the tower, Vasht, the floating glass. And he attempts to form a hypothesis about what is going on, assuming he hasn't gone mad.
You double over, a large quantity of partially digested grubs and berries suddenly occupying the black surface in front of you. Your flame is extinguished, but all is still lit by the radiance emanating from Vasht
Professor- your mind is racing with possibilities, each less plausible than the last.
This appears to be some kind of self-contained pocket dimension, but the presence of the ENTIRETY of the Tower, folded in upon itself like origami, would preclude that explanation.
It occurs to you that Cordelia could ascertain more information on her device. For now, vasht is still descending slowly, but he hasn't noticed you all yet.
Jean groaned groggily as her eyes fluttered open. She wobbled to her feet and, catching view of everything around her, she stumbled a few feet away from the others so she could fall to her knees and start vomiting.

Amaruve stands upright. "Growwahh!" He apologizes covering his face with his meaty paws, ashamed of his loss of control.
He notes his meaty paws. "Waghhraff?!" He asks. Examining his arms, legs, and hips. He touches his nose and ears, puzzled.

(It's turning into a horror show in here. So, that means everyone except Jean was huddled around Amaruve's flame before he horked, as well.)
Nothing seems to be changing in this place. Vasht (if indeed it is Vasht) continues to hover roughly 30ft above your heads.
