Amaruve lumbers from the cockpit unaware of any tension among the people present. He immediately accepts three or four young riders, and playful attempts to buck them off, jumping and turning as they cling to his coats. He only adds to the chaos for anyone attempting to coral the children.

Perspicacious helps Amaruve to play with the children. Her normally punctilious demeanor overtaken for the moment by a flood of relieved happiness. Seeing this, the Iron Guard disperses entirely. Captain Naz'k instructs you all to take the day to recover from your ordeal, but she plans to take your statements this evening.
The goblins form a ring around Tony and begin peppering him with questions. Who were these adventurers? Where were the children taken? Why? Would you take a look at this bunion? Have you ever seen one so big? Hey, where is Tonya, anyway?
Tony pinches the bridge of his nose and closes his eyes, “Guys, guys, guys... Do you honestly think that I have time to answer these questions! I’m far too busy...” A sly grin grows on his face, “Planning the celebration dinner! Come on! I don’t see a single one of you ready to put on your finest! Tonton, get the wine from that one supplier in the upper levels. Baker Str. Tony, go get the catering ready. Tony Big Eyes, gonna need my suit tailored. The rest of you, get moving! You know the drill.”

Only one goblin remains. A middle-aged lady, her dyed blonde hair styled in a gravity-defying beehive. She wears a simple black dress and incredibly gaudy jewelry that is likely more expensive than it looks.
It is, of course Carmella Tonyprano, mother to Lil' Big. She gives the little pugilist an appraising look and, without saying a word, steps into him for a clutching hug.
"She's safe?" she whispers into Tony's ear. "I would know if she died: is she safe?"
Suddenly, Carmella grabs Tony's face and looks deep into his eyes. You know this look, Tony, and it's always trouble. For a second, it's as though you are in the Void again, and all of your secrets are laid bare...

The dinner itself is quite grand! Staged in one of the finest theaters, the Tonies have spared no expense! There is more than enough food to go around and each are arranged in various kinds. It is a feast in every sense of the word. During the dinner, in an hour or so, the Steam City Theater Troupe will be performing their two finest plays for the enjoyment of the guests. Furthermore, the group is invited to the VIP area of the party, usually reserved for the immediate family of Big Tony himself, who, surprisingly, seems to be a hobgoblin. The night should be quite something!

Amaruve, wearing a long tailed tuxedo and tophat, sniffs the air and presses into the theater, only knocking over a few priceless decorations and Tonies around the entrance. He moves down the buffet table scooping up various platters and serving dishes, before he finds an empty table big enough to hold his haul.
Prior to the dinner, Perspicacious steals away to do some shopping. She takes Chime with her as a fashion consultant. As decisive as she is, an outside opinion never hurts. The bottom of the dress had layers of petticoats that made it rather large, but elegant. Sensible shoes from the cobbler, also leather, with padded soles. A top hat with goggles attached to it at the haberdashery. The googles did nothing... but they were a nice accessory. When they came to a store bearing mechanical instruments, Perspicacious was taken with a long metal contraption that fired metal pellets similar to how her bow shot arrows. Chime put the kibosh on that. You don't take weapons to a nice dinner. Not visible ones anyway. She settled for a slim black walking cane, with a brass tip, and a round brass grip etched with gears and cogs.

Amaruve, you plop down next to a grizzly old goblin sipping delicately at a small bowl of broth. He looks up at you peevishly as you begin munching noisily away at your spoils, but seeing who you are, a huge smile cracks across his face.
"My, my... You must be the shapeshifter Carmella told me about. No need to worry, my dear lad, your secret is safe with me. I won't tell anyone that you're not some trained bear." His eyes glitter... innocently... He slowly pulls a large coinpurse from under the table and clinks it down next to your plate. A pair of heavy golden coins spill from its top.

The next leap may not be as forgiving.
Perspicacious, all of the items you seek are in a series of interconnected shops just off the village square. They are handsome wooden structures with copper finishings, and through the windows you can see that all of the clientele is incredibly well-dressed. Over the main entrance is a sign reading "LOV Fashion", and under that a smaller sign spelling out the acronym: "Lossie - Onder - Vosin".
Standing just inside the entrance is a pair of immaculately dressed wood elves. The husband's eyes are red, and his wife is speaking comforting words to him. When you walk into the store, they suddenly cry out and rush up to you. Immediately, they hug you and shake your hand vigorously. They introduce themselves as Lossie and Onder, proprietors of LOV Fashion. Shyly peeking around the counter, you spy a tiny wood elf girl named Vosin- one of the children you brought back from Laputa. Ah, these would be her parents, then. Vosin took a particular liking to you during the flight back to the island of steam (boy, nobody's going to ask what this place's name is, huh?). In many ways, she's like you were as a child: quiet, intelligent, and observant. She shyly walks up to you at her parents' bidding and says in a piping voice, "Ms. Persi- thank you for saving me." Her eyes well up a bit. "You're not at all like that other one with horns. He made us all wobbly and forget stuff. But you're nice."
As she speaks, Vosin's parents look at you incredibly warmly. All of your clothes are completely, 100% on the house. Furthermore, they insist on rigging up your party with proper adventuring attire before you leave the island. Whenever you have time...
Amaruve leans down to look at the coins then at the old goblin, he hadn't noticed the table was occupied. He doesn't have much use for coins, or at least not much use that he can think of. He shrugs "When in Roam", he Once heard Cordelia say. Thinking back, the statement didn't seem to make much sense. He plops his own purse on the table. (My sheet says I have 10 gold, but it's entirely possible I've failed to adjust it properly, if we have had any rewards or expenses.)
Amaruve considers how an "Eating contest" must work...
The old goblin gives you a wink. "A little light, eh? How about this? Why don't we just play for this first round for 1 gold?" He looks around the table, then grabs bunch of green grapes and holds it aloft. "We can start simple. First to finish their grapes- seeds, stems, and all- is the winner." He coughs a bit. "It's been a while since I last took part in a contest myself... go easy on me, you old bear!"

Before Fiorello has a chance to find a place for himself, his elbow is taken by none other than the elegant Carmella Tonyprano. The top of her blonde beehive barely reaches the bird's chest, but she immediately takes charge and steers him to the head table. "So, Master Fiorello," she says without preamble. "You must have had quite the adventure out there. Did you enjoy making a story this time? Quite different from reading them in your books, I would imagine." Following his gaze, you see a large hobgoblin man shuffling around jerkily... horribly... on the dance floor. "That young dancing king is my nephew, Thaunie. Why don't we bring him over and give him a crack at our little wager? I'll even give you this since you're a little light in the purse: You win, and I give you 1000 gold pieces. You lose, and you just owe me a favor. No big deal."
His smile is bigger than ever. "C'mon, whaddya say? Do we got a bet?"
