Rill, you take more time and really study Seva. She is absolutely hiding something. You don’t know what, but she is holding something back. And it’s clear it has something to do with the ornate sword on her hip.
The rest, you’re sure she is speaking the truth on. And perhaps you’ve heard of Lord Blackwood which easily corroborates her story.
Over the next hour, you work out the details and prepare for the journey to Deepacre—Seva’s small town. The town is about four day’s ride southwest. Seva separates from you all with the instructions to meet in the square in an hour. She needs to collect the payment and purchase provisions.
During this time, you can purchase whatever gear you may want or need. When the hour has passed, Seva meets you in the town center. True to her word, and a bit naive, she hands over 1,000 GP to you.
Is there anything any of you want to do or purchase or say before you get under way?
ooc: I would like to purchase food and a couple of full wine skins for the road, also like to see if i can acquire a map of the area we are travelling towards.
Thadrith ponders whether she's ready or not. It would be nice to know more about Deepacre before heading on their journey. The same for Blackwell. Thadrith has heard of him before, of course, but not often. The only time she heard her family talk about him was when they were complaining about his rudeness. Thadrith had filed him under "Spoiled Rich Men (A Neverending List)" and never looked into him. Now she wishes she had.
Well, what better way to learn about him than to go see him for herself? Besides, Seva seems like she can give some info.
"I'm ready," she says before turning to Seva. "Seva, you never answered Tristan's question earlier. Does Blackwell usually keep to a schedule?"
(OOC: Just to be sure, the money is separated by 125gp for each character, right?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(use the spare 6 for supplies/food or any healing potions"
After shopping, and sobering up slightly, Rill waits in the center of town for the others to join him, relishing the thought of getting back on the road he secretly hopes everybody continues to journey together for to lose a member of his newly reformed clan would hurt him considerably.
Rill will watch the comings and goings from the his seat in the center of town.
(Ah, I didn't even realize they left. Well, we could use the remaining six for supplies and such. Or, since Thadrith doesn't care much for money, she could take 142gp and the rest of the group takes 143, leaving nothing left over)
Myra packed her things and headed to the center of town. Being a sorcerer she didn't have any weapons to worry about so it didn't take her long to be ready.
(Sorry I haven't been posting. It's been a busy week.)
It's ok we all have things that need doing, I do however hate to be adrupt, but do you feel this game has legs? Or are we in for a slow burner ?
We've had no DM comments for 5 days and limited player interaction between one another I would love to continue we have some great characters, but it's up to you.
I'm sorry if I haven't done my part in this, because I'm pretty sure that is the case, but I prefer to try to keep a faster pace, and make things better for others than to stop this. If the DM has any problems that are keeping them from responding here, I feel we should wait, but I had other games run so much slower than this one, that it didn't even bother me. If it is a problem for you, though, I would like to ask for the other's cooperation, from whoever can help it, to make it run at a more satisfying pace.
Elery, just as Myra, and for the same reason, has nothing she ought to buy at the moment, so she also sets herself at the center of town, waiting for the other party.
I am more than happy to continue, this is my first PBP and I would like to see it further for sure :)
Rill
"Find anything useful? I managed to buy a map of the immediate area, we are to head this way" he says turning the map around and tapping the group's destination with a claw.
im waiting for the dm's answer to my question before im ready for my next post, and are we buying healing potions with the spare 6 coins or are we buying our own healing potions?

DMing "Gallia Campaign 1".
Looking for a new game, if you need a player private message me.
Healing potions cost 50 gold, so, those 6 can help, but we need more than that, I didn't buy it myself because we already had a lot of healers on the ready to cast some spells, Elery herself, both clerics, and supposedly the bard, even though Ratche hasn't filled Tristan's spell list yet.
With that said, those other 3 who don't have healing spells could find some use for holding onto a potion, seeing as we're still low level...
"I found nothing on first sight, but I was actually thinking about taking a second look, the way things went, I'm almost half sure that I missed something." Elery answers, and then scans the map, taking note of any locations that might bring to mind something she should have bought but forgot about.
"Anybody in disagreement?" Rill looks up and down the table at his compatriots awaiting a response.
Tristan
"Not I"
Thene leans foward.
"No disagreement here... "
And leans back.
Thadrith
She shrugs. "I already said I was in."
