The door opens and Harbin glares down at Vondal. "Leave us alone." The dwarf has only enough time to realize the townmaster is now dressed in traveling clothes before the door is shut again in his face.
Adrom re-enters the waiting room where Karl, Nif, Droop and Cyrine are waiting. And evidently Zander is sleeping.
Vondal eyes narrow and knuckles pop from clenching them hard at his side from Harbin's last words. "... Then may your ancestors forgive your cowardice, and your gods show mercy, Young Harbin. For you'll fine no other friend or foe upon this world willing to do the same once you keep to this course."He says again just loud enough to be at least partially overheard past the door, and then turns to make his leave.
Something stops him however, and before he knew it he stepped back up to the door and says, "Misses Wester. Talk sense to husband one last time 'fore you two commit to this."His final plea given, Vondal makes his way back to the others.
"Well, that lot will not cause problem for a while. Now let's go find that twonspeaker you wanted to talk about, right?"
"I will keep this " he says to Cyrinie tapping the keys on his belt " So they know it is worth try anytingn against you, but try to stay away from them. that would be better."
Vondal can hear a heated discussion going on behind the door, but he can't make out any words.
Cyrine opens her mouth and raises a tentative hand as if she might have a response for Adrom, but as he turns away, she simply looks worried, and doesn't say anything. The three dwarves step out of the townmaster's hall (assuming Droop and Zander are being left behind with Cyrine since Vondal basically told the goblin to "stay" and no one has woken up Zander ... including himself), they look down the road and can see Vondal standing at the front door of a house about halfway down the road.
Vondal looks between Karl and the house, then shakes his head. "We need to give them a minute." He frowns as he glances back at the house one last time. "Or three... At the very least, they'll probably be at it for a little while. No need to stir the pot any further than already is."Vondal says, sounding somehow ashamed of something. "We still need find Sildar. And should probably let Halia know at least decent news about the raid, seeing as word hasn't gotten round yet. In case Young Harbin has second thought, one of those two could maybe assist in putting things back in order. Halia at least seems respected around here. So, could rally folk once told." He expresses, then starts tugging at the side of his beard.
"Hmm... If you, Nif, and Adrom want speak with Halia at miner's exchange, I'll check at Inn. Can get Zander there while at it. Or we go together one way or other? Not partial to any one thing at moment. Just... want things done and over."

Halia looks up as Karl and Nif enter. Her lips curl into a smirk, but she beckons them forward. "Good afternoon, strangers. What brings you back to see me again so soon?"
Meanwhile, a tired-eyed Vondal makes his way to townhall. Cyrine, unless she saw to Zander, is given little more than a passing pleasant smile on the gold dwarf's way to the sleeping man. "Mnn… Come on now, young one. Time to wake up for a bit." Vondal sits Zander up and gives him a few shakes. If that isn't enough to wake him, then he sighs and shakes his head. "Lady Cyrine. I know last I ask where Sildar was. But do you at least know if he mentioned anything 'fore you two went separate ways?"He asks of her.

"Hnghmph?" Zander mumbles as he wakes, "Whuh? Whuzzat?" His eyes flutter open, and he sees the dwarf standing over him. "Oh, hello, Vondal." He looks around at his surroundings, and his eyes go wide. "What happened? Did I fall asleep? Did everyone get out?" He tries to jump to his feet, but his body does not acquiesce, and he instead tumbles out onto the floor. He picks himself up slowly. "Tell me what happened."

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Expecting the error, Vondal manages to catch Zander before he falls, and rights the man with a click of his tongue. "Easy, now, easy, young one. Need you conscious for while longer yet. Still much to do." He smirks and pats Zander on the arm. Once assured the man could stand on his own two feet, the gold dwarf backs off, but stays ready to catch him again. "We found you passed outside entryway. Didn't look like you been there long. And--"
Vondal voice catches on a memory of tears. With a curt shake of the head, he goes on to say, "Other prisoner. Found in other area. Dwarf named Adrom. A traveling priest of the father and crafter of the dwarfs, Mouradin!" A smile comes easily, though proves to be fleeting as thoughts turn back to the rest. "We have yet to see others. But know at least Westers made it back for sure, still sorting head out, last saw. Of others, I can only assume they went straight home. Though I don't imagine it will be too long 'fore news spread of their rescue to any remaining redbrand's in town. T'is why I asked Uncle and the others to look into grabbing support from Halia in meantime. Still need find Sildar though. Think you're up for a little walking? Figured we try Inn first in meantime, and stop unnerving the lass." Vondal toss a thumb back towards Cyrine's direction.

Nif shuffles his feet a little before speaking up. "HI there. We are just dropping by to let you know that we have dealt with the redbrands in the nearby manor. I fear their may be more of them with their superiors at a place called Cragmaw castle, which we do plan on investigating."
Cyrine is happy to let Vondal and Zander have their time together and doesn't interrupt. When they go, she appears happy to see them depart. They walk up the street to the Stonehill Inn and enter. Toblen is not behind the bar. The only occupant is a human woman in her mid to late 20s neither of them has seen before, who is cleaning and straightening up. When she hears Vondal and Zander enter, she turns and smiles at them. "Welcome. Can I help you?"
Halia's eyebrows rise at Nif's words. "Really? And what of Glasstaff? Did you deal with him as well and bring me some of his correspondence as I had asked?"
"Uh... 'ello Missus Stonehill?"Vondal says suggestively with a raised brow. Soon as he had his answer a nod is given in return. "Not sure how much Toblen has said of us, but the name is Vondal, of the noble clan Stormfist. And this here is Zander. We, uh... we're recent arrivals."He clears his throat. "Any-Who! I was wanting to find out if you've seen a Sildar around this recently? Sildar Hallwinter: well-aged human, may have mentioned being apart of Lord's alliance, kind of a knightly baring. Sound familiar?" He asks uncertainly of her after long since strolling up her.
