(@Wooby: Don't know if Vondal actually caught that last bit from Zander or not, but assuming he did...)
Pior to disappearing fully into the tent, Vondal gives Zander a solemn look. "I have said before, but I'll say it again. The dead should be left to rest. Not bound in service, or traded around; especially by one who clearly lacked any moral scruples about such actions."He straightens out and adds one last note, "You do not simple look away from such things because they happen to be 'cordial' about it. Down that path is nothing but corrupting compromises. Meditate on what I say tonight. And if you feel the same in the morning... ask yourself is this difference in view enough for you."Vondal does not wait for another word.
Some time later, Vondal is staring at the list of question, wondering for the first time if he had made the right choice. A moment later the gold dwarf is neatly folding the paper away, pocketing it away for later. Stepping up to the chest, he checks to see if it might be trapped or locked in someway. And if not either, opens it up.

The chest springs open with ease, revealing a few interesting items: a leather bag, a vial of liquid easily identified as a potion of healing, a bone tube, and a tiny jeweled box. Within the bag are 35 sp, 20 ep, 20 gp, 5 pp and one pearl. Both Vondal and Nif inspect the piece of parchment they find rolled into the bone tube, but neither can make heads or tails of it. Within the jeweled box is an ornate ring. It is made of bronze and features no gemstone. The outside of the band is intricately carved to depict an endless mountain landscape and inlaid with decorative ebony chips. On the inside of the band are runes Vondal recognizes as draconic, but he can't read what it says.
After looking over all that's found nearly twice over, a frowning Vondal has to sit back on the cot, rubbing his forehead with one hand while the other held the pearl betwixt thumb and forefinger. Close to a minute passes before the gold dwarf sighs and reopens his eyes again. "I am going to keep hold of this one. For now. It feels familiar, and I wish to further meditate on it. The rest we divide and show to the others."He frowns. "Though I think.. once we're back in town, if not Neverwinter, I will donating my share."He admits, then hops off the cot, pocketing the pearl in one smooth motion.
"And maybe we find tailor in town." He chuckles as he plays at some of the torn bits of his clothing. Afterwards, he grimaces, but stuffs the scroll back under the tube, trusting Nif to grab the rest. "Oi! You lot seen to bonfire and bad wizard, yes?" He asks the group as they step outside. "And Zander. We may have found thing for you to look at more closely."He says offering the tube to Zander, and gesturing for Nif to do the same with the ring.

OOC: I'll assume Nif has no problem showing Zander the ring.
Zander palms the piece of jewelry and looks at it. It doesn't ring any bells. He also recognizes the runes as draconic, but can't read what is written.
Vondal half-heartedly grins. "Or I find my own spellbook, and remember some old lessons from way back when. But in any case-..."With a grimace, unless Karl or Adrom saw to the necromancer's body, the gold dwarf grudgingly pats the man(necromancer) down himself; expecting little, yet strangely hopeful for one last piece of far more incriminating evidence than just a foul practice and bold admission of a dead man.

Karl, how are you burning the corpse of the red-robed figure? Never mind. No need to draw this out. You burn the red-robed figure. It is now a burned corpse.
If nooene else takes the lead, then Vondal will help guide the efforts of dragging the remaining bodies together to be burned all at once. Though just before that moment, he looks to Adrom expectantly to lead in a prayer for the dead. A no doubt informal one, as tradition often involved the burial being within a clan's tomb. Despite some clear desire to watch the bonfire throughout the night, once assured the blaze wouldn't spread beyond the ring of stone, he turns back to the others.
"We'll camp here tonight. With any luck despite the blaze, the Orcs scared away from this place will remain away for at least another day. Still, we keep same watches. And come tomorrow, we continue our march for them, yah?" He looks about to the others with tired eyes.

Glad that the rest of the undead didn't come back, Adrom takes his shift last one and tries to have some breakfast ready for the rest of the party when the wake up.
"Seems that we are going to have a rainy day, but I kind of like when it's cloudy. Feels almost like having a good stone roof over our heads again... "
Even after completing his morning ritual exercise Vondal had a troubled look about him. Yet, at Adrom's words, a gentle smile crept into being as his gaze turned skyward. "My sister made same reference once long go. She knew me to be nervous about coming to surface, so made sure we left on such a day."The gold dwarf chuckles as he made to start getting things together. "It is as good a sign as any in my book! Let's be off. With any luck, the tuskers will be too focused on huddling in some cave or huts to be focused on our approach."He said as he made to follow after Karl and the rest towards Wyvern Tor.

“Well let’s be off then - we’ve got Orcs to kill” Karl says as they finish breakfast. He leads the party off as stealthily (6) as he can but kicking every rock and breaking every twig he can.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hopefully it rains sooner than later. That way, you can always blame rain."Vondal adds with a grin to Karl. "And if not rain, then Uncle can be bait. Smash more Orc heads that way."

Nif nods as he follows Vondal to the chest. Getting down on one knee, he gets out his lockpicking tools.

Zander unrolls and reads the scroll. It is a spell scroll of darkness.
"It's a scroll. It'll create a field of magical darkness around whatever you cast it on. Should be useful."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
OOC: I'll assume Nif has no problem showing Zander the ring.
Zander palms the piece of jewelry and looks at it. It doesn't ring any bells. He also recognizes the runes as draconic, but can't read what is written.
"Don't know about the ring. Would anyone here just happen to know draconic?"
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Nif shakes his head. "Not me. Maybe we can find someone to translate it at a later date."
Vondal half-heartedly grins. "Or I find my own spellbook, and remember some old lessons from way back when. But in any case-..." As the macabre bonfire burns for half the night, round-the-clock watches are divvied up among the party members, and an uneventful rest is had.
OOC: Hit those long rest buttons!
The sun rises to a mostly cloudy day. There's some wind and a chill in the air. You estimate a half-a-day's journey to Wyvern Tor.
Glad that the rest of the undead didn't come back, Adrom takes his shift last one and tries to have some breakfast ready for the rest of the party when the wake up.
