In a gesture of considerateness, Nif puts away his dagger and leaps the two-foot wall surrounding the cistern. SPLASH! Not having really looked at the pool, it comes as a complete surprise to the dwarf when he is completely engulfed. His feet finally touch down 10 feet below the surface. Pushing off, he swims northwest to circumvent the (yellow) Redbrand. He comes up, dripping splashing, moves to Vondal and administers a healing potion.

And if he can't immediately, then he grabs Chaff Cutter once more, and twists himself around into position to send the thing pounding right into the man right between the legs before kicking out a leg, and risk being buried in the process. Nif grimaces as he is attacked by the Redbrand. "You long legs have no respect or patience." As he says this, he draws out his dagger again before laughing an attack with each weapon, hoping to take advantage of the Vondal attacking from a different direction.
Vondal crawls out from under the (green) Redbrand and stands up behind him, landing two solid blows. At almost the same time, Nif lands two cuts from the front. While Vondal attempts to take down the Redbrand alive, Nif holds no reservations and slices and dices. The (green) Redbrand falls to the attacks, unbreathing.

(Round 3) Zander tells the others he will be right back and begins scrambling up the side of the crevasse. It isn't difficult, but is time consuming. The family of three up top continue to huddle together, almost seeming to hold a silent vigil for their loved one. Harbin huffs as Zander leaves, but Alisa quiets him with a look.
OOC: Zander, it will take you to round 10 to drag one Redbrand body back to the edge of the crevasse. We'll hopefully be out of combat much sooner than that and will speed up time. What's crazy is that's actually less than a minute.
