Adrom leans on the wall as the beating he has taken takes hold on him.
"Bastards " he muttes spitting a little more of blood to the floor " You ok lads?" he asks to the others. " I thank Moradin to have sent you this way. This cowards took me and start beating the crap out of me."
"Aye!" replies the cleric with a smile that opens again the cut on his lip and standing up again. " I would love to find my gear and then I culd help you square it even more if you want. We cannot let this bringands to keep attacking dwarves on the road, can't we? Anyone needs healing? I don't have much energy left but I think I can channel Moradin's divine energy once more for you if you need."
Adrom's gear is piled in one corner of the small barracks room.
The rat which is Droop crawls out from between the barrels and becomes a goblin again. She looks at Vondal with big eyes, her ears drooping. "Are you alright, sir? I'm sorry I wasn't brave," she says, a bit of emotion coloring her voice. "But I can help heal your wounds!" She clasps her shunui and closes her big eyes to pray. Almost immediately, a shimmering, transparent form appears in the space between Nif and the dead (yellow) Redbrand's body. It looks very similar to a goblin, but is a little taller, has reptilian nasal slits, a frill around its neck, and enormous splayed feet. It looks at Droop with a kindly expression and then opens its arms to the others in invitation. "If you walk through her," Droop says with a bit of excitement, "Kikanuti will heal you."
OOC: There is a lot of discussion online on how much healing spirit can heal when not in combat. Many believe it's OP. Let's just say it's there and available for as long as it takes Vondal, Nif and Adrom to walk through it enough to heal back fully.
During the time the three are walking back and forth through the spirit, Zander drags the first Redbrand body back to the crevasse.
Nif will wipe his blades clean before sheathing them. He turns to Adrom and in Dwarvish says, "Well met brother. It's always good to see another dwarf." I response to Adroms mention of healing, he feels the cuts across his body and with a sheepish grin, he continues in Dwarvish, "I will take you up on some healing if it's not trouble."

(@DDP/Frandal: I'm perfectly going by whatever ze healer rolls in general. Even if only a one for future concern. :P)
(@DDP: On the thing about healing spirit, I'm personally on the fence. BUT I certainly do appreciate it being brought up and clarified for this game given the circumstances, and will endeavor not to abuse it; assuming Droop even sticks with us beyond a certain point.)
Vondal, who had taken to collapsing on the nearest bed to catch his breathe, finally retakes the situation as words of concern start truly sinking in. He gives Droop a particularly long and stern look before a smile graces his lips. His answer in the end aside from it is to pat her on the shoulder firmly, glance over at the spirit dubiously, and then very awkwardly shuffle through it muttering an equal strained "thanks" while hurrying through it once.
No matter how much better he felt after, the dark-skinned dwarf makes a point of not going through it again. But rather, he steps aside so that his brothers can do so while he finally marched up to Adrom. "The offer is appreciated. But I'm fine-..."He looks at the now many tears in is clothes. "Mostly.. eheh… If you're serious, my friend -- oh who am Iz kidding. You're Brother of Distant Blood, but brother all the same. And a Sonnilinor, at that. It would be an honor to serve with you in this endeavor... though I fair things will be easier said then done."He glances around the room one last time. "There's another we must meet as well, though.. hmm.. Uh, just Grab one of those cloaks of there's for now, and we should be on way." He gestures to the least damaged but probably still very bloodstained red cloak.
If Nif hadn't already by now, Vondal turns his attention to turnover the bodies and room of anything else of interest while Adrom gets himself together.
OOC: Oh, yeah, I forgot you three (four including Droop) are wearing red cloaks. So are Zander and all the other folks out there. Duh.
All three Redbrands wear belt pouches holding treasure. The first holds 16 sp and 7 gp; the second, 12 sp and 5 gp; and the third, 15 ep and two garnets. Three dirty scarlet cloaks hang from the bunks.
Zander, what are you doing now that you've drug one of the Redbrand bodies out to the edge of the crevasse?
(@Zip, Frandal, Grant: Feel free to push us forward in whatever direction without waiting on input from Vondal. Starting to feel as if he's done too much spotlight stealing as is.)
Both silently blessing and cursing his parents, Vondal is able to quickly assess the total, and dolls out 2 dragons(gp), 5 shards(sp), and 3(ep) to Nif and Karl. The same amount he re-arranges and puts into 3 separate pouches, tossing one to Adrom when finished dressing, and the second he keeps hold of, citing his intention to give to Zander. For the third...
"Here. Not much. But more than earned and owed by know for assistance." He glances over to a hopefully distracted dwarves(Nif, Karl, and Adrom), then whispers, "Remind me to pass you more later. Consider it offering to your lady, later. For sending such a brave soul to us."Another more grandfatherly or nice uncle smile briefly graces his lips as he sets the pouch in her hand. Of the garnets and left over 3 shards, the latter he simply pockets as his only part of the shares while the latter are inspected briefly. "Hm! Someone remind me when next in town to get these appraised at Barthens. No! Lady Halia. *finger snaps* That's the one. Gives decent deal, and we can properly cut shares there." He then does a second pass over the bodies. "And maybe see the sister about funeral arrangements for those sorry lot."

As Zander pulls the first Redbrand to the edge of the crevasse, he realizes Harbin and Alisa have climbed out of the crevasse, complaining that it was too cold to wait down there. Zander tosses the Redbrand's body into the crevasse and pauses, but doesn't hear from or see the nothic. He then heads back down the hallway for another body.
"Hmm I see that's pretty useful, even if I can't say that this selection is wich I would have chosen to summon but don't let brightness of the gold fool of its value as they say..."
After they are helaed up he says to Nif " better kept my last energies for an emergency right?." he smiles at the other dwarves.
"Well I am ready. You can count with me brothers. " he says.
Once the matters of coin is settled, Vondal spends a few extra moments dragging the bodies back into the room to deal with later. But he is soon ready to move out after Nif, be it up the stairs to the west, or yet another secret passage picked up by the younger Duergar. This time around he makes sure that Karl is also in front of him too.

Vondal keeps his [Tooltip Not Found] at the ready as he enters the kitchen after the others. But seeing no immediate threats, he breathes a sigh of relief. "This place... I was right!" He says in a hushed voice. "But let's make the lower levels search a quick one, eh? Zander could be back at any moment. And... well, that nothic fellow seems quite keen on pranking well meaning folk." He moves on to the nearest door leading out of the kitchen, and has a listen at the door before peeking into the next area.
It isn't hard to search the ruins of the manor, which is really more of a castle. It takes a good 20 minutes, but the group traipses through each room and finds everything deserted and empty. It's pretty clear the Redbrands have only been using what might be called the basement. Unfortunately, they find no beer.
Zander, you've got lots of time to play with. What did you all do?
