Mattias sniffs the coppery liquid in the mug before taking a deep swig. As he swallows, his eyes light up. "Reginald! This. Is. Delicious. What is it?"
Taking a quick follow up swig, Mattias mulls over Reginald's response, "It's as good a reason as any, I suppose. How did you come in to the service of the Brigadier?"
"Okay, sorry for the silence, I was just... Scanning the territory..." Umuni says, with a lot of uncertainty about what she's talking about, approaching the dragonborn. "I'm Umuni, and I believe I'm the last member of the crew you need to know."
She finishes her initial presentation, and then looks at the bar. "Hey, forgot to ask, an ale for me as well."
Nadarr nods at his two fellow recruits. “Tarkin, Umuni. It’s a pleasure.” He turns his attention towards Tarkin, clearly excited to talk about his swordsmanship. ”Orignially, I suppose I wasn’t too sure about the weapon, but well... Risingsun is fairly quite these days. We didn’t have too much to do except practice in the Guard. After a year or two, I decided to improve my form. After all, one can only do the same drills for so long without getting bored.” He studies Tarkin’s form for a brief moment, and his eyes come to rest on his scimitar. “I see that you too are familiar with the blade. It will be an honor to work with you. All of you.”
As Reginald floats a mug of ale over to Umuni, he replies to Mattias' questions, "To answer your first question sir, the brewery we acquired that ale from calls it a Prickly Pear pale ale. The answer to your second question, to put it simply, is that my family has been in service to Miss Yesola's family for many generations. Due to her more adventurous lifestyle, I was assigned to her." The mug of ale reaches Umuni; the liquid has a rusty orange color to it with a somewhat strong aroma of peppers, with an earthy almost fresh picked taste and a subtle flavor of heat at the end, just enough to burn but not be overly spicy. At this point Yesola pips up, "Reggie, don't ya go and bore the poor recruits to death with family history..." Anything else that Yesola was going to say is quickly cut off by her letting out a sudden surprised scream as the table her and the other three are sitting at is quite suddenly and forcefully flipped. Sending coins, cards and mugs flying and scattering in the general direction of Yesola and Thardigord. As everyone's attention is drawn to the commotion, you all see that the dragonborn Mikira is standing up with anger showing on her face, the air in the immediate area around the table has a sudden electrical feel. "You cheatin' halfling! I knew you was hidin' cards up your sleeves!" Nadarr and Thardigord, you both can see sparks of lightning crackle and pop from the edges of Mikira's mouth as she speaks. "Reggie!" You all hear Yesola yell over the commotion.

Just as Tarkin is about to respond to Nadarr he hears the commotion. His hand goes instinctively to his sword hilt. He doesn't unsheath it as he realizes there is no danger... to him or his group at least. So he sits back and watches it play out. "Well this just got interesting."

Nadarr quickly raises his hands and a consolatory gesture. “Now, now, I’m certain that there was no harm done, Mikira. Why don’t you let me get you a drink?” He then shoots a dirty look in the direction of Yesola, making eye contact as he continues talking to the frustrated dragonborn. “I’m sure that the halfling would be more than willing to repay you all her ill gotten winnings, yes?”
Without ever taking his eyes off of Yesola, Nadarr replies, “I‘m of the opinion that it’s better to deescalate the situation before any blame is squarely placed. After all, it is a nice table, it would be a shame if it was singed. Certainly, we can talk about accusations and proof in a few moments, but I’d rather see that no one gets hurt first.” He glances back towards Mikira, attempting to judge how the female dragonborn is reacting to the chain of events.
[Nadarr] Mikira seems to calm down a bit, there at least isn't sparks flying from her mouth, but refuses the offer of the drink. Her still burning anger keeps you from being able to judge how she is reacting to what is going on. Yesola isn't budging on giving up any of her winnings, either legitimate or ill-gotten.
[All] As Nadarr and Thardigord try to defuse the situation to a more reasonable argument, Reginald quickly drifts over passing through anyone who happens to be in his path. You all see Reginald pass into Mikira and vanish. There is a tense pause for a few moments, then Mikira's expression goes blank and you all watch as she just walks outside. After a few seconds of leaving the building you hear a splash and the whine of a horse. A few more seconds pass and Mikira walks back inside soaked from her head to about half way down her torso. She just calmly walks over to the mess and begins cleaning up. "Yep, that's usually how this game comes to an end. She's even a worse winner, if ya can believe that." Darmyr says as he just stands back watching Mikira put everything back into order. Once the mess has been cleaned up and Mikira is sitting back down at the table, Reginald reappears behind Mikira and floats back to behind the bar. The tension in the room calms down and it appears the Mikira is back to a calm demeanor.

Having turned in his stool to watch the whole scene play out, Mattias turns his head over his shoulder, leaning back towards the bar. "So three questions, Reginald. One, do these arguments break out often? Two, what did you just do to Mikira?" Mattias swivels his body back around to face the bar, "And three, can I have another pale ale please?"
With a few waves of his hand, Reginald floats the mug that Mattias has been using over to the barrel with the Prickly Pear pale ale and fills it up. As he sends it back over to Mattias he says, "Those spats do not occur as often as you might think. Miss Yesola and Miss Mikira have a friendly rivalry between the two. As to what I did to Miss Mikira..." Reginald leans over making it look like he is leaning over the counter and, Mattias, you can see a transparent toothy smile appear on his face. "I simply intervened and possessed her; and with the assistance of Sir Nadarr it was slightly easier than usual. Then made her take a long drink out of horse's water trough and clean up her mess. I will not tolerate fighting inside this establishment." Mattias, you also detect a slight hint of fatigue in Reginald's hollow voice. Which seems surprising because it doesn't seem like an incorporeal being could become fatigued.

“Well, that’s one way to do it. Remind me to never get drunk in this establishment, Reginald.” He moves to set down at the replaced table, glancing at Mikira, and then at Reginald. He then leans in and whispers, “What’s that like? The possession, I mean. Does it happen often?”
Mikira looks over at Nadarr with a distant expression and says with a shaky voice, "It is awful. Ya can see, hear and feel everything yer doing but don't have any control." She appears to not be very talkative at the moment. The possession seems to have rattled her quite a bit.
Reginald waves a dismissive hand at Mattias' concern. "I'll be quite alright Sir, no need to worry about me. Miss Mikira's rage makes it difficult to sometime take control."

Nadarr nods, regarding her wet form. ”It sounds awful.” Seeing that the dragonborn wishes to be left alone, he stands. Glancing around to make sure no one is watching, he casts Prestidigitation to dry her clothes. “If there’s anything I can do for you, just give a shout.” He then moves away, covertly attempting to see if Yesola was indeed hiding cards in her sleeve as he walks by.
After everything calms down Tarkin stands up after taking one last gulp of his ale. "We really should get started on this task if we are going to hit the two shops first. We don't want to get drunk before we even start our mission."

Draining his mug of ale, Mattias sets it back on the bar top and places a flat palm down on top of it. "Agreed Tarkin, let's divide up, hit both vendors and return here to set out fresh at dawn."
Glancing at Umuni he continues, "I think it best you let us know what you need."
"Of course, that'll be no trouble." Umuni was just waiting for the conversation to get over, and was ready to leave a few minutes ago, already. When she has work to do, she'll focus solely on doing it, until the task if finally fullfilled.

Thardigord finishes the rest of his cold drink and opens the doors leading outside to the unforgiving heat of the blazing sun smiling down to the outskirts of Risingsun.
"Let's get this shopping trip done so we can set out for tomorrow morning. If ye lads have a plan to buy rations, now is the time."

"Now hold up ye scaly dragonborns."
Thardigord looks at the two dragonborn talking to each other while drinking from his tankard.
"Both of ye dun' have any proof that Yesola gained her winnings through cheating. Dun' spatter yer theories until ye have evidence to present."
