Navek's half-finished thought goes unspoken at the mention of the mayor and speeches. "Ehhh, she won't mind if I delay number one on the list." Confidently, Navek finishes securing the boat to the dock, and meanders after the other fisherman.
Navek watches the speech in the back like his fellow Goliath with his arms folded, and face a stern mask. He pays few others any mind than the mayor for the most part. "Well, I certainly didn't come all the way here for nothing, good sir! You can count on my sword arm! Figuratively, of course." He lets out a hearty laugh.

Stumbling back for a second to recover from getting blasted in the nose, Thimbol was now missing most of what was going on around him. "Ahh. Bloody..." Rubbing at his eyes and wiping the blood away, it wasn't until he heard brief mention of free room and board that he perks up to spot the mayor through tear soaked eyes. The thought of going after blood scales was almost enough to steer him away, but maybe with the right group...
"I'll do it! " The halfling called from within the crowd. A single hand raised up as high as it would reach. Any that turned to look at Thimbol would be unimpressed with the dried blood and puffy eyes.
"Yes, I offer my help also," Sayre replies raising a hand from her vantage.
Sayre's tone is even, her accent decidedly different from the villagers. The red skin tiefling looking around at the other raised hands trying to fond the voice she heard second but unable to see the man in question moves closer to the stage.

**since you said over 15 sees the hooded guys, I'm going to assume I've noticed them.**
Mo gives three loud bangs on his drum. Booom, booom, booom! Then he lets out a laugh, "Ha Haa! Mo will join as well. Perhaps we should start with these ones." and he points to the approaching hooded figures.

Lorarila enjoys the show the mayor is putting on, and especially the offer of free room and board. That would easily solve her biggest issues with coming here, money and a house. While watching she spots some unusual men and the crossbows they have, her ears going red with rage at the sight. How dare they! If they aren't trouble makers I will apologize but I can'trisk it! Walking carefully through the crowd till she can draw closer to them. Her temper and willingness to act out had caused her school and instructors no end of trouble and grief, but Loraila never regretted acting when she thought it was right. As soon as she gets in range pointing at them and casting Firebolt, while yelling, "Screw off! You sons of a whore!"

Navek goes from nodding encouragingly that chimed in to looking in the direction Mo points out. "Hah! Good eyes on you, cousin!"He throws out a thumbs up. "Everyone! Kindly step aside, and leave things to us. And -- Hey! Watch it with the magic now. One stray shot and you'll set the wrong thing on fire."Navek begins walking over to the nearest crimson robed figure. "Alright now, crimson hoodlums. Drop the weapons, raised the hood, and surrender. Or, you sorry sods can have a word with Mister Happy-to-Smash. Guess how he got that name."
Initiative: 19 (if necessary).
Readied Maul Attack: 7 Damage: 10.
Intimidation: 21 (if possible without giving up readied action).

(Just got home from work, about to go to bed, wasnt sure if I should post something or wait for dm. Either way Thimbol would hide with the crowd before making his move. )
(Alright, let me figure out what I am doing here lol.)
So the moment Mo pounds his drum and points out the hooded figures, they immediately all fire their crossbows at mayor before attempting to flee the scene.
The mayor, alerted to the enemies by the Loud drumming and then the cursing by some of the members of the crowd, is able to take advantage of his small size and drop to the stage before rolling off of the back. 3 heavy crossbow bolts to whizzing past him and sink deep into the front of the Leadbelly's inn.
As the 3 Figures flee, a fire bolt whips from Lorarila's extended palm past one of the attackers and strikes the boot of one of the villagers, lighting it on fire.
Navek, who was standing a little farther back takes a big swing at one of the assassins as he runs past, catching him in the stomach and sending him somersaulting over the maul and landing on the ground 5 feet away from him. He is trying to get back up and catch up to his fleeing companions.
(Please roll initiative if you have not already) Sayre - 18 BloodScale Assassin - 16 Bloodscale Assassin - 15 Novek - 15 Thimbol - 14 Mo - 6 *hurt* BloodScale Assassin - 5 Lorarila - ?
*** So I was treating those last few actions as kind of a bonus round. We will now start acting in initiative order. Please let me know if your character is chasing the enemies or not***
The first Bloodscale is running down the street, away from the crowd... his hood will fly back as the wind catches it revealing the scaly face of a lizarfolk. He will look behind him and quickly load another bolt into his heavy crossbow and fire it at the huge Goliath standing over his fallen brother.
Attack: 16 Damage: 8
The attack slams into Navek's side sending him spinning
The second Bloodscale is smaller and running alongside the his larger companion. He will pause a moment and fire a shot towards the Half-Elf that launched the fire bolt at him earlier.
Attack: 13 Damage: 5
The smaller Bloodscales crossbow bolt hits hard with a sicking "splurt" as hit passes right through Lorarila's chest and into the building behind her.
(OH DAMN, they can't hit the mayor standing still but they can shoot on the run..)
if they're within 90 ft, he'll just stay where he is, this is all kind of amusing to him do far. But if he needs to move towards them to reach him he would.
(OK, just wondering.. I knew your sleep spell would be able to hit them but they are focusing on attacking anyone that is chasing / attacking them. Since you wont act for a bit the first 2 wont consider you a threat yet...)

OOC: This is my problem. They were ID, i.e. no more surprise, then we roll initiative mine beat everyone yet actions were still made before I was able to post because no one waited for my rolls or replies. Neither if those crossbow attacks should've happened or Mo's sleep spell once initiative was called for.
***(Sorry, the way i did it was everyone that made the perception check saw that they were bad and going to shoot at the mayor, so they fired their crossbows and ran and the people that saw them essentially reacted to it. I did drop the ball with having the two blood scale assassins attack before knowing the full initiative order.. that was my bad. Mo's sleep has not happened yet but will happen on his turn (looking like almost last))***
***Please make an attack roll Amazing and we will say it happened before they turned and fired their crossbows as they ran away. ***
**i wasn't doing it immediately, the sleep will happen on my turn in initiative. We posted out actions out of order but they can all fire in turn order once Wreckzors has everyone's actions**
****Waiting on an attack roll from Sayre (she can choose to attack the Prone Bloodscale next to Navek or one of the other two that are slightly farther away running form the crowd) and an initiative roll from Lorarila before I will post anything else. everyone can post their actions if they want for this round of combat even if it is not quite your turn and I will let you know what happens before we start the second round of combat****
OOC; problem with posting actions out of order is if you crit snd kill or Nat 1 you'll have to address that. There's also a possibility of the action of some before having consequences that effect everything. Sorry, I'm not use to ppl just posting out if order then reconning later if it doesn't "work out". Even Fallen might roll an initiative higher than me and we both attack the fleeing Blood scales kill them and they still would not get thier second attack. I'll hold until Fallen rolls initiative.
