Whispering: " we fought a blue dragon at greenest. If it was with the army, this could be where it slept (head motioning to the deep pit with high ceilings). The stairs could lead down to it. "
Wex looks at Sevrn incredulously when he suggests fighting a dragon, but doesn't have to intervene as the paladin comes to his senses. He will head with the party into the fungus room.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
As you guys continue down into the next room the scenery changes. The cavern is carpeted with a profusion of fungi ranging from a few inches high to nearly as tall as a human adult. Two paths lead through the fungi: one on the right and one on the left.
OOC: Theo, go ahead and roll me a straight Intelligence check to see if you remember anything about this part. You were being roughed up and rushed through here at the time. Also, to make it simple rather than how you're characters are facing lol, Left or Right as if looking at the map.
Flynn kneels down and takes a look down the two paths. Theo takes a second, coming up to the front of the line and looks down both lanes, trying to remember something about this part.
OOC: Theo, you remember the kobolds and humans shouting at each other to "stay to the damn left". You're unsure what happens to anyone that goes to the right.
Flynn, you do notice the left path more well used than the right.
Theo: "Ah, I remember something when I was dragged in here. I was forced to stay to the left, and everyone stuck to that side. I guess we should too. Possibly a trap or a monster."
Staying to the left path, you all must get into single file to male your way through. It wasn't for very long though, maybe 30-40ft long. Once through it opens back up.
Suddenly a voice comes out of the darkness from up above a small 10ft cliff, which is about 35 feet or so, away. The human looks down at you holding some ropes in his hand.
"Frulam sends her greetings. You should've stayed out of this."
The man then pulls on the ropes as hard as he can. You hear a loud metal twang from the side where a small set of stairs leads up to the top of the cliff. There exiting from a big cage, who's door just flung open, is three more of the large blue drake things! The come rushing at you all!

"Tempting as it may be i am not sure i want to venture into a dragons lair at the moment"

Talking quietly: "The way out is to the south through a fungal cave. Best we just get out of here I think? With the egg?"
[seemingly disappointed]
"As you wish, it's not the dragon we're after anyway. Let's find that monk."

OCC: do ability checks include proficiencies - INT save?
OOC: nope not a save just a straight check. so Roll the d20+Intelligence modifier

"Agreed. Let's go."
Wex nods along with the rest, left looks best.
