Father Velfrim is sittting at the back of the cart, inspecting surroundings for any signs of fate. His raven familiar is flyinf over the caravan. "We will finally reach the civilization. But clouds are unsettling and almost rigid today. That's a possible sign."
Sevrn pulls the sword strap of his masive sword off one shoulder and brings the entire length of the sword it to rest across both shoulders to relieve some of the weight.
He eyes Fathern Velfrim cautiously and slowly, he makes his way past Flynn, casting him a thankful smile as he makes his to Morpham at the front of the caravan.
"Velfrim portents trouble... again. At this point anything is better than this incessant walking. Do you see anything?"
Mopham, Sevrn steps up to ask his question. As you look down at him you cant be too sure but you could've sworn you saw something in the sky towards Greenest....something big. It was there one moment but gone when you looked back.

You all quicken your pace a little bit. Velfrim, we'll say you're riding in the wagon for this.
Velfrim's raven Huggin leaps from his shoulder and shoots up into the sky! Heading eastward towards the town. You all see Velfrim's eyes go blank as his senses are transferred to that of Huggin's. Huggin flying about 20' off the ground knows to stay within range of Velfrim.
Velfrim, what you and Huggin see, now that you're all a little closer to town. The town is actually just over the next hill rise and you see smoke coming from inside the town proper. There is no sign of anything in the sky as of right now, so you're not sure what Mopham saw exactly, but one things for sure the town looks to be in distress!
Huggin returns as Velfrim comes back to his senses. "I did not notice anything in the sky, however I saw smoke emerging from the town. Something bad is happening there. I suggests, once we are close enough to the city, we go inside in small groups to not attract too much attention, so we can figure out what actually goes on I there."
Sundown is approaching when you all top the next hill rise and see the town of Greenest just a few short miles away. But instead of the pleasant, welcoming town you expected, you see columns of black smoke rising from burning buildings, running figures that are little more than dots at this distance, a lone keep standing tall above the town is in the center.
You all are approaching from the southwest. A small stream runs through the southern part of Greenest. Bushes and trees flank either side of the stream in spots. You can tell the main road you're all on leads into the southwest corner of the town.
Father Velfrim descends from the cart and pulls his hood up. Huggin worrily looks around. "Danger!Danger!", he noises. "Shut it, Huggin, we need not to be discovered.", he says as slams his staff to the ground and the raven puffs out of reality."I purpose we go by the stream or through the bushes "
"And we should hold the caravan back - Morpham, if you want to stay with Velfrim and the caravan, Flynn and I can scout ahead. Huggin can keep an eye on us from the distance and send for you if we need help."
Sevrn will wait for agreement. If everyone is on board, he will start with Flynn along the water to Greenest, but hang back a little if Flynn chooses to slink ahead or flank to the bushes to keep pace.
Ok, Sevrn go ahead and give me the same rolls, but due to the smoke haze and low light now that the sun has gone down, both of you roll the Perception at disadvantage. I'll give you both advantage on stealth so Sevrn you stealth will be normal due to canceling out the disadvantage from Heavy armor.

You all are about four hours away from Greenest now. Mopham go ahead and give me a Perception check since you're up front keeping watch.
I scan the distance for what seems like the hundredth time.

I turn to the rest of the caravan and raise my voice to get everyone's attention.
"Let's pick up the pace a bit. We're almost there."
"I will send Huggin ahead, look over my body. I'll report anything I see, but I can't hear you. If something happens tap me"
Huggin will fly ahead and try to perceive what happens ahead.
