Yup, Flynn you were looking around but these dang mosquitoes are just dive bombing you left and right, at the moment, making it hard to pay attention to much else. Your pace has slowed now that dawn has approached. You all know that Greeenest can be reached within a day, but after having been up for the night and slightly lost, you're unsure how much more walking will be needed to reach Greenest.
At the first signs of relative safety Sevrn will lift his hood over his face, drop to his knees, and touch his head to the ground in prayer of the receding night.
He will whisper a further prayer in repentance of having missed the break of dusk. Sevrn will remain like this for some time before, with solemn eyes, he rejoins the party in search of a place to make camp and finally get some rest. his eyes are red, as if he's been crying.
Perception:
Sevrn speaks softly and in elven. The words 'we remember...' begin each incantation and are repeated often. There is a barely tangible vibration that pulsates every time these words are spoken. You hear something about '... the fallen' and hear the name 'Sevarash'.
Wex gives the paladin his space, looking about for a suitable place to rest, someplace with a rock, or a tree, where their silhouette won't be so obvious to anyone scanning the plains. As they make their way there, he will says, "So, not for nothing, but am I clear of this oath you had me take now?"

All of you in your exhausted state, find the nearest flattest ground and stop for a while. The spot is a little sloped and kinda rocky but you're all too tired to find something better. It does have a few trees for shade and cover at least. After everyone makes a quick setup of their bedrolls, watches are established and everyone settles in for a well deserved rest. Sevrn slips off to the side out of earshot of everyone to have a quiet chat with Blaine. Flynn sets up for first watch. Shortly after Blaine walks back to his bedroll without a word, climbs in, and is quickly asleep.
You would think it would be hard to sleep in broad daylight, but all of you are so worn out that falling asleep came very easy. Some of it was fitful, but it was sleep none the less. Flynn woke up Wex for her shift, with nothing to report. Only thing exciting during Wex's watch was a small bird that kept landing on Mohpam and tickling his face, it gave you some good lighthearted chuckles for a while. Wex, woke Mopham for a shift but shortly after that everyone else started to get up, unable to sleep anymore in the bright afternoon sun. But you all were able to get some rest at least.
OOC: so everyone got a Long Rest and a level up! Check the private messages to roll for HP's.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wex rolls over, unable to go back to sleep, and eventually stands up. "Wish we'd brought some grub," he laments. "We should probably get going." He will move the party along, back to Greenest. Noting that someone should keep an eye backwards, he will occasionally scan the horizon for anything untoward.

It takes a bit longer than normal, as you all were a tad off course, but you manage to make it back to the main road and then head west towards Greenest. It's later in the evening when you arrive, around 8pm. You're stopped by a guard post near the entrance to town, but are quickly recognized and led to the central keep. Governor Nighthill, accompanied by Escobert, greet you and have you join them in the meeting room. They have some food brought in for you all and then get right down to business.
Nighthill says, "I'm glad you all returned safely."He looks at each of you and smiles, but when he gets to Wex, his smile turns to a slight frown, then he continues. "What information do you bring us?"
Leosin steps forward, looking better to you all than yesterday. "These people need to be stopped! I've been watching them for some time now. This big push of grabbing and looting whatever riches they can is huge. They're trying to amass a huge amount of loot to aid them in summoning their queen, the ancient dragon goddess Tiamat. If they have found a way to do just that, then we have to do what we can to stop them."He begins pacing around as he talks. "I must get back to Elturel and speak with my order. But you four, yes you four...." He motions at you all. "Are you up for a return trip to the camp? We need to find out what is in that cave. If they really do have dragon eggs in there."
Escobert speaks up. "But what about where they're going to attack next? We can't ignore that and put every other town in the area at risk."
Leosin turns around to face the dwarf. "I'm not so sure they will be raiding another town, they've hit all the towns of a significant size. I'm afraid they might be on the move now. We need to find out whats in the cave and where they will be headed to next."

"Yes. It is not too late to find redemption. All power has its cost." Sevrn whispers as he walks solemnly past Wex.
Sevrn will help others find shelter, and after setting up camp will find a moment to sit and talk to Blaine.

Wex settles in for a nap. "I'm not hurt, but I could use a rest. Wake me in a few, and I'll finish out the watch."
OOC > Mostly just trying to stave off the effects of Exhaustion. But a short rest is good enough.

Wex's sleep is a little disturbed (Warlocks don't sleep well when they gain levels), but Long Restful enough!

Wex gives Flynn a grateful nod, but knows better than to add anything to this conversation.
