Sevrn, still burning in anger, walks over to the fallen half-dragon. Standing there above him, covered in blood from the many deep cuts across his shoulder and chest, he sheathes 'mercy' and draws 'Vengeance' his greatsword. Carefully, he lines up the blade with the half-dragon's neck, then, in a heavy blow, separates the head from the body.
Breathing heavily amidst the carnage and blood, Sevrn closes his eyes [casting lay on hands on himself - 14 hp].
As he stands there, the heat builds in his body, burning away the worse of the wounds. The scars are still there but the bleeding has stopped.
[moments later]
Catching his breath, Sevrn kneels to examine the half-dragon's body, weapons, and armor.
Wex gives Sevrn a long look, then shakes his head slowly. "I took a few gashes," he answers Flynn, "But I'm well enough. Don't imagine there's much more fight in these caves, given he was their champion. We should look about though." He looks at the chest in the room. "Still wouldn't touch that even for all the gold I've imagined over the years."

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
OOC: Flynn if you want to check out the chest roll me an Investigation check, please.
Searching the bodies, you don't find much on the berserkers, just their greataxes really. Langdedrosa has a small pouch with 100sp and 150gp. His armor(Splint) and weapons(Greatsword&Spear) are well ordained and fancy looking.
Flynn you approach the chest cautiously and walk slowly around it looking for anything obvious, but it just looks like a chest sitting on the floor. You don't buy that though. You move closer and check a few things. Its locked as you carefully try to move the latch. You run your hands over a few things testing them but don't find anything, then you move to the bottom of the chest and barely lift it. There you see a small rope attached to the bottom of the chest. Carefully you set it back down as to not trip whatever trap is set off by it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sevrn is going to toss each party member their share of Langdredosa's wealth in a small pouch (37gp and 25sp each), careful to give Flynn his share last and after he's stepped away from the obvious trap.
"If we can rest the night nearby, I suggest we try and do so - there are still the eggs we need to find and I'm concerned about the army returning."
Sevrn will scan the room from his vantage point and listen carefully. Perception + Bard's Inspiration: 1 + 2
If all is quiet, Sevrn will begin removing Langdredosa's armor to potentially replace his own (assuming he thinks it will fit). He'll set aside the greatsword and spear in case someone wants them or to potentially take back with them as evidence of Langredosa's death.
Wex takes the coin and puts it away (added to sheet, thanks). "I could use a short rest, but otherwise I'm fine to go on. But do we dare stop here? Perhaps it would be better to hole up in the room above?" he points to the hole we all crawled out of. "That seemed more defensible, and it did not contain a trapped chest."

"I had been thinking the woods nearby, but the room upstairs will do if you think it's safe enough. We can take shifts and enough of us can see in the dark that we can keep the lights out. I will need a proper rest, [you notice Sevrn gets uncomfortably guarded all of a sudden] ... I'm not quite sure what's been happening but i have... [deep breath] ...gaps... in my memory."
"Just remember who your friends are," Wex suggests. "A whole night, I would suggest we leave the caves, keep a watch on the entrance from outside, perhaps from our spot at the guard tower from before?"

You all head back the way you came in. Moving cautiously, don't want to walk into anything unexpected. But everything was as you left it. When you make your way out of the cave its darker in the evening and the hunters are still there. The fire has dimmed some and they seem to be sleeping, no guards or watches seem to be posted. You all make your way up the rope ladder and to the watchtower and settle in for the rest of the night.
OOC: whoops forgot about that Perception check lol. And yes the armor does fit in a sense a little loose in spots but workable.
Sevrn, you pause a minute and look around the room...listen for anything....You notice all the motifs on the walls depicting dragons. One thing that jumps out at you after you really look at them all, is that whoever painted them really favors the Black Dragon. There is way more of them than any other kind. Except for the now calming breathing of your companions and the odd drip of moisture, you're unable to hear anything else.
Wex's final hit send the man to the ground dead. The room goes quiet, all but your groups heavy breathing.

Mopham moves around the room, but stays close to the group. Just looking over the area. "Those men were tough, but I'm fine. What now?"
"loot the bodies of course, wish we had someone competent to look at that chest, ill give a look at it but not confident

OOC: watch duty?
OOC: anything on my perception check earlier? Also, does Langredosa' armor fit? (If so Sevrn will have swapped armours before heading back out.)
Sevrn will take second watch since it's dusk and he needs to mediate in prayer first.

Sevrn will have shared this observation with the rest of the party.
"Wex, can you detect magic? Is there anything of note here before we leave?"
