Okay, so far I can tell we have a grumpy old dwarf, a possible serial killer, and some Dragonborn dork...She tries to read the others, thinking up some odd nicknames to give them, just for funsies. This is gonna be interesting, hope they can handle themselves in here.

Wruce looks over his traveling companions. He keeps his distance, but makes no effort to take the position in back that the female human is clearly trying to hold. He makes mental notes.
“Impulsive, stubborn, shy, methodical.”
He grazes his hands over the flora inspecting everything he sees. Wruce watches as the dwarf hooks on and starts his decent, followed by a few others. When he reaches the rope he checks it by giving it a tug and inspecting the knots.
(Can I add a small backstory of how Yuno has joined the group? Ignore the spoiler if the answer is no)
When the rest of the party was getting ready to set off for white plume mountain, a simple town girl wearing a faded blue dress and a white apron approached them. She said in a meek voice, "Um... I always wanted to visit White Plume Mountain. I have heard lots of tales about it and my life would be complete if I finally see it and get to see brave adventurers journey trough it. It would be a dream come true." Whether or not the rest of the party wants to take a simple town girl with them, she will insist on going and is now with the rest of the party.
Yuno has long reddish black hair that sometimes appear to be dark violet under some lighting conditions, brown eyes and wears a faded blue dress and a white apron. She seems to be wearing a fur coat over the dress (Hide Armor). She peers into the gaping hole with excitement in her eyes. She appears to not have much experience in terms of combat though. She seems sweet and friendly.
Simply by the way one of the male humans spoke, she assumed he was more outgoing, perhaps a bit naive... Only time will tell. She turned to see the other male inspecting the rope, fixating on him. Inquisitive, perhaps a bit odd...
Once he turned to her and winked, her face turned sour.
Disgusting.
She begrudgingly follows into the cave.

Dennis scanned the group, trying to grasp who he'd be working with... and who to watch his back around. "New crews are always a little hard to adjust to," he whispered, trying to reassure himself.
Dennis Frostgaard appears slightly nervous in nature. He closes his eyes for a moment before descending into the cave.
The floor of the crevasse is muddy and dimly lit. The walls are covered in condensation and streams of hot steam billow from a hole in the back at regular intervals.
"Right. Now, we're looking for a door of sorts. Don't know whether it's hidden or magically or something else," says Embry.
You look around and see no obvious doorway or passage. At one end, the cave slopes up steeply and tapers to a point, and at the other is the hole that spews the ever-present steam.
OoC:
Rather than rolling perception, describe where you are looking, what you are looking for, etc.
Wruce, takes a look at this surroundings and starts walking along the wall. He puts out a finger and runs it through the condensation. He rubs it between his fingers, which are sticking out from black hand wraps that cover the rest of his hands, brings it up to his nose and smells it. He recounts the poem that brought him and probably most of the adventures here. He recites it quietly, but emphasizes a specific quatrain, saying it louder than the rest.
"North past forest, farm and furrow / You must go to the feathered mound / Then down away from the sun you’ll burrow / Forget life, forget light, forget sound."
Testing the assertion the poem is a series of clues, he starts moving downward down the slope and starts looking for darkness, signs of life - or lack there of, and possibly an area that may seem more quiet than the rest of the crevasse.
Karnys will examine the walls for any protrusions or suspicious looking cracks. He will also look for any sign of a magically hidden door (casting detect magic as a ritual).

Ronan mutters magical words to himself and gestures a symbol of protection casting mage armor on himself. He looks physically weak, leaning on his staff for support.

Hearing the dragonborn speak Roderick couldn't help but think that bards talked too much, but did typically use their words well. Distracted from his search he notices members of the party not just searching for the damned door but bracing themselves. While continuing to look he shifts his focus to the edges and corners attempting to be stealthy in case someone finds an unwanted surprise.

Yuno twitches a bit as Roderick goes to hide. She takes a deep breath and slowly approaches Roderick's hiding spot. She says in an innocent manner, "Are you looking for trap doors here?"
Whispering so that he can barely hear himself, looking and preparing for what may be found. as he finishes speaking he continues his search focusing on dark areas.

Karnys in a word: grumpy. He's wearing chain mail, and wields a warhammer.

Roderick can feel he is being judged. Typically when people first assess him they recognize him as shifty and possibly dangerous.

Mathers Marshall comes across as charming, very funny and outgoing. A decent guy who probably has had some issues in the past.
Mathers will peek in the hole, "Well... here goes nuthin'!" and he will start to descend.

After finishing his examination of the rope, Wruce winks at the human female and disappears into the yawning gap.

Roderick looks near the steam to see if it is shifted by a draft or acting oddly as its moisture settles to the ground.

With others busying themselves with the walls, Cleese takes a different direction and starts sifting through the mud.
As he does, he thinks out loud (but does not realize he's doing it), "I don't recall anything about doors being strictly on walls..."
