Neya walks over to the targets and begins to talk to some folks that were already using them for a friendly knife-trowing game. Some silver hits a neutral's hand and shortly thereafter Neya and a guy named One-eyed Pete begin a game of darts for keeps. While this unfolds, she keeps an eye out on those around her.
Most of the people around you just seem to be engaged in some general merrymaking, One table to your left, however, calls your attention, as does the stage to the corner.
GOSSIPING TABLE
Two older human women dine together, but they seem to be spending more time looking around the room than chatting with each other, although there is plenty of that too. One of them wears an elegant dress that seems a bit out of place in the modest inn/tavern that is the Tea Kettle. The other, despite the overall hustle and bustle of the crowded tavern, seems to need the aid of a horn that she holds to her ear in order to hear her friend speak. Their laughter is high-pitched and cuts through the ambient noise in a way you can't help but to notice them.
STAGE
Two halflings dressed in bright motley colors jump and tumble on top of the stage. A third one plays a pan flute in the background. They perform loudly, but in a language that is unrecognizable to you. Colorful musical notes float in the air as they tumble, clearly a magical effect of sort.
(OOC: Neya, let me know how much silver you are betting. One-eye Pete will match, but keep in mind he doesn't look like he'd have much. Throwing each dart will be an attack roll.).
(OOC: Who sent the barbarian alone to a social encounter?)
GAMBLING TABLE
Graxx hits the half-elf wearing a hat. He hits the ground moaning as his hat flies off. His cowl-wearing partner jumps at you, as does the rat-looking halfling.
Cowl-half-elf's punch (melee weapon attack with advantage) vs Graxx: 14, Damage: 1 piercing. You move out of the way but the swing still catches you.
Ratty-halfling's bite (melee weapon attack with advantage) vs Graxx: 4, Damage: 1 piercing. You slap the halfling down.
(OOC: no need to roll for initiative, this will not last long. Added advantage to the rolls because of reckless attack, that’s why they look manipulated I think).
The anxious one, a pale-scaled dragonborn woman looks around nervously as she collects the money on the table, startling at every sound. The old gnome laughs and smokes.
Utar makes his way to the back and finds Buhrell already talking to Madame Freona. She is an elegant looking halfling older lady, and seems to be listening attentively to what the half-orc woman has to say. Blaizette also looks concerned.

Of course as the fight begins Andmarir looks to his friend. " Well, that answers your question. " With that, he stands up on the seat that he was sitting up, pretending to look at the fight but in actually looking around to see who looks rather very nervous. Been a bit higher, he is hoping to have a better view than if he was on the floor. Most especially he is looking for anyone that is heading for the door quickly.
Drazzim chuckles as he gets out of his seat. "This is where tha fun begins." He says, cracking his knuckles. He stows his greataxe on his back and gets ready to join the brawl that's started up.
Seeing the Half-Orc go away, and the Elf clearly not interested in the scroll, but instead on the wonders of the tavern, Marfaen shrugs, takes the scroll, and uses it instantly instead of his ritual. "Okay, now to find that item..." He stands up, talking to himself, albeit anyone still at the table could still hear him.
Already knowing how the spell functions, he tries to get a feel as to where the magical presence is stronger around the tavern.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pausing a step away from the bar, Utar grips his amulet, a faint glow eminating from it. Knowing he's not a particularly charismatic man he asks Torm for whatever guidance that he can offer.
Joining Buhrell at the bar, Utar waits for her to finish speaking before adding "Madame Freola, can you bar the entrances to The Tea Kettle? I think it best if we keep whatever threat that is in here...in here for now."
He leans closer across the bar "Are there any regular patrons here you recognise? Anyone you don't like the look of?"
One-eyed Pete adds 5sp to the pile and grabs three darts from the designated cup. He watches Neya throw her first dart and hit the outer edge of the target. He then places himself at the appropriate spot and lets loose his own:
-> One-eyed Pete dart throw: 15
Score after first round: (Neya: 1; One-eyed Pete: 3)
GRAXX & DRAZZIM
GAMBLING TABLE
Graxx punts the rat-looking halfling who travels a good 10 feet before landing on the ground right in front of Drazzim. The halfling begins to stands, still up for a fight. Noticing that Drazzim is about to join the brawl, he tries to scratch the dwarf.
-> Ratty-halfling's scratch (melee weapon attack) vs. Drazzim: 7, Damage: 1 slashing. It doesn't get past your armor.
His companion will swing a fist at Graxx:
-> Cowl-wearing Half-elf's punch (melee weapon attack) vs. Graxx: 15, Damage: 1 bludgeoning. It hits but you feel nothing.
The pale dragonborn lady finishes collecting the table's pile of betting money and looks like she is ready to make it for the door. The old gnome continues to watch attentively and smoke his pipe.
ANDMARIR
The ranger gets to a vantage point on top of his chair and begins to observe.
Insight check: The only nervous looking patron at the moment is the pale dragonborn lady who seems to be spooked by the brawl that just began at her table. She looks like she'll be dashing towards the door any time now.
Perception check: Most of the people in the tavern floor seem to be engaged in their own celebrations or watching and cheering either the brawl or the dart game that just started. You do notice however that across the tavern, there is one lonely man, sitting by himself.
LONELY TABLE
An elven man dines alone, playing with his food with a grumpy expression on his face. Two empty chairs are situated at his table, which is of note because sitting space is a rarity in the Tea Kettle tonight. He jots notes in a small book with one hand, while the other reaches into a pouch he has placed on top of the table.
RAG
Still carring some of his mutton, Rag moves to the next table over in such a way that his back is facing the wall, and his attention is focused on the main entrance. Otherwise, the halfling remains silent under his gem-sparkled cloak. No one is using the door at the moment, but this pale dragonborn is certainly starring at it,
UTAR
(OOC: That Guidance just put you beyond the DC you needed).
Although you cannot quite hear what Buhrell and Madame Freona are saying to each other, once you interrupt them the Madame already looks half convinced. "Yes, d'accord. Let us do it as quietly as possible. Here is the key for the main porte. You please, lock it yourself. I do not wish to be thought of as holding my invités hostage." The tone of her voice is low, as she seems worried. To your second question, she does not say anything, but her eyes indicate a couple of fellows at the bar.
BAR STOOLS
A dwarf and a human, both males, are engaged in a rowdy drinking competition. A handful of guests cheer them on and all involved are clearly more than a little drunk. The human passes his hand on top of his mug repeatedly before drinking a recently poured dose, while the dwarf seems bent on always drinking from his own tankard, refusing those of the house.
MARFAEN
The scroll crumbles on your hand as you finish casting this very familiar spell. You immediately feel the presence of many magical sources within the Tea Kettle. They are all around you. As you focus further, the threads of the weave concentrate on more than a few different spots within your range (Neya is outside your range and there is a lot of the area still to be covered):
-> Rag's cloak sparkles even more now than before. -> Drazzim's armor is one of the sources. -> The greatsword at Graxx's back, along with something within his backpack are also magical. -> Utar's scroll case is definitely not empty. -> The pale looking dragonborn lady has collected a magical item from the gambling table. -> The old gnome's pipe is glowing brightly. -> The dwarf's tankard at the bar is magical. -> His opponent's mug also has some magical liquid inside.
The raging Graxx will make a reckless attack against the Cowl-Wearing Elf trying to punch it.
Attack: 13 Damage: 4
Graxx will use movement to place himself between the Dragonborn lady and the door. He keeps his eyes on the attacks but wants to create an obstacle in her path.

Taking the key from the bar, Utar nods his thanks to Madame Freola "Merci, is there a back way out of The Kettle for you and your girls?" He smiles, trying to put Madame Freola at ease, "For emergency use, but I don't want anything happening to my favourite blender of chamomile tea."
With that Utar leaves the bar, crossing The Kettle, giving Graxx and Drazzim a wide berth. Standing in front of the main door, he positions himself with his back to it. Taking the key to the lock, and turning it sharply to the left.
Seeing enough, Andmarir starts to move along the tables and chairs. Now heading towards the bar and continue on in the direction of what positively could be a spell caster. That may be in the process of already casting something.
Acrobatics , to maintain balance or if need be doing flips along the way.

NEYA
One-eyed Pete laughs at your wimpy throw, which hit the outer edge of the target once again, "Ha! I have this in the bag already little lady!" He then prepares for his second dart throw:
-> One-eyed Pete dart throw: 7. Not as good as the first throw, but still enough to increase his lead.
Score after second round: (Neya: 2; One-eyed Pete: 5). Just one more dart each to go.
GRAXX & DRAZZIM
Graxx knock out the other half-elf with a well placed chin strike, and the crowd now in a circle around the brawl goes "Oooohh.." The barbarian then moves to block the dragonborn lady's path. She seems surprised and unsure of what to do next. She is burly, but doesn't seem to want to put up a fight.
The ratty-halfling is the only threat left and is engaged with Drazzim. It's Drazzim's turn to swing a fist.
UTAR
Madame Freona says "A capitaine always goes down with the navire, no? I will tell Blaizette to warn my other filles and leave. I'll remain behind the bar. Now, go!"
Buhrell adds "I'll help round up the girls and hook the latches on the backroom doors."
Utar then goes and expertly locks the front door. It doesn't seem anyone has noticed and potential mass panic has been avoided, at least for now.

ANDMARIR
(OOC: With that roll, you could jump from table to table to get to your destination).
LONELY TABLE
The ranger drops down to the floor and weaves through the crowd, moving to the southwester corner of the tavern floor. As you approach the lonely man you see that he has a pinch of some sort of powder in his fingers. He took it from the pouch on the table and is now drizzling it over his own food. He does not seem to notice your approach. The grains of powder sparkle against the many light sources in the tavern, almost as if they were changing colors as they travel through the air before hitting the food on the man's plate.
NEYA
"That's a much better throw lady. We are tied now, but I still have one dart to go."
-> One-eyed Pete dart throw: 11. That should be enough for a victory for One-eye Pete..
-> Final score: (Neya: 5, One-eyed Pete: 6).
As the game ends and your opponent counts his silver, Neya notices the following:
GOSSIPING TABLE
The older ladies are now looking at you with the corner of their eyes, and pointing. They are definitely talking about you.
STAGE
The tumbling group of halflings is still at it, but instead of floating musical notes, their act is now accompanied by a beautiful spectral tiefling dancer.
Marfaen gets up, and starts slowly making his way to the other side of the bar, checking everything he can see around him on the way there, while at the back of his book, he makes notes about every magical item he sees, who has them, and what the item is, or looks like.
He's using ink, and an ink pen he had stored in his backpack. The descriptions he's making, just as the spells, have preference for drawings rather than verbal descriptions.
Neya walks over to the targets and begins to talk to some folks that were already using them for a friendly knife-trowing game.
