As Tobias and Flint try but fail to touch or coax the odd creatures that remain at a distance from the party. They are not hostile but seems elusive and far too cautious of the group to approach them. They do seem content to drink at the pool, however, tolerating the party as if thankful the beast is gone!
The dwarf wades into the pool and stinks to his shoulders his robes, gear, and beard sufficiently saturated but the pool is no deeper than 4ft! A wading pool maybe but nothing deep enough to sink beneath the surface other than his face underwater.
(To take care of a little 'housekeeping" while we're in a bit of a lull...)
After Nel emerges from the water, Tobias is digging a few things from the bag of holding. "We have all this druid's gear here that we aren't sure what it does...?"
As he gets into the pool Nelburn speaks up, sounding disappointed: “Well, this thing ain’t even deeper than a goblins bog! Hmm...let’s av’ a look see what’s down ere then.” And with that he dips his head under the water to see taking a good five or ten minutes as he wades around looking carefully and using Shape water if he needs to make the water clearer to see.
Nel finds a rusted dagger and armor but nothing else.
Nam finds an exited door of rusted metal hinges on swollen damp wood with a curious looking latch to open it. The door looks to be bolted on this side as if to keep something or someone from coming through it. The room is oblong and cavern-like as I said before. It's got the pool with 10ft on either side passing by it the damp corridor behind the party passed through from the other room to get to the pool and the great dark abyss above where the flumph's roosted. The room itself seems to be rising in temperature too now that the water beast has been vanquished!
OOC: The options are going back to the other room with the transporter and shocking grasp door or continuing out of this room into another. A third option being settling here for a 'long rest', with watch shifts and leveling up before moving on.

Nam makes his way back to the others. “I think this is a good place to take a rest. I can take first watch, anyone with me?” he ask looking around at the others.

Wading back out the pool Nelburn shrugs to the others: "Nothin' much useful in there...unless yer after beastie guts that is!"
As he gets out the water completely he spends a minute using his shape water spell to try and draw as much water from himself and his pack as he can. When hes done what he can he looks to the others and says: "Restin' sounds good to me. Gees me a chance to spend a bit o' time with an idea of mine. Once we're done I can be floatin' us up there if that's what we fancy?"
The flumph's scuttle away from Flint's huge hand and none come near enough nor let the fighter close enough to touch regardless of his efforts.
Tobias/Nam first watch I need perception checks
OOC: PP is high enough now you wouldn't fall asleep on watch unless you roll a Nat 1 of course which we'll discuss if/when it happens. Second watch solo or two of you OR third watch solo or two of you, pick!

FLINT will offer to take second watch solo.. standing like a defiant beacon in the dark... hoping to also sneak in a pet or two on one of the sleeping Flumphs
