An abrupt sound comes from the table where the four hooded figures were seated but have since gotten up from the table to quickly from a semi circle behind Griff and Isk.
"You would be wise not to make such threats in a place you are out numbered," a female voice comes from beneath the hood as it's lifted free. It's removal reveals the pale skinned raven haired woman standing six feet tall. Her hands gripping the hilts of two short swords on her belt giving Griff a sneering expression.
The three young boys nervously go for their arms too. The oldest a longsword, the second a dagger, and the youngest a totem of some kind around his neck. Then the two smaller figures appear with their hands raises as different colored engeries roil wanting to be hurled. Meanwhile the last medium sized hooded figure removes their hood to reveal the bald tattooed head of a monk. He's dressed in grays and blacks flexing his muscled neck and shoulders.
There's a tense silent moment before Hamish calls out.
"We...we don't want trouble in here," Hamish, the barkeep, says voice wavering. "This is a respectable establishment," he adds curtly.
The party then sees Charity near the door rush out disappearing in the street!
Karnic, already with his backpack in hand and ready to leave with the other two to go shopping, lets out a loud audible sigh dropping his pack, "Here we go again." He looks to Garrett and Nam, "I was going to go shopping with you two, but I'll have to catch up later. Looks like I'm going to be needed here." Karnic reaches into his vestments and pulls out the amulet that he keep around his neck; it is a palm size round disc with the same three stars in a triangle that his vestments have on them. "Another tavern, another fight. Why can't we ever be civil in these places?"

“Shopping can wait” as Nam joins Griff, quarterstaff in his left hand and a ball of fire energy in his right. He keeps his eyes on the 2 sorserer of there group. His eyes change from green to blazing red as the energy builds inside of him.
Flint will shake his head as the four individuals he was attempting to talk to quickly stand up and prepare for a fight. Using one of the now empty chairs, Flint would step up on to the chair and then on to the table top, knocking over tankards of ale with his heavy boots as he draws his heavy crossbow and holds it in front of him. "ALRIGHT ENOUGH OF THIS HORSE SHIT DICK MEASURING!" Flint would yell, his visible eye focused like a laser on moves from person to person... friend and foe alike. "We are all here to get a job done." his face turning red with anger as a vein appears to protrude from his forehead. "Fighting, taking losses, and pissing off the locals is not going to help anyone get through the maze so everyone just need to calm the HELL DOWN!" Flint will slowly let the front of his crossbow dip, his back heaving up and down as he takes deep angry breaths. "Everyone that is with me... let's leave these gentlemen alone to cool off.... "
If it looks like the situation is deescalating, Flint will jump off the table, give the bartender 5 gold for the disturbance, and walk out the door, otherwise he will shoulder his crossbow and continue to keep it pointed at the enemies in the room.
Persuasion if needed? 5
OOC: Damn... I really hope you didn't want to use that persuasion roll... I could roll intimidation if you wanted... or I could just fail terribly :P
Griff stands back to back with his mammoth half orc friend. Barring his teeth he gets in a low feral fighting stance.
“Oh we ain’t as numbered as you think we are” Griff says to the Raven haired woman. He smiles and gives a head gesture towards Flint who is now jumping on a table wielding a cross bow then to Nam, hands aflame.
“Now which one of ya wants to die first” Griff squeezes out of he clenched teeth. Foam now starting to accumulate at the corners of his mouth.
Flint, not seeing the weapons lowering fast enough will quickly pull a hand off his crossbow and throw his helmet on the ground, accidentally sending the cloth over his eye with it. "I said we are not FIGHTING HERE DAMN IT! As his cloth hits the ground you can all see that his right eye is completely blood shot. The eyelid is mostly missing and what little bit is there appears to have been melted to his face. the eyebrow is gone... replaced with a shiny, bumpy scar that wraps around the side of his face and stops at his ear. While his left eye is focused and full of anger, the right eye looks like something out of a nightmare.
BEFORE Griff makes his second threat Garret sees a flash of the woman running into a small stronghold at the end of the main street. His attention focuses back on the trouble unfolding as seconds later he hears the sounds of heavy steps, lots of them, marching down the street!
"Get out!! ALL OF YOU," Hamish shouts from behind the bar he's cocking a musket with a trembling hand and holding it up as his wife and sister in law rush behind the bar while others dive under tables!!
Flint will sling the crossbow on to his back and jump off the table with a heavy thud. His hands raised as he walks to his helmet slowly crouches down and picking it up and placing it on his head after positioning the cloth over his eye. With his helmet and cloth back in position, he would slowly work his way to the barkeep and place 5 gold on the table... "I apologize for the disruption... " Then with a nod he would make his way towards the door. A look of pure frustration all across his face.
Isk is a bit taken back the sudden eruption of violence. In a calm, even voice he says, "Alright now, everyone calm down. Flint, lower your bow, no one is going to die here today,"
He looks to Hamish, "Good sir, this was just a misunderstanding, Torm will see you compensated for any trouble that may happen."
To the raven haired woman he flashes a wide smile and inclines his head.
Finally, he turns to the oldest boy at the table saying, "I came to you with tankards of ale, to discuss the maze, adventurer to adventurer. You ask what we can offer, and that's a fair question, we can offer experience. By the look of your shiney boots, you seem to be lacking in that department. Now, we are all here for the same thing, lets sit down, enjoy a meal together, and have a chat about this maze, shall we?"
As Isk makes his convincing appeals the city guard gathers outside. Isk seems to have convinced the boys and one or two of the hooded figures to lower weapons, Hamish and the raven haired woman remain ready for a fight.
"I said OUT," Hamish growls his hands trembling as the dwarf with lion helmet's heavy footfalls echoing in the intense silence.
"Caradoc," Hamish bellows from the bar. "Tro...troublemakers here for the maze," he adds motioning towards both parties standing with some weapons still drawn on each other.
The dwarf then grins.
"Must be my lucky day," the dwarf says snapping his fingers as he moves forward and the six warforge city guard begin to fan out finto the tavern forcing Garret back from the exit and making a line in front of the door about five feet apart staggered.
“Lucky day...” Griff smiles at the Dwarfs comment.
“I know what you’re thinking. ‘is that musket loaded’, ‘how many of these guards can you take down’ , ‘is the dirty man in front of me really going to kill someone right now’ Seems to me like this you gotta ask yourself one question ‘Do I feel lucky?’ ... Well do ya, punk?” Griff says to the Raven haired woman with teeth exposed and eyes squinted.
Flint will smack Griff on the back of the head with the same amount of force as the pat on the back he gave him earlier as he is ushered along the wall by the guards. "You are not HELPING" he would whisper yell as he took up his position like he was asked. "I am so PISSED right now, I think you should have been the one to go run off in the woods... I would have gladly bought your wolf an ale..." Flint will continue to curse under his breath... his gaze shifting from Griff to the dwarf.
"Your squabble with them is OVER! Now we have the city watch to deal with and I will not help you if you decide to do something foolish" Flint will say out of the side if his mouth to Griff as he follows the dwarves orders, his hands raised slightly to eye level.
Griff, in a short moment of rationality quickly glances about. Seeing that he no longer has the support of his party and some of them are being detained he straightens out his posture. With a flick of his wrist he conceles his dagger back into the back of his waistband. And raises his hands.
He says nothing and never takes his eyes off of the Raven haired woman then puckers his lips and blows her a kiss.
"Lower your weapons and come with me," Caradoc growls looking over the two parties.
Taking her hand off her hilts the raven haired wonan lowers her hands to her sides shaking her head at the two casters who snuff out thier magic.
"We're escorting them," the raven haired woman approaches the dwarf hands raised then hands him a piece of paper.
The dwarf reads it then groans loudly.
"Seriously," Caradoc growls looking at the boys then back to her.
"To my distress as well but my duty is clear," the raven haired woman replies. The dwarf hands her back the papers.
"Let them pass," the dwarf replies as the sentinels make a gap.
Then with a hard whistle the raven haired woman rallies her party then says something in Sul Na Marian to the boys that look indignantly at her but her glare gets them to move! The seven of them file out and in the doorway the raven haired woman stops blows Griff a kiss before the warforges block the exit again after her party leaves.
"Who started it," the dwarf asks next as half the bar as well as Hamish point at Griff.
