“Hey Nam, thanks for having my back at the tavern... we could have taken them” He says quietly to Nam.
He then runs up to behind Flint and Isk and outs his hands on their shoulders.
“Hey Big Guys, I don’t think that Dwarf wants me hanging around town. I’m gonna go set up camp and see if I can’t find some tracks. 7 people traveling, and 3 are Green Horns, gotta be leaving some pretty obvious signs of travel.”
Flint will walk to Griff look him in the eye. "Isk is right, that is a good plan." Then, placing his hand on Griff's shoulder he will lower his voice a bit "I uh... I am sorry for losing my cool before.. Your loyalty is one of your best traits.... do you... do you want me to pick up any items for you... food.. tools.. ?" Then, taking a step back he would he would nod and give Griff a smile. "Try to stay out of trouble will ya? At least until we are out of town" giving him a wink before continuing to walk with the group towards the shop.
“Don’t worry about it” Says Griff, but does not smile back. After walking away about 20 feet away from the group he stops.
”Hey guys... sorry about the trouble.” he yells to them. Then with the same enthusiasm as his pet before him he runs off towards the woods behind the tavern.
The party notices outside the stronghold a warforge made of bronze colored metal shuffles out behind them. The metal man keeps it's distance but it's obviously following the party. As Flint leads the party back towards Tamara's forge they pass the magic shop, Hendrick's Empherium. It's a plain looking stone building with a roiling cauldron on the sign. There's a few people milling around outside showing their companions thier purchases. The party can also see a large general store just two buildings down from the magic shop.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
As Flint approaches the Magic shop he will pause and look to the group. "Why don't we just stop here first, since we are here anyway.." Flint will say, removing his helmet for a moment to wipe the sweat from his brow before putting it back on his head. Knowing a couple of his companions wanted to see what the place had to offer he would walk over to the store and head inside.
OOC: I put stock in passive perception, insight, and investigation. You roll of something specific and name that thing. Perception is 5 senses, investigation is created things ex. traps, magic, ruins etc..
The party walks in Hendrick's shop and its dazzling to the eyes! Shelves lined the potions, elixirs, and powders that reach the ceilings. There's not a surface free in sight! There's one human and one elf in the shop working while three customers are shopping.
As Flint looks around he tries to find price tags to see what he can afford, taking in all the sights and trying to find any trinkets or rings or other items that he could possibly pick up for a good price.
OOC: magic stuff is normally expensive so if everything costs a bunch Flint will head right back out the door and wait for the others by the door.
I tried to only link items that are common or uncommon because I only have 100g and I want to buy other things from the general store and probably cannot afford anything in this place if I plan to only spend like.. 75 gold...
The pipe is just something that I think is kind of cool :P
A male human is helping a halfling measure out spell components into a bag as a graceful male elf with blue tinted skin and silvery air drifts forward to help Flint a the others mill about.
"Such a fine day for it," he says with a soft smile and tone of voice, it's almost musical. "I suppose you and your companions have come for the opening of the maze," he asks next with a silvery cocked curious eyebrow and smirk.
OOC: ALL items are in the shop per say BUT because I'm evil I've set a DC on 'finding' each of them. So, each one can be 'rolled for' and we'll haggle the prices? Can you tell I used to work at an antiques auction house Atlanta? hehehhee Good luck and may the odds be in your favor. Go nuts but remember you've got to PAY for it so maybe not too nutty...

***So are we rolling perception or investigation to find for these items?***
Flint will nod to the elf before extending his hand for a handshake. "Hello, I am looking for a few items and I was hoping that perhaps you would be willing to help me" Flint will reach into his pocket and pull out a small folded piece of paper with the items he was interested in buying, as well as a gold coin inside and hand it to the clerk. "Those are the items I am looking for, If you can help me find them I will promise to make it worth your time... I am sure you would be able to locate them in NO TIME" Flint would whisper with a smile and a wink. Flint will then walk slowly through he shop trying to look for the items.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Do you guys want to combine what money we have to see if we can possibly get more expensive items, if anyone finds anything really good?" Karnic will look over in the direction of the elf and ask, "Are there any particular items that you would recommend for taking into this maze." Karnic will be looking for the following items:
Isk thanks Caradoc in dwarvish and heads out with the others. He chuckles and says, "Just like old times."
"I don't need much in the way of weapons or armor, but if there is a curio or magic shop that has healing potions and the like, that would be useful."
Griff smiles at Nam

Nam gives a not and a smile to Griff's thank you and continues on with the others.

Karnic will also enter Hendrick's Empherium and scan the items in the shop to see if there is anything that particularly catches his eye.
(Perception/Insight: 13 not sure which to use, but they have the same bonus to the roll.)
Be excellent to each other, and roll for initiative dudes!
Isk goes in as well.
Garrett will enter the store with the others and scan the shelves for anything of interest but nothing specific.

OOC: Too many things to name or price. What's Flint looking for?
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
OOC: I mean something as simple as a healing potion might be ok to have but he would be looking for items that might provide him special abilities that may allow for new options to overcome obstacles in the maze. Things like... Alchemy Jug, Bag of Holding, Everbright Lantern, Pipe of Smoke Monsters, Ring of Water Walking, Ring of jumping
I tried to only link items that are common or uncommon because I only have 100g and I want to buy other things from the general store and probably cannot afford anything in this place if I plan to only spend like.. 75 gold...

Nam walks in and is instantly stunned. He wonders if there is anything that might boost his fire energy.
