As you eat your breakfast, the innkeeper comes to your table. "My apologies, I failed to give you my name last night. I was a bit distracted. I am Urwin Martikov. You may need my name when you go to the winery. Just follow the Old Svalich Road and the signs. And thank you for looking into this."
You leave the town out the gates you entered through, though they are now standing open in the daylight, and make your way back to the Svalich riad, turning west once more.
No sooner do you start down the road, than a deep voice calls out, "Who goes there?" Through the chill morning mist, you see a large man in drab clothing wearing a tattered gray cloak. He has shaggy black hair and thick muttonchops. He leans heavily on a spear and has a small bundle of animal pelts slung over his shoulder.
