Gargan gathers up the gemstones once again before giving Jack a quick nod.
"If the stones are accepted instead of currency in much of the city then perhaps our fitter would accept these himself."
Looking to the others one at at time as he carries on.
"I registered myself with Mr Barnibus' order and they informed me that should they require aid they would be in touch but that they had no work at present. Might I suggest that we pursue other avenues instead?
Cloudfur, my colourful friend, have you spoken with the enclave since we aided Sir Everdawn? Might they need further assistance?
Jack, at least for now, what of the Harpers? Have they commented on the outcome of our previous task?
And Kanus....I have to say I find myself at a loss here. Do you happen to know of any good sources of income friend?"
"That would be me, technically."Jack pipes in at that last point, grinning from ear to ear. "Idle jests aside, I'm still waiting on word myself on both fronts. Chances are good I'll have to be more direct later about learning anything, but there's no honest telling at this point how my inquires are gonna be received." The Tabaxi shrugs at Gargan "I have not spoken to the Enclave since last time nor have they visited me. Perhaps we just need to wait until Barnibus finishes his investigation. Or perhaps we should try and visit Renaer and see if he knows anything else."
The Harper taps her chin at the last comment. "That may be easier said than done. If you have any of those birdies left to try, you can do so. But if not, and... well, with the whole business of his kidnapping before, getting into contact with him again is going to be a little tricky, you know? That is, assuming he is playing things safe.
