Elyza just stands there. She quietly watches the other officers from a distance and does whatever she is supposed to do at the docks. (Elyza knows what she needs to do before take off but I don't)
For the time being, the officers just need to get aboard the ship and ensure their stuff is all readied. The captain will need to prepare the destination (eventually), the first mate will need to keep the crew in check, and the pilot will need to get themselves attuned to the chair for getting ready for their voyage.
In that case, Elyza will board the ship and place her things in their proper positions. Then she will stand at the door to her room and watch as the other crew members go about their business.
Almost halfway finishing the bottle of liquor, Elirdain regrettably leaves the remaining alcohol and dons his close helmet. After securing the bevor guarding his neck and pulling down the visor to fully cover his face, his eyes menacingly glows into red making his appearance fearsome. He then calls out his busy subordinates frantically running around the dockyard.
"Listen men. Since we don't have ample time to check all of our provisions, our first priority is to check if we have enough rations for the journey. Our next priority are materials necessary to operate and repair the ship. Equipment and clothing should be last. I'd rather have no clothes to wear than no food to eat and no place to sleep. If you understand what I just said, reply with 'sir, yes sir'."
The quartermaster's subordinates stand to attention. "Sir, yes sir!" They say, hurrying to the cargo hold (the deck directly below the top deck) and begin to quickly double check the itinerary.
Commodore Bledyll approaches the ship, standing at the gangplank that leads on deck. "Permission to come aboard." He says. He apparently has a couple of the grunts from the dry dock with him.
Valdayz's mechanical hand catches Elyza's attention and she swiftly moves over to it. She lightly taps it while staring at it closely and says, "Fascinating." She reaches a gloved hand forward in an attempt to inspect the attachment more thoroughly.
Kaala is innitially quite flustered by the accelerated timetable, but at the mention of why, all nerves seem to disappear as she enters what her subordinates have come to refer to as her 'zone'. She exudes a calm confidence as she moves to the helm to begin the necessary procedures to power it up.

Elirdain makes a quick salute befoe he speaks with the crew's benefactor.
"Quite a surprising night Commodore Bledyll. It would be great to have a small celebration with you and the rest of the crew before we sail but the current circumstance doesn't permit it. Are those three people behind you here to help us depart earlier?"

The commodore steps to atop the deck, shaking his head. "They are just here for the final preparations." He says. "You'll be leaving in just a couple of minutes." He beckons one of the assistants closer, who produces a small stone with markings of a face talking on it. "These are some of the latest magical items our researchers have crafted in order to keep contact with you once you have gone off into the skies. You simply speak into the stone and its message is passed to mine back here. It can only send one message a day, so make it count." He passes the stone to Thelara. "Good luck, we are all counting on you."
The commodore and his escort leave the ship, the gangplank being removed, as a tiefling standing ahead of the ship begins to use their dancing lights to make small patterns that denote the 60 seconds countdown.
Spoiler contains image of the stones. Item added to Thelara's character sheet:
Aboard the ship Vyserra made a quick stop at her quarters, dropping off her writing supplies and the like before heading back out. As she walked about the ship, she stood tall, greeting the mooks (of whom she always forgot their names... oh well) with a hello and a piercing gaze. She wouldn’t gather them just yet, but she wanted to make it known that she was keeping a very watchful eye on each one of them.
The blond makes it atop the deck, just after the commodore stepped off. She took that as a sign of their departure and made way to find the captain, wanting to stand by their side once they’ve truly taken off.

The crew begins to get into position, ready for the first true flight of The Maiden Horizon. The countdown continues as the Captain Thelara gets ready at the centre of the deck. Pilot Kaala hops into the Spelljamming Helm, the chair that is positioned on the top deck by the traditional galleon helm, and begins to get prepared for takeoff. As she connects herself magically to the ship, she begins to feel the true capabilities of a Spelljamming Helm.
Her perception changes as she begins to feel one with The Maiden Horizon. She can feel the touch of the crew on her top deck, the creak in the floorboards, and the wind bristling on the ship. As the powers become active, the gravity and atmosphere of The Maiden Horizon becomes active, an invisible bubble erecting to contain air that is taken along with the ship, and the gravitational plane active for the crew.
The count gets to its last few seconds, ready for the captain to engage.

Valdayz, who was already on the ship, comes out of his room, affixing a mechanical hand onto his arm.
"We're departing? Finally. I thought we'd never leave."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Valdayz's mechanical hand catches Elyza's attention and she swiftly moves over to it. She lightly taps it while staring at it closely and says, "Fascinating." She reaches a gloved hand forward in an attempt to inspect the attachment more thoroughly.
When Elyza reaches toward the hand, a shock courses through it, giving her a little shock.
"Ah ah ah... no touchy!"
(Changing up the Professor's speech a little. Seems a little more professor-like, no?)

Confused by who the commodore was speaking with, he looked and saw the captain was already standing on the ship's deck.
"Didn't see you there captain. Thought you had succumbed to morning sickness after those fickle relationships you had with different men every night."
Elirdain chuckles behind his helmet as he tells his crude joke regarding her late appearance.
The tiefling co-ordinating the dancing lights then bellows with her voice propelled by thaumaturgy, counting down second by second.

Elyza stops examining the doctor's hand and gets ready for lift-off. "I'll examine your hand later!"
"I guess there's no time for humor too."
Upon hearing the countdown, Elirdain immediately grabs his rope and fastens it to a sturdy structure near him on the deck to act as his harness.
(In response to Elyza's earlier question)
"Some magic, some tinkering, and lots of failures"
The Professor pulls up his sleeve to show Eliza a countless number of scars where the arm meets his body.
He then prepares for liftoff.
