Melody straightens back up, replacing her veil as she does. Bored of Maxwell, she mutters. “Hurry and wake your girlfriend already.”
Seeing Finias with a potential meal, she makes quick strides over toward him, winding up next to Giacomo. Arching her eyebrow, she studies the possible morsels in Finias’ hand, before barking an order. “Eat it. See if it’s okay. I don’t want to get sick on stupid goblin snacks.”
Finias holding up and eyeing a piece of the overripe Goblin fruit hears his mistress walk up behind him... then urge him to try it! The misshapen Dwarf turns submissively towards Melody, "yes indeed my snapdragon, we wouldn't want you to get a tummy ache now, would we?"Finias like glutton lacking any table manners whatsoever thrusts the piece of fruit into his toothy maw, juice spurting out at gulps it down hungrily. Finishing it the roguish jester eyes Melody, lightly rubbing his stomach, feigning distress... "oh dear, its a more sour than sweet, a bit hard to stomach, I don't know if it's for you, dear one, light of my life... you do have a rather delicate constitution to consider and we wouldn't want to cause you distress."
Picking another piece of Goblin fruit, Finias offers it to Melody, "but if you insist, by all means!" Looking past Melody he watches with interest as the others attempt to wake up sleeping beauty.
The fruit itself is as Finias predicted, quite sour in taste, though has bitterness in the aftertaste.
Larry splashes some water onto the damsel's face, she begins to stir slightly. She appears to still be weak, but is now somewhat conscious. "Wh-what happened?" She says, looking to Larry. "Who?"
"Easy now, you passed out on me there. We were discussing where your village was, you weren't very clear on the details. If you could elaborate on where it is that would be wonderful and while your at it could you tell us why exactly your out here anyway? If you're in trouble we can help you, for the right price that is."

“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
Finias giggles at the thought, as predicted, quite sour in taste, though has bitterness in the aftertaste. "MMMmmm bitter," he moans, "delicious," gazing at Melody inviting her with his come hither eyes to try some for herself before slowly walking over toward the others about to question sleeping beauty to listen in on things.
"It isn't far. The elder wanted me to collect some special herbs for tonight." The damsel slowly begins to move, then sees Melody. "S-she attacked me!" She says, backpedalling on all fours slightly, looking terrified.
Giacomo intervenes when the damsel panics at the sight of Melody, "And the rest of us killed the goblins and fixed your tummy. You could call us heroes, yes?. As for her, " tilting his head at Melody, " we'll sort her out later. Now, help us help you. Where is this village, or is it a town?"
The damsel carefully gets to her feet, wincing slightly, though slightly surprised at the pain levels being so low. "I live this way. There are no other towns for more than a day's travel." She beckons for the group to follow her. She seems to be leading them mostly inland (if the beach is south, she's leading the group North-North-East).
Giacomo walks slowly, trying to force the pace to be slow, "A village then. Does your village belong to a larger nation? Does your village elder, or the mayor swear fealty to a higher power?"
As Finias begins to walk with the party, Melody grabs him by an ear, slowing him down to walk with her several feet behind th rest. Quietly, "You seem to be fast friends with this group."
Pcausing, she adjusts her hood and veil, eyes fixed forward on the others. "Do you think we can trust them? None of them have mentioned a plan. And that girl will be a problem." Her words were a husky whisper, and her final sentence was punctuated with a huff.
As they walked, Melody began whistling an odd tune, high pitched and with no discernible tempo.
Logi is still trying to process the damsel's last words.
"A candle's travel? Whatever does that mean?" he asks, glancing towards the sun to determine how much light remains in the day.
"And is it a common occurrence to be hunted by goblins through the woods a day's journey from your home? You must forgive our questions - we only just arrived recently, and have not had the... pleasure... of getting to know the area."
The girl (stopping referring to her as damsel for the meantime) just replies, "You ask many questions. The elders deal with questions, I just help them."
The group continues to follow the girl for what feels like an hour through the smattering of dry grass and large tropical trees, the sun blazes overhead, slowly moving into the afternoon. She finally stops. "The village is just past this tree line." The girl tells the group. "I'll go ahead and let the elder know you are coming. Maybe you should make yourself decent."
Slowing to be behind the girl, Giacomo responds, more for his party than for the girl, "If you do not wish to answer our questions, then there is one last problem to deal with. Melody has made a mess shooting you and the complications of any accusations towards her while we acclimate ourselves to these new lands is not worth our trouble." Giacomo will stab the girl in the back with the crude goblin spear, repeatedly until she is dead, and then some more to make it look like she was struck by many goblins. After her clothing has been thoroughly soaked in her blood, he will strip her and ask for her body to be burned until even the bones are turned to ash. "Leave no corpse to find, lest a shaman or such speaks with the dead and implicates us." Turning to Melody, Giacomo says, "That is the last time I clean up your mess. Next time you indulge in your impulses and create trouble for us, I will be happy to put the noose around your neck and let the locals hang you." Turning to the rest, "Let us head to her village and announce the dire news that this poor girl was beset by goblins. If anyone asks, we cremated her body per our own customs to honor the dead."
As Finias begins to walk with the party, Melody grabs him by an ear, slowing him down to walk with her several feet behind the rest. Quietly, "You seem to be fast friends with this group."
Finias gives a toothy wide smile to this sweet mistress, "yes, everybody loves and admires Finias, how can they not as I am so dashing and witty!"
"Do you think we can trust them? None of them have mentioned a plan. And that girl will be a problem." Her words were a husky whisper, and her final sentence was punctuated with a huff.
Finias shrugs, "oh, I don't trust anyone except you my sweet, as for a plan, there you are wrong, they appear to be following your plan. How very clever of you! Somehow I am sure one of these fine gentleman will finish the job you started. Would not have been my first choice but then Finias is not nearly as clever as any of you."

(Waiting for someone to actually wake her up if anyone is going to :-p )
Checking the damsel's pulse, it appears to be weak, yet stable. She won't die without any further detrimental interaction.
The fruit appears to be a little overripe, but looks edible.

"Our home, Crosthart, is this way." The damsel tells Giacomo. "It's less than a candle's travel, but is not as big as the towns."
