Rustic Hospitality: Since you come from the ranks of the common folk, you fit in among them with ease. You can find a place to hide, rest, or recuperate among other commoners, unless you have shown yourself to be a danger to them. They will shield you from the law or anyone else searching for you, though they will not risk their lives for you.
Darkvision: Thanks to your orc blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Menacing: You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.
Relesntless Endurance: When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Savage Attacks: When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
Fighting Style(Archery): You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.
Second Wind: You have a limited well of stamina that you can draw on to protect yourself from harm. On your turn, you can use a bonus action to regain hit points equal to 1d10 + your fighter level. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Absolutely. You can play what you want =) If you want to play another damage dealer, go for it. I know how to balance a game so that people don't die more than they're supposed to.

If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death.
They're one of the Monstrous races included along with orcs/hobgoblins/bugbears/kobolds/etc. Strangely enough the Lizardfolk are in volo's but not included with the monsterous creatures

Are the recruiting still open? If so I would love to join!
Is there room for a human paladin? if not, and you feel that the group needs for a specific race/class let me know and I will gladly make it! :)
Thanks in advance!
If the recruiting is still open I'll gladly make another character if you'd like to play Paladin, unless we run with two of them... which would be pretty interesting to be honest.

Quite interesting indeed. But no worries! I could make another character that better complements the party. You were first to pick! ;)

Ahhhh I see. So to be clear, you'd be playing a horne and their animal shape would basically be Yuan-Ti?

Y'all do realize that we can have 2 of a single class in the same party, right?
That could be fun, exspecaily if you worship different God's.
Myron Craw- Isles of Famine
I think mild in-party rivalries are a lot of fun, so long as it stays a rivalry and not an animosity.
