Drago finds this process entertaining. Its like fishing over the wall at the carnival. Most of the time you get some mundane trinket or treat but every once in a while you find a real prize on the pole when you pull it out. He starts to wonder if he will get a chance to play.
Of course there is always a chance you are given moldy bread from a week ago. You never know.
Grixx reaches into the darkness. It takes a few moments before he touches anything tangible on the other side, but once he does he immediately recognizes it as being the hilt of a large weapon. He “fishes” it out of the wall and sees what amounts to a terrifying greatsword, nicked and weathered from heavy use in battle, stained with blood of countless enemies, and a good foot longer than the one the barbarian currently carries. Upon a closer look, the zealot recognizes the shield and blade that symbolizes Tempus etched into the base of the blade. The blade emanates a magical essence faintly, but Grixx does not yet understand what it means.
Jury steps out into the hall, nods faintly, and then holds out his hand to accept the weapon for inspection. "It will take approximately 11 minutes, but I will be able to Identify. Caution. Some items of magical nature require further time to become attuned to one's soul. Please be advised." With that, if given the weapon Jury begins examining it through a pearl, and occasional run his own arcane focus up and down its length as if scanning for something.
In the meantime, if Grixx doesn't pick up his original weapon within the next minute or so, Law will drop his current burden off the side, and go take up the weapon. For some reason after, the undead goliath starts making poses with it as well. Poses not unlike those at least once familiar with the usage of such weapons.
(@Lerus The last part was mostly for flavor. For as I understand it, Zombies -- do not get proficiency in either weapons or armor. But can wear/wield them.)
(OOC: I’ll leave it up to Grixx whether the zombie can have the weapon. If so, he can certainly wield it, but attack modifier would only be STR mod, as would the damage modifier).
(OOC: Yes, the wall returns to being just a normal stone wall once the item is extracted. In the map updates, if the swirly symbol has a red dot on the lower right corner of it, it means it has been used up).
Jury begins casting his ritual on Grixx's new blade as the party looks over, curious to see what the Trials have gifted them next. Meanwhile, Law 'practices' with his new Moon-touched sword, Greatsword on the corner. (OOC: Can you add items to the minions you have in the new Creature tab?)
Once done, Jury reveals the weapons properties. First, the blade has been enchanted to deal magical damage to its prey (Greatsword, +1). Second, the weapon won't bestow its boon on just anyone. They must be worthy of Tempus, it would seem (requires attunement).
With that, the party readies itself to keep going. (OOC: Which way do you want to go?)
(@Lerus Sadly not, but I made note of it and temporarily added the weapon with its own note to Jury's sheet)
Jury passes the blade back having spoken his piece, and then addresses the others. "Query: Given the nature of the blade, and the currently lack of duress, do we return to the previous room to allow for the bonding. It is this Jury's recommendation for such, if not to hold up here where there are now only two current points of concern to defend in case of an emergencies."
(OOC: Whether we fast-forward through another short rest to allow for attunement or not, Jury would after recommend continuing on the path to F19, but shift Order to the back of the bus to help Charles guard the flank. Otherwise, same marching order.)

(OOC: Unless anyone has any reservation, we’ll skip ahead this short rest as suggested. Since we had just taken one, I’ll assume no one is rolling hit dice or needs to recover any abilities. Grixx is now attuned to the Tempus Sword. Don’t forget to name it when you are ready!)
Over the course of the next hour, Grixx begins to understand the blade better. He gets a feeling that Tempus’ gift has no tolerance for lesser arms. Tempus will have your undivided attention. Grixx is overcome with an irrefutable unwillingness to part with the sword, keeping it on his person at all times. (Note: While attuned to this weapon, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made with any other weapons).
Drago is studying some of the writings of Tymora as they wait for Grixx to learn about his new blade when said blade passes a little closer than Drago is comfortable with "HEY, watch that thing! You could take someone's eye out with that!"
He settles back into his own contemplation of the meaning of life. Things were moving in predictable directions for him when he was young and he always thought he would grow up in the service of the God Arawai like his father and older brother but after his betrothed was killed in a tragic accident and his brother and father had a falling out things went from bad to worse. Tymora or Lady Luck seemed to be a more appropriate path for the meaning of his life and he has been on a journey to find that meaning ever since.
"So are we ready to move out? I'm getting restless"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Indeed. Let us press on."Jury rises to his full height again, and with little more than a nod, Verdict and Order proceed in the same 10 foot fashion. Jury considers the stone left behind by Law in passing, only to ignore its existence soon after. Verdict for its part is careful, and will try peaking around the next corner first for any danger before flying its way onwards, relaying information as always.
OOC: The name for the weapon will come in time. Really have to think about this one since it is so unique!
Grixx holds the sword tight. He looks into the mark of Tempus.
"I hear you. I understand. I will not fail!"
Grixx marches with a new found purpose. He now knows that his deeds have brought recognition but more importantly more accountability into his actions as he is being watched.
"Tempus hungers for battle! I am ready."
Grixx will fall in behind Order. He is anxious and it is taking every nerve he has to not charge down the hallway. He has to keep reminding himself that Tempus believes in fighting intelligently and that following behind these Zombies is the wise thing to do.
The group moves forward through what basically accounts for a series of sharp turns. Not soon after, Verdict visually identifies a third patch of liquid wall, and can hear the swirl of a fourth behind yet another turn, just a few more feet away.
(OOC: Map will come later today so you can visualize it, but basically, following this southeastern path lead you to two more magic walls really close to each other).
You all feel the urge to interact with them. Who’s up?
"Hey guys, what do you say I try the next wall?"Drago never did like to be left out and steps forward to be the next 'victim' to encounter a wall. I realizes that it is probable that not all 'weird wall' experiences will be positive but he can't help himself. Like a little kid shouting me! me! inside he is anxious and wants to make this his wall! "I mean why not? Yeah? With the third wall around the corner there it seems we can all have a turn" He looks back at Charles and shrugs his shoulders.
Grixx reaches in without hesitation.

Grixx drops his Moontouched Greatsword to the ground in awe of his new weapon. Starting at the emblem of Tempus.
"Tempus has blessed me"
Grixx holds the new weapon gingerly and turns to the group to show what he has found.
"Can any of you wizards tell me why this weapon feels... different?"

With this Tempus blade in his hand Grixx could not care less what happens to his old sword and does not pay attention to the Zombie.
Grixx gives the sword to Jury and waits anxiously.
OOC: The Zombie will now be a light source since the Moontouched gives off light.

Seeing the other's having success with these strange walls, Charles will step forward to the closest one and just observe it.
