She can no longer feel the foe's magic due to the thick stone walls blocking her Detect Magic, but she hopes to serve as a barrier in case the enemy decides to head back the way it went. Lot shoots two molts of fire in rapid succession, hitting the enemy for less of an impact than what the was expecting (Yellow Pillar - CMD: 120). The enemy seems to be struggling to keep its shape. The sorcerer then tries to get as far away from the enemy as he can, venturing into new pathways in the process. Dashing and hasted, Lot manages to get quite far.

The corners of this patch of stonework are still solid, but otherwise, the entire wall swirls as if the rocks constituting it were liquid. It is a slow swirls and Nox seems attracted to it. The Elf approaches, without touching the strange sighting. At just 5 feet away now, he can feel his mind being probed. It is nothing too invasive, and it doesn't seem harmful. It feels almost as if the wall wants to speak with Nox. A few seconds later, letters begin to form on the surface of the liquid wall, in the same earthy orange tone as the floor in the larger chamber, and in the Elvish language.

I use my action to respond? Nox talk back to the wall in elvish while scratching his head with what is just happening. "a normal bow wont damage a floating cloud?"
Dredge snarls as the yellow pillar probes his mind, recklessly attacking while challenging his opponent. “Do you think me a weak willed fool?” The sword comes down.

The eye of the watery tornado caves inwards and away from Nox, inviting him to reach into the darkness. The elf feels enticed to do so and the wall, through its mental connection with Nox, seems to encourage him to reach in reassuringly.
Dredge's slices pass through the yellow one-eyed goo with some resistance. The creature lets out loud, high-pitched cries in a language the barbarian does not understand (Yellow Pillar - CMD: 129).
Karwin (autopilot): After waiting for a bit and hearing Dredge's yells reaching her not only from the pathway in front of her but also from the southeastern door, Karwin will dash south to try and map out this area. Upon coming to an intersection, she picks up the magic of the enemy once again with her Detect Magic, and approaches carefully.

The one-eyed foe, in its despair, will shoot a mass of thick, sticky webbing from the corner of its eye, aimed at its immediate surrounding.
(OOC: The Web covers squares C45, B45, and B46, all the way to the 20-foot-high ceiling. Dredge is caught in it, and must make a {DC 14} DEX saving throw before attempting anything else, including a reaction. On a fail, Dredge would be considered restrained).
The enemy will then move effortlessly through the webbing, straight up. Reaching the ceiling and then moving south a bit (closer to Karwin at this point).
Nox reaches into the wall-whirlpool and grasps something out of the darkness. It is a quiver containing 20 oddly-shaped, elven-made arrows. The arrowheads are not made of metal, but of a delicate stone with a blue hue. The ranger instinctively knows these to be magical arrows (Ammunition, +1), but also realizes that the fragile nature of the arrowheads are likely to lose their enchantment once they hit their target (OOC: as per the item's description, once it hits a target, the ammunition is no longer magical). The wall stops swirling after Nox gets his gift, and becomes nothing more than a normal patch of stone.

Resolving Dredge's reaction: The greatsword slices the creature once more before it can move too far away from the genasi (Yellow Pillar - CMD: 135). The enemy is having a difficult time keeping all of its gooey parts together. Some of the tentacles have been left behind in the webbing.

After equiping the quiver Nox turn around of the source of the scream. Upon returning the room he get a glance of Karwin heading south exit. He follows the samurai.
i am using dash as for my action and my bonus action Cunning action (rogue feat) . Ill chase after Karwin following the sound he makes with his metal armor. (i got 3*35 = 105 movement from where i start)

(OOC @Elite: Welcome back. The only way you can get a visual on the enemy is coming around the same corner you left in the last round. That means you'd only be 10 feet away from it horizontally, and another 20 feet vertically since the creature is currently on the ceiling. Also, you would have to walk through some of its Webbing, so I'll be rolling a {DC 14} DEX saving throw on your behalf here: 20, and again because of advantage due to Haste: 11).
With renewed courage, Lot turns around and runs back the way he came, preparing a couple of Fire Bolts while running. He comes across some webs but is too fast to get stuck in them. Coming around the last corner, he lets loose the two fiery projectiles. One hits the web, setting it ablaze. Another hits its target.
Simultaneously, and just a few feet ahead of Lot, Dredge is already in the process of launching two javelins at the same target. Both hit, one flying through Lot's fire missile on the way (Yellow Pillar - CMD: 151->DEFEATED).
As Nox makes his way around the southern bend, he not only sees Karwin right in front of him, but also the remains of the yellowy enemy falling from the ceiling. A still gleaming and shiny eye now sits atop of a sticky yellow mess in between the four warriors.

Didn’t even have the will to fight.” His chest moves in and out in great heaves as he recovers his breath from the combined stress of haste and his enraged state. As he finally recovers, the ruby embedded in the hilt of the greatsword begins to pulse with a soft red light, as it was when you first met the genasi. He recovers his javelins from the stilled body, spitting on it as he does. “I was told we were here to fight trials. If this is the best that can be offered, then we should have an easy time of it, eh?” He looks around at rest of you, reclaiming the greatsword as he does. “Is anyone even injured? Heh. Not much of a trial, indeed.”
(OOC: First one done, not a scratch. Well done all! I just hope that Dredge’s cocky nature doesn’t prompt a sudden Lich attack or anything of the sort. I’m seriously half-expecting a sudden “roll initiative”)

Haste wears off and Lot collapses due to the sudden Fatigue.
