At the start of your turns, you react to its Rotting Presence, which requires a CON save vs. DC 13 to avoid necrotic damage. Using the generic d20 rolls, Jack and Froskan are able to fight off the waves of ill. The rest of the party takes 4 necrotic damage: Reverie (12 hp out of 36), Trim (32/36), and Isk (29/31, has resistance to necrotic).

Assuming the field would be resistant to cold as the others have, and also suspecting fire would be equally useless against a fiend, Froskan decides to try a ball of acid this time.
Froskan's glob of acid strikes the wall next to the demon, missing. Shortly after, Trim's arrow strikes for 15 piercing damage.
The demon has taken 41 damage total, and is showing significant wounds. Despite its bloodthirsty nature, its self-preservation takes over. It pulls on the door to close it. There is still a narrow hand-width opening to strike at it, but it now has 3/4 cover (+5 to AC).
All party members can post for round 2.
At the start of your turn, make a CON save vs. DC 13. If you fail, your character will take 4 necrotic damage (from the demon's rotting magic aura).
You can attack the demon, or you can try to force the door open (Athletics check), but not both.
Resolving actions in Initiative order. You can post actions out of order. If the demon dies before your turn, you won't take the aura damage.

Regardless of it he hits or not, he will keep the shaft of the polearm in the door to prevent it from closing. Attack: 25 Damage: 6 +2 necrotic dmg
(OOC: I still need a CON save from Iskander, versus the Rotting Presence of the demon.)
Iskander would have hit normally, but the strike glances off the closing door. (With 3/4 cover, the demon's AC is now 19.) He tries to jam the glaive into the opening, but the demon's barbed tail is able to push it away.
