“Yes, of course Sheshka!” Lilyth smiles, going to to the orc and examining her wounds a moment before gently pressing a hand to them, casting cure wounds, healing the orc for 10. “Okay, that’s going to be it for now. Let’s move on, shall we?”

Cora wrung out her clothes as best she could. It was cold and the water didn't help. With her wound healed, and the blood rushing through her veins after the excitement and swim, she was ready to go.
The last time Cora saw Lilly, she hurt her emotionally very badly. She was so happy to see her again, but didn't say much as they began to leave. She wanted to tell her everything. Everything. But, she couldn't. She beat herself up about it for a long time until she was dead inside, until there were no more tears left. But this was the nature of her life. Do your job, and come home. Everything else would be trivial, unimportant. This is what she was told. Violate the rules, and Hell would have her soul.
Feeling like she was already IN Hell, she looked at Lilly apologetically without saying a word, and bit back tears.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(ooc: sorry for late reacting, was little bit ill) Aendar knows, that he's not very good at swimming, but there are no possibilities left, so he prays for the luck and swims with all the power he has. Athletic: 9
The cleric's touch draws a small wince from Sheshka, but the moment soon passes. The healing powers of whatever faith a Vampire can draw on washes over her, fixing her up almost as good as new. "Well..." She begins, staking her spears into the sand "We need to move. Does anyone have anywhere to go? Alante didn't exactly grace us with details..." She gives an exacerbated grunt.
Cora gets up and tucks the two daggers as tightly as she can on her prison pants. She looks around, and can confidently say has no idea where she is. "I wish I knew where to go, but i'm not familiar with these lands.." she admits, annoyed.
Aendar checks if his spellbook is wet, looking at his inside of robe pocket, he always stores it there. “It had better times”, he thinks. "Nooow, what will we do?" he asks looking at his allies, “i don’t have many places to go, but i think at first we need to get to the nearest civilized city”. “Can anybody locate it somehow”, asks he awaiting for any good news.
(hmm looks like Jaqcues is going to be away for a while, alright let's continue)

As you gather on the beach discussing the next move, a billowing of black smoke appears in front of you. Slowly, the smoke becomes the form of a man. It's Alante.
"Good job. Looks like I choose the right people"
Alante reaches inside his priest cloak and draws a roll of large paper and gives it to one of you.
"The artifact I seek is located inside an ancient temple deep in the jungle" He looks at Aendar "Your people call it The Temple of Aclazotz, the temple of Bat Demon of Eternal Night"
"The map shows where the temple is located. You have two options; you can go through along the coast or through the forest. The coast is way faster, but Legion's shore fortresses and patrols are always near. You can avoid them by going through jungle, but the journey will be more arduous."
"Whoa, whoa, wait a second." Cora says, shivering. "Who are you? Why did you free us? What's in this for us? You've got a bit of explaining to do. AND I could use a bath."
"I am Alante, a member of The Order of Five Sacraments; a cult, you may say, inside the body of the Legion. However, unlike the Legion, we wish to approach Ixalan peacefully"
"The artifact I ask you to seek is an item long-sought by The Legion. With its power they can easily make this continent theirs. My Order wish to prevent that"
"Oh, well, nice to meet you, Mr. sighs-a-lot!" Cora glares. "How about a change of clothes? A warm meal? You just can't shove us off, we're not even prepared! I'm only armed with a potato sack and two shivs!"
Alante wipes the sand beneath his feet with a kick, revealing an iron chest buried shallow in the sand.
"When you're captured, I collect all of your confiscated gears and weaponry and hid all of them here. I also included rations enough for four days, enough even if you choose to take the jungle route. Not the most tasty food in the world. Not tasty at all, even, but enough to make your muscles move"
“Thank you for taking us out of the prison, but you want us to go on death mission in a forbidden temple with tons of traps”, Aendar says. “Why do you think that us will be enough for that?”
"Yesterday, Commander Vona himself has sent an elite recon squad to find the temple. He however, have no idea this map exists. I'm pretty sure his seekers are now lost in the jungle. But I'd rather not bet on time. I find it necessary to make the best use of the available time and resource."
"If you think leaving with your head intact is not enough. I'll prepare few coins, so long as you accomplish the task"
Lilyth’s eyes lit up like stars at the sight of the chest, her hands already working on removing the armor she donned for the time being. “Thank Selune, I couldn’t stand wearing this armor. Definitely not made for my figure.”
She listened to the priests answer in regards to Aendar’s question, a displeased look coming upon her face. “It better be a lot of coin,” the vampire emphasized. “Since, as Aendar said, this is a definite death mission. Have an idea of what’s in the temple? What does the artifact look like?”

Sheshka moves to pull the chest up from the sand and collect her things. "What good is an escape if it doesn't end with sacks of coin?" The orc muses. "I'm far more comfortable on the coast and the sea, but I'm not unfamiliar with the jungle lands. Given a choice, I'd rather be on my ship..." She grumbles.
Cora’s eyes went wide as she saw the chest. Relieved, she grabbed her things. Her blades meant more to her than any other weapon. It was a gift from the Commander upon her graduation from the Academy, the only momento she had from that life left over. Everything else was taken from her.
Without shame, she started to undress in front of everyone. She pulled her top off, revealing a very lean, cut, muscular physique. It was clear she was in the military, trained to be a deadly weapon on precision. Her body was littered with scars of all shapes and lengths. She took off her pants, had the legs of someone who must have run across the whole planet twice. Only because it was cold, she dressed up as fast as she could.
She buckled up and strapped in, ready to go. She sighed once, indicating this was much better.
Lilyth wasn't staring. Was she staring? No, no, she was looking right at the chest! Looking at a chest alright. Nope, just a regular WOODEN CHEST.
Clearing her throat (her eyes ripping away from looking at Cora change), she picked up her gear and shuffled her way to a more private area (behind a tree, probably) and changed there. It wasn't that she wasn't proud of her body, or insecure, it was something that was inherently natural for her to do. Also, it was very hot in that general direction and it made her really uncomfortable. Stupid metal.
When finished and now donning her own armor, not wet and sand free (kind of), she walked back with a toothy smile, dropping the chain mail and spear she borrowed right next to the chest then bent over to pick up her mace and shield along with the other things she normally carried. "Much better."

Cora smiled as she emerged from the woods to change. She wanted to make a joke with her. She missed her. Very much. Even in armor she was beautiful. Cora's pulse increased a bit, and she looked down at her feet, smiling, still disbelieving they were together again in a strange circumstance.
"You look great, Lily." Cora admitted, looking up at her, suddenly feeling bashful, which was very unlike her. "Much better than the cold water. I uh..I missed you. Maybe, we..uh, maybe we can talk about..stuff. You and I."
It was almost difficult to look that girl in the eyes without a wave of emotion crashing right into the vampire's face. She mustered up the courage to do sp though, just for the second to say thanks, before her gray hues went back to the sand, right next to the other's feet. "We can. Later, okay? Privately." She gave a glace to the group. "Um, anyways..." She would turn to the priest. "What was it you were saying?"
