K'Dar shouts, "Scatter Formation!" as he himself raised his shield high above himself as a defensive measure(Dodge). Even if it would do little against a ton of stone falling on his head, he hoped at least to alter its course if it came down to it.

War Party B
Three small figures, unidentifiable in the darkness of an autumn evening, let loose a hail of small pebbles from their vantage point atop the rocky formation above you.
As Quavari takes his morning patrol, he encounters one of his fellow soldiers, Whistle. The man is engaged in his favorite pastime, playing a tune on a small copper flute. When he sees the hulking warforged he whips off his steel cap and bows with a flourish.
"Good morning to ye, Quavari!" He puts the flute to his lips and begins to play " My Lass is Waiting with my Heart", a popular ballad among soldiers. When he comes to the last stanza, he takes the instrument from his lips and sings in a thick accent,
"To war I go, and in war I'll die,
But when death takes my soul, no he'll never take my heart,
Aramys says nothing but looks for any cover within range (35 ft.) she might hide behind, and does so if possible. Whether from cover or in the open, the olive-skinned elf takes a shot at the figure closest to her - favouring her left if they're all equidistant.
Aramys lets fly an arrow from a hundred yards distant, burying it in the face of one of the figures. The small form plummets to the earth and is revealed to be a kobold. Aramys then dives behind the only cover to be found for thirty feet - the boulder which the kobolds pushed off the outcropping. She tries her best not to look at the foot sticking out from underneath the stone slab.
One of the kobolds leaps off the cliff, a pair of makeshift wings strapped to his back. Half falling, half flying, he maneuvers himself until he is directly above Neeth, and drops a ten-pound stone on his head.
As Tusk returned with Captain Greensparrow and Hugs, they could see a lizardman waiting for them at the entrance to camp. Unlike the ones they had just fought, this one was clothed in a tabard marked with the symbol of the armies of Light. "Chief Greensparrow. Brothers Hugs and Tusk. I am pleased at your... returning? No. I am pleased you have returned. Yes. Was there any trouble on patrol?" Feldri bowed slightly as the trio passed before following them within. His scales were a dark green that almost blended in with the surrounding swamplands. On his back hung a shield made of bone and hide, contrasting greatly with the obviously forge-crafted mace that hung from his belt. An amulet hung from his neck on a thin but sturdy chain, inscribed with the symbol of the God of the Forge.
"Yes, YOUR kind, lizardfolk, decided to try and kill me AND killed a poor bird, without even eating it! Truly savages! I'm lucky I had on my scale mail."
He emphasizes the fact that they were also lizard folk, but then calms down. Ish.
"Sorry. I do not like it when things assault me. Or the captain. Or anyone else."
"The metal scales do well to hide your fleshiness, brother Tusk. I too consider you lucky, for if you did not have your metal scales, you most likely would have been fallen." Feldri didn't seem concerned at the "your people" remark. "The bird was merely a distraction. A common hunting tactic. An easy meal is set out for our prey, and then as they begin to eat, we skewer them and make them our easy meal. I did not think it could be used on the Children of Light. I apologize for not mentioning it before." Feldri paused to think about something. "The last time I was here, the tribe in this area was the Pab Onureth Tonash tribe. Ambush was a common technique they used."
K'Dar grunts and staggers a step from pebble. He then answers in kind, dropping both Shield and Lance in favor of a light crossbow. Without hesitation, the bolt is sent flying at the Kobold that just dropped its payload on Neeth. With it out in the open, and only makeshift wings to work with, it should -- he hoped it would be an easy target.

Quavari, what seems to be a small snowstorm is heading your way. The morning is still dark and it is snowing lightly, making it hard to identify anything for sure.
Once the four soldiers are gathered in the war tent, Greensparrow briefs you on the latest information."Tusk's latest recon proved successful, and the lizardfolk rumors have been confirmed. Tusk, report!"

The crossbow bolt thuds into the winged kobold's leg with a wet thunk. The creature yelps in pain and scrabbles at the bolt protruding from its thigh.
