OOC: I am sorry, i have not been on very much. I thought this game was dead =( YAY though! Sorry for the delay.
Still holding onto the Hex, she moves it over the nearest creature. Still crying, she summons the blade back into her hand. "Leave me ALONE!" she yells, and attacks 2 times.
Attack: 20 Damage: 10 and Attack: 19 Damage: 13 (Dis. on Strength checks.)
The outburst of Min ends the life of the surprised giant frog that losed its rider under the arrows of Hurosk, the remain hunting party run for their lives as the group of strangers look to each other panting and with the adrenaline for the combat running through their veins.
The stream continues to flow down, the blood of the owlbear, the frogs and the kuo-toa, now mixed with the water...
Still crying, she rubs her eyes, and looks to the group of people that came to her aid. "Thank you everyone... I... You saved me. Thank you. Is there anything that I can do to help? Is anyone injured? I have a... knack for healing."
Min continues to talk, waving her sword as if not realizing and then sees it. In a panic, she drops her blade and before it hits the ground it vanishes.
The raven-tressed kalashtar wipes her rapier blade off on the feathers of the fallen owlbear, watching with satisfaction in her gaze as the spiritual scythe continues to slash at the kuo-toa's corpse. Then she sits on a nearby rock and begins to tie a bandage around her wounded leg. At no point does she make eye contact with anyone. She is rail-thin and maybe five feet tall, with pale skin and serious features.
"Why are you in the wilderness by yourself?"

"Why are any of us," Aryalaris comes from the trees with a smirk on their face. "What in the fresh 9 Hells happened here," they add chuckling as they survey the dead.
Looting the bodies.... Investigation 27; srowing anything interesting out of sight sleight of hand 25
One of the Kuo-toa has a small leather pouch at his side,, it seems that it had dropped when he was hit by the arrows.
(You can slip it in your pockets if you want and check later)
To the untrained eye would had pass unnoticed, but in the corpse of the owlbear, just below the left shoulder, you find a crossbow head. The bolt has broken and the head is still there. There is an infection around the wound. You could try to pull out the head if you want, but that will atract some attention.
(Medicine or Survival check Vs 14 if you want to try)
The greenish-gray skinned half orc emerges from the trees, surprised at the lack of resistance their attackers offered. "I suppose they weren't expecting the like of us. It appears we all have some manner of handling ourselves in a fight."He approaches the kuo-toa he took down to see if any arrows can be salvaged, giving a curious glance at the creature examining the bodies. "As to your question, I have been tracking this beast," he kicks at the fallen owlbear and stoops down to looking for more of his arrows. "Been on its trail for a couple of days now."
Ary puts the pouch in their pocket and moves to the owlbear grabbing a few feathers and recovering their bolt being careful to wipe the goo on the owlbear before stowing the bolt.
"This beast," Ary says smirking. "How do you think it's related with these frog folk," they ask the half-orc with a cocked white eyebrow. "I was traveling and hear the screams," they add next.
Ary is alarmingly pale with shock white hair, and piercing gold pupiless eyes. From the leathers and cloak as well as their tone of voice it's impossible however to discern a gender.
"Why are any of us," Aryalaris comes from the trees with a smirk on their face.
Moltaris curls her lip at the rhetorical reply and says nothing. The kalashtar observes the others, sharing the half-orc's implied surprise that such an effective group - even the screamer held their own in the skirmish - just happened to meet. Her fingers play over the symbol on the buckler she wears strapped to her arm, while her demeanor remains alert and on guard.

The elven warrior looks down at the corpses the brief yet brutal fight created and mutters "Barely worth the energy, they must have expected us to be even weaker than them, and so in their error they die." Lifting his head, and looking at the others he smiles ruefully "This quiet little place is unusually busy, and we all seem to be strangers to one another but perhaps that should not be so any longer, I am Lyreis, of Valenar, this was a different beginning to many but perhaps fate had a hand in guiding us together, not least to save the life of a damsel in distress who seems at least as capable as any of us in martial ability, despite looking as though she should be anywhere but here..." Lyreis pauses as he scrutinises Min, who does seem out of place beside the other adventurers in terms of attire at least. "I admit I was not looking for a party to travel with but the Koa Toa may return in greater numbers once their courage returns and although that may prove a more interesting fight it is one I might not wish to make on my own. It is probably best that we stick together for a little while at least." All the while he speaks the elf cleans the beautifully crafted double bladed scimitar used by the most skilled of the warriors of Valenar, as he removes the last speck of blood from the razor-sharp blades he slowly rotates the weapon until he holds it on open palms in front of him facing the others, then bows his head slightly before sheathing the magnificent weapon on the scabbard across his back.

"Call me Ary. I'm from...lots of different places," Ary says with a curt not at Lyreis. "We should get moving them eh? Anyone pick a certain direction? Finding civilization was next on my agenda today," they add jovially.
Ary finds that there is no part of the shaft of the bolt that they can hold and pull to take it out, they also see that the wound, despite beign infected, has partially healed over the bolt. So they draw their dagger and cut the wound open again. Refraining themself for the foul stench that came out the wound, they use the dagger to pull out the head of the bolt and clean their hands and the steel bolt in the stream while talking to the others.
Picking up her stuff and walking with them, wiping tears from her eyes, she says "I was out here looking for medicines. I was a nurse in the last war. Since then, i have been trying to start an Apothrocary shop and make potions and the like... trying to heal the wounds of the war in water ever small way I can. There are some really good medicinals out here."
Looking to the corpses she says "What are these things? where did they even come from?
"Bad News," Ary replies to Min. "Maybe we should get moving to avoid reprisals," they add moving away from the bodies towards the trees. "Anyone looking for trouble," they add waiting for the party to join them.

"I am just passing through here - not really sure where here is though. I was trying to help out by taking care of that owlbear before it caused anymore trouble than it has over the last few days." Hurosk looks back to the dead kuo-toa. "I'm not sure, but their kind seem to be far from their element."
Ary's warning makes them to start moving following the nearby path that crosses this part of the Woods. In fact the stream crosses it just a few yards later, and the water is still tainted by the blood of their fallen enemies.
They walk more or less together, exchanging some words from time to time but still not really knowing what to think of the others. They spent the next hours waling along the path, under the branches and leaves of the oaks and beechs that cover this part of the Towering Woods.
Somewhere past midday, they see some rocks alongside the path they are following. The rocks, a group of four huge boulders that form some kind of semi-circle, with some other lesser rocks that could provide a good place for sitting or leaning against them, seems like a nice place to rest and have some food. In all these time there were no sign of pursuit from the kuo-toa.
Would you continue walking or will you stop and eat?
As the group continues on their path towards... wherever, the half orc continues to glance behind making sure they are being pursued. He also watches the others in this new group they have formed, trying to piece things together as to why five complete strangers happened to find themselves together.
When they come to the group of rocks, Hurosk quietly nods his ascent to Min's request. "It doesn't appear that we are being followed. A short rest should be okay."
