Lyreis looks at the last dog and at calls to Kyne, "Go, I will finish this one" matching words to deed he darts in slashing wildly, landing two heavy slashing strokes against the creatures flank, ripping it apart. Hurosk and Molly sees the vampire hissing at them. He looks to them smiles and take a step back, just around the corner of the house. They lose sight with him. They do not know where he can be but in that spot there were only the corner between the tower and the house. He must be there hiding.
Hurosk repositions to near to the trees again (F22) to try and catch sight of the vampire that is trying to hide. However, he focuses his efforts on the vampire that seems to have its attention on Mathilda. The shadows that were surrounding the ranger melt away, while his target becomes more clear to him. "What's the matter! Don't you like orc?!" He removes an oiled arrow and fires it along with another quick shot at the she-vampire.
Kyne nods to Lyreis as he fells the final undead hound and runs for the tower, heading around to help the others. Flames pulse and swirl around him as he gathers power for the next battle.
Even with the spell of the cleric giving light to the scene and the growing fire os the stables casting shadows among the trees, the white fog makes the whole area have an eerie feeling.
Mathilda moves quietly and tries to control her heart when she hears that one of the vampires, the woman, is going to go after her. She moves almost crouching in the bushes, getting closer to her friends, and sees the vampire moving throught the trees.
"Come on little mouse "
she says as she walks looking for her, taking careful steps between the bushes
" I know you are here..."
Her tone is like she was sigining, she was closer and closer, Mathilda doesn't dare to move anymore.
" I can smell you... "
She reaches out and moves aside some plants to reveal...
" And I.. got you!!"
The spot where Mathilda was hiding before.
She hisses in frustration and suddenly screams in pain as two arrows stick on her arm. She looks towards Hurosk and tries to hide behind a tree. It doesn't really matter, Hurosk will know where she is, Mathilda can see her from her new position and Moltaris can see her shadow thanks to her spell. In fact Molly sees something else in the corner of her eye, a shadow moving where it shouldn't be none. She looks towards it and see the other vampire. He is crawling through the ceiling of the house, in the side that hangs over the ground, moving fast towards them!
Seb'riel floats over the flaming barn, bringing her arms across her chest so that the fingers join in an intricate symbol over her heart. Though her lips move, she is too far in the the air for any of the sounds to be heard over the roaring sound of the building inferno below. The symbols seem too intricate for a single pair of hands to create though, another glance and it appears several pairs of hands are joined there, each attached to a pair of arms that also seem to attach to Seb'riel, or behind her. As she compeletes the spell she flings her arms outwards, and now not one, but four Seb'riels are now hovering over the space between the barn and the forest. They look down upon the vampire below in unison.
"Is it not as I foretold? You denied me the staff, and now everything will be undone. Your home burns beneath us and your mistress is doomed. You must join us now, shake off the bonds of servitude and reach your potential, or else suffer the fate I have foreseen for you." Her voice echoes eerily, seemingly coming from all four sources at once.

From every pore of the kalashtar priestess of the Bright Mother, fury radiates as she strides forward from the treeline to stalk the undead minions. Where Seb'riel's movements are lovely and intricate and exotic, Moltaris' are curt and violent.

While it stares, shocked that the kalashtar could still see it, she flicks her fingers again, and the scythe of force floats to the fanged vermin and slashes into its form!

Mathilda's blood almost freezes in her vains when the vampire seems about to find her. It can smell me?? A second later, she realises it is at her previous hiding spot. Oh thank God! Seizing the moment, Mathilda turns quietly and takes another holy arrow, aiming right at where she was hiding before. She sees the vampire through the leaves and hears it hiss in frustration - and fires. The arrow finds its target and Mathilda can hear the vampire shriek. Quickly, she ducks back behind the tree and, holding her breath, creeps through the undergrowth to a new hiding spot. I hope the others are okay, I can't see where the other vampire went.
Lyreis continues on with his furious sprint to rejoin the others, moving off after Kyne the elf's feet barely touch the ground as his natural poise and dexterity let him cover a great distance quickly. Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
Mathilda's arrow finds its mark and the woman shrieks in pain
"So... the mouse has teeth..." she hisses.
Moltaris see how the other vampire jumps down the cellar and runs towards her, using both legs and arms as if he was some kind of wolf or great feline. He jumps towards her, his claws in front of him, his mouth wide open showing his fangs to her. She remembered the feeling of the Mistress on her neck. The cold feeling of beign drained, not only of her blood, but of her own esence. She felt her legs tremble but just for a moment. "No" she thought to herself "not again. Never again" In the last second she raised her shield and felt the impact of the vmapire against her, but she hold her ground.
"Come on!"she heard the vampire and peeked to him under her shield. He was bleeding from his nose. Apparently he has broken it against her shield.
Hurosk, smiling seeing the vampire bleeding, notches another arrow, and then he suddenly hear it.
The rushing steps of creatures coming towards them against the ground of dirt and leaves of the forest. The breaking sound of branches of bush as bodies crosses them. The wind swifts slightly and he can smell the fur of the ones that are approaching fast. He turns around and he can see almost a dozen creatures moving in the mist towards them. He recognizes them. Wolves.
Since the she-vampire hasn't had any luck engaging with one of his companions, Hurosk opens fire on the vampire trying to attack Molly, also wanting to make sure the creature doesn't have a chance to regenerate any of its wounds. He pulls another oiled arrow out and takes careful aim not to waste the valuable missle. WIth it striking true he fires a second shot.
As he runs back to the east (w20), he calls to the mage floating above the house. "We have a pack of wolves coming our way!"he points to the western treeline. With the she-vampire marked and unable to hide, the ranger focuses his sight on the other to ensure he can track it should it flee.
The vampire woman gets hit by the arrows both of Mathilda, she screams in pain and looks around, furious, trying to see Mathilda but she is looking too fast around and the girls keeps really quiet and the vampire seems not to see her.
She moves around one tree, trying to hide herself, but, without knowing where Mathilda is she just put herself in perfect line with the rogue. She can fire at her back without hindrance.
Hurosk makes sure the vampire attacking Molly doesn't forget him. He grunts in pain with an arrow stick in one leg.
Lyreis and Kyne run around the tower as fast as they can, trying to catch with their friends. They barely hear Hurosk's voice shouting something about wolves, but that cannot be good..
Seb'riel glances over her shoulder at the wolves, but keeps her attention on the vampire for now. She, or rather four of her, hurls a ball of fire at the vampire beneath her, but it lands harmlessly at her feet. She curses her lack of focus and reminds herself that she is above such emotions as anger and fear and attempts to dispassionately refocus her attention on the battle at hand, ignoring what she knew would be coming from the tower.
Molly waves her spiritual scythe closer to her, and it makes a long swooping slash at the vampire attacking her!
As it hunches over to hold its broken nose, though, it ducks under the attack, and the cleric's lips tighten in frustration.
"I promised you that, if you came to me, I would give you rest. Prepare to meet the blessed rest offered by the Bright Mother - be gone, spawn of parasitic darkness! FLEE FROM THE LIGHT!" She brandishes the amulet around her neck, a radiant mother wreathed in flame, and its glow outshines even the Daylight as it lashes out and seeks to unmake the undead minions. The necromantic will holding them together is too great for the young cleric's prayer to disrupt, but the divine force is enough to drive them into terror!

The two young vampires can't whistand the divine power the cleric canalizes and even the fog seems to disipate around her like a stone trhown at the surface of a lake, as the holy light shines for a second in the forest.
Faced with this sacred power, wounded and with the soaring pain of the holy oil on their wounds, the vampires shriek and turn away, running towards the tower.
They all can feel it. As soon as the light fades off a great feel of anger and frustration covers them and an intense cold can be felt.
The door of the tower, where the two vampires run towards, suddenly cristalizes and it explodes in thousands of pieces of iced wood.
The Mistress Vampire stands tall in the now destroyed frame of the door. Her dress and hair still moving from the force of the magic she has used to destroy the door. On her right hand Seb can see the staff she saw when she was trying to escape.
"HOW DARE YOU!" she says."You will pay. I'll kill all of them " she says looking to Moltaris "But you... you are going to serve me!"
When the vampire appears so close to her, Mathilda holds her breath. This is it. She found me - wait. The rogue realises that the monster does not know she is there, right behind her, hidden in the shadows. Silently, she draws her arrow and aims between the vampire's shoulder blades. She stands up, ready to turn and run. Mathilda takes one shallow breath and fires. Immediately, she spins around and darts away as fast as she can. She zigzags around a few trees and spots a tall oak tree. Trying to lose the vampire, she climbs up into its leafy crown where she tries to catch her breath. Tensely, she listens, waiting to see if she escaped the monster.
It is up in the tree that she hears the familiar voice of the lady by the lake and - dogs? No, wolves. A cold feeling of dread comes over here. We can't deal with all of those at once. We are going to die here... he promised to help us, where IS he? Mathilda surveys the ground from her perch. With one last holy-oil arrow remaining, she knows she will soon run into trouble.
Lyreis run as fast as he can when he hears Morlainne has appeared. Looking to Kyne the two elves share an unspoken question. "Where is Lord Thrinderand?". Fearing a set up, they cross the distance fast as the breeze, barely touching the grass. The warrior even sees the remanins of the door in front of him.
A strong howl pierces the night as the alpha wolf, a big dire wolf who leads the pack, rally the wolves to charge forwad. They are approaching to the companions fast, growling and showing their teeth in anticipation of the carnage.
Morlainne descends the small steps that leads to the tower, ignoring the broken wood and ice that covers them. She takes a few steps towards Moltaris and Hurosk.
She seems taller, bigger than the last time they saw her. More imposing. It seems that she looms over the place. It's both beautiful and terrifying to see her.
The staff on her right hand creates a white mist that swirls around her, moving her red dress and her black hair, the pale light of the moon penetrates the fog giving her an eerie halo. Her eyes illuminted by the same blueish light that emanates from the cirstal that is fixed at the top of the staff.
She grins and Mathilda can see her fangs.
"Enough"
Lord Thrinderand voice is as calm as ever, but much more imposing.
She turns, surprised, to see the vampire standing right behind her, his greatsword held in one hand. He kicks her and send the vampire flying five feet backwards. She hits the ground and the world stops. The wolves suddenly quiet. The other two vampire spawns petrified seeing her Mistress falling. The companions hold their breath.
But Morlainne isn't finished yet. She stands. Not moving a muscle, her whole body shifts position and stands.
Grabbing the staff with both hands she almost spit.
"No. I will never yield to you. Not again. You will kneel to my power. NOW!!"
The hate on her voice is palpable.
A burst of snow and ice comes from the staff, its crystal glowing with the blue light. The ice and snow covers Lord Thrinderand, who tries to protect himself with his sword.
He takes one step forward. She keeps using the staff against his will. He takes another step forward. Morlainne's face reflects her incredulity that he is still approaching, resisting the magic of the staff. She screams and the blue light blinds all for a second.
Blinking the companions look to the scene to see with horror the figure of their ally frozen in place, blocked in frozen ice, the sword still risen.
Morlainne looks at it, with a mixture of incredulity and joy. She laughs, histerically, and turns towards Moltaris, Hurosk and Mathilda.
Seb brings her mind back into the present. She feels nothing at the sight of Morlainne now. She calls out as the vampire appears. "Well that could be hurtful, I break your captivity, offer to serve your enemy to you, and you reject me. Now when you do appear it's her you want not me? Even after I brought your enemy here, you have no words for me?"
As Thrinderand is frozen she calls out a warning to the others. "The staff is not the source of the spell, merely a focus she is using to cast it herself. Hit her hard and break her concentration."
Her arms are already preparing a spell of her own, but she finds time to add "Not that he needed our help at all."
"That doesn't sound good..." Kyne mutters to Lyreis as they sprint around the tower.
The elf rushes about the corner and his eyes narrows as he sees Morlainne with Thrinderand in frozen in front of her. He twists on the spot, hurling three blasts of fire at the vampire mistress. The first one strikes true, but the second flies far over her head and the final scorching ray fails to penetrate the icy mist surrounding her.
"You!"Morlainne attention is turned to Seb'riel. "You traitor. I will savor your blood... "
Hurosk turn towards the charging wolves and tries to disrupt it. Throwing an arrow towards them he utters some magical words and when the arrow hits the ground it makes several wooden spikes sprout from the ground, wounding the wolves.
The alpha looks at the ranger and charges toward him, ignoring another arrow that penetrates his side.
Morlainne laughs at the fire attack from Kyne, as if the flames only tickle her.
