Finding the coin Glynquinal calls out to his party with great contentment, "Well now, Electrum in the pot. Things are looking up for sure...well, for us at least. Not for that poor soul.", looking to the bleeding Redbrand in the corner. "Who is this Glassstaff you mentioned? A wizard?"
The Redbrand leans on the wall, his eyes seeming to not be able to focus. "Glassssstafffff isssss a wizzzzzard." He suddenly starts coughing. After a few seconds of that, he finally wheezes, "I don' feel so good." His knees buckle and he slides down the wall, collapsing in the corner.
If the Redbrand has fallen unconscious, the Herr Doktor Professor takes his scimitar and plunges it into the cooling body of one of his fellows. He then returns the weapon to the unconscious man's hand.
"With any luck, if his companions find him they will believe he started a fight and killed his own comrades. They might even execute him for us.
"Where to next," the Herr Doktor Professor asks. "We should continue moving while we still enjoy the element of surprise."
Glynquinal agrees, "I like the idea of surprising whoever waits for us. That gives us an easier path to walk. Lead on friends, let us discover what we may of this place"
Waiting until nobody else is paying attention to the wounded Redbrand Glynquinal will draw one of his daggers, and dispatch him quietly with a discreet wound to the side of his chest near his heart.
"We should rest some are injured, some need to recharge their abilities, plus we have a wizard to kill, any thoughts on that, other than he does first and we take our chances, there is still that unknown creature with the things on it face we need to find and kill!"
Glynquinal frowns on hearing the word wizard. Even a minor wizard can have a devastating effect on those with no defense against the arcane arts.
To his friends Glynquinal says, "For this encounter we must have a plan. We need to know how many are against us, where they are, and some knowledge of what they are capable of would be good too. I'm willing to scout as needed and I would think Ian would as well. We have to go prepared into that engagement."
The Redbrand is indeed unconscious ... and bleeding quite badly.

But his eyes flutter open as Herr Doktor is taking his shortsword (not scimitar). He looks at the bard with confusion. "Wha' are you doin'?" he mumbles weakly.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," the Herr Doktor Professor says, shaking his head sadly.
"I'm taking your weapon to keep you from hurting anyone else. Don't you remember? It seems your love of ale has impaired your memory. You started a fight with your comrades while gambling. We burst in here to try and stop the fight, but it was already too late.
"The Glasstaff will be very angry when he finds out.
"Why don't you tell us exactly where he is and how to get to him from here," the Herr Doktor Professor suggests with a big smile, as if he'd just thought of the idea, "and we'll tell him that these other ones started the fight. That will get you off the hook!"

"Oh," the Redbrand says, the word trailing into a sigh. He looks around the room blearily, what he can see of it, but his eyes settle on the body of the (black) Redbrand, which he can see past Rock's legs. "Oh no," he says. He looks up at Herr Doktor. "No, don't tell Glasstaff," he protests weakly. "He ... he won't be happy. He'll be mad!" he says with big eyes. "We ... we can hide the bodies. We can put them in the crevasse. It'll look like the gnothic got them." He attempts to stand. (Do you let him?)
"Get lost?" the man asks, squinting a little at Herr Doktor. When Rock asks about the gnothic, the man looks up at the dragonborn, his eyes focusing and refocusing. "It's hideous," he almost gasps. "One ... BIG EYE!" he says, holding his hands up in front of his face and using his fingers to indicate a large, round shape. He puts his hands down. "It reads minds, and ... and it knows things," he whispers. He then looks back at Herr Doktor. "Hey, where's your scarlet cloak?" he slurs.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
''We're new recruits," the Herr Doktor Professor tells the Redbrand. "We were hired by this guy."
Using Minor Illusion, the Herr Doktor Professor unrolls a scroll with a charcoal-drawn image of the Redbrand the party captured back in town (the illusion created is the scroll with the drawing).
"This guy," he repeats. "He told us to go see the Glasstaff and get our scarlet cloaks, but he gave us lousy directions. Help us out by telling us how we get to see the wizard."

"By the way," the Herr Doktor Professor adds, "if we throw those bodies down into the crevasse, will that nothic thing come out to eat them?"
"I have heard of a floating eye creature call a beholder it can do many think and usually work for a higher powered being like this wizard or some type of demon, they can read minds and talk over some distance, some say they can shot beams from there eye, some have one big one and some also have extra of stocks like snails, I have been told that there are hard to kill and must be stabbed in the center eye to have a chance to kill them. But I have never seen one they say they live deep below the ground.
The Redbrand looks at Rock patiently as he talks about beholders. When the dragonborn finishes, the Redbrand blinks a couple times and then looks back at Herr Doktor. "Glasstaff should be in his workshop or maybe his quarters. Through the door and across the hall." He throws a thumb over his shoulder indicating north. "As for the nothic, it hides. It might be in the crevasse, it might be behind one of the columns. But it likes meat. Raw meat. They threw that carpenter from town down there. It's been feasting on him for a few days. Then they brought his family here and put them in the cells. They're planning to sell them soon."
Glynquinal hearing the horrible fate of the town carpenter does his best to hide his anger. Finding out there are other family members still alive offers some small glimmer of hope, but the thought that 'every single Redbrand needs ended' crosses his mind'
Glynquinal looks to his large companions, "Rock, Gruxx...if it likes raw meat, we do have plenty of Bugbear meat on hand. Perhaps we could arrange a 'feast' for the beast. Draw it in and end it before it can do anything like this to another soul, If you two are willing to do a bit of hauling."

"A wizard..." Gruxx moans. "Coward magic user! Afraid to stand and fight. We need to be upon it quick and cut out it's tongue!"

"Who must rest and who will scout and guard"
Rock will need rest to get his rage back under control, as will Grux who has got a light ouchie

"We will take care of the bodies," the Herr Doktor Professor tells the Redbrand, putting a firm hand on his shoulder. "You stay here and rest.
"But we still need to tell the Glasstaff that the nothic ate his men. How do we get to his room again? We wouldn't want to get lost."
