One moment you are surrounded be screaming crowds and bright lights, and the next you find yourself in a bare stone room as the game mages transport you to the predetermined dungeon along with three other rival gladiator teams. Your task is simple: outwit, ourfight, and outsurvive your opponents to claim the gold crown and earn the name of champion.

Zeuphis jumps slightly, and then relaxes when she realized what’s happening.
”I wouldn’t exactly say I serve him, but my bloodline is tinged by Lathander the Morninglord. I was chosen by him to spread the light of his justice."
Zeuphis appears mostly human, with tanned skin and shoulder-length auburn hair. Only a slight radiance that seems to come from under her skin betrays her celestial heritage. She wears no armor, but her clothes shine with a glistening protective barrier (mage armor). She carries no weapon other than a dagger, but wears a pouch on her belt. Her eyes seem to glow with an inner power, promising swift radiant vengeance on any who would dare to oppose her.

"I see、so you and I are the same then."Garazar whispers into Zeuphis' mind. A smile comes across his face and he gives Zeuphis a polite nod. His dragon staff begins to emit a slight but benevolent glow.
"Greetings, friends! I am Zeph, the greatest gladiator in both land and sky! Shall we begin? We can work out who takes what positon as we go. I prefer my bow, but I am no stranger to the blade." The aarakocra bowed slightly during his introduction. The tips of his brown feathers were dyed blue, a strange contrast to be sure. Zeph is clad in leather armor, with a shield slung across his back between his wings. On one hip is a rapier, and on the other, a quiver of arrows. His bow is already strung and slung over his shoulder, ready to leap into his hand at a moment's notice. A closer examination of his person would reveal two daggers tucked neatly into his bracers, allowing him to draw both at once if need be.
You stand in a large, rectangular stone room. A rope ascends to a balcony hanging from the south wall, and several pieces of broken glass are scattered about the floor. There is an archway beneath the balcony and a door in the eastmost corner of the south wall.
The Dungeon: The dungeon was created centuries ago by dwarven miners, who later abandoned it under mysterious circumstances. The walls are made of smooth stone, and the floors were once beautifully crafted of flagstone but are now cracked. There is very little natural illumination, requiring either darkvision or a light source.
Peeking outside the room through the southeastern door, Zeph swore under his breath. "Do any of you have a light? I can't see anything in this blasted darkness. A handicap, to be sure, but we do want to give everyone else a fighting chance, no?" Even as he said this, he adjusted his bow in favor of his rapier and shield. Close combat would be more likely than ranged at this time.
Garazar hits the ferule of his staff on the ground and it begins to emit a light. (He casts Light on his staff.) The silver image of Bahamut on his staff begins to glow a bright light.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Upwards it is!" Zeph stepped out of the small room and beat his wings twice before taking off towards the balcony. Landing near the rope, he looked to see what was further beyond.
Perception (with disadvantage, due to dim light I presume): 15

Garazar mumbles a short prayer to himself、 "May Bahamut guide me on this path、 and aid my comrades."
Zeuphis will spend her prep time in meditation, then cast bless on all 4 of her team (using a second level slot),

Garazar speaks into Zeuphis' mind, "Whom do you serve?"

Upon opening the wooden door you are greeted by the salty scent of a briny sea. Beyond is a small, empty alcove.

"Does anyone else smell that?" Zeph stuck his head into the room, looking around for anything of interest.
Zeuphis will stay back slightly in case of trouble.

Zeph cannot identify the source of the strange scent nor can he discover anything else of interest in the tiny alcove.

Behind the balcony is a bare stone wall. The only access point, it appears, is the rope which Zeph climbed.

Garazar speaks into Zeph's mind again' "Will you fly up and see what awaits us? I will pray for your Guidance."
Zeuphis will stay back with Garazar.
