I look into the distance uneasily after what I did to the kobold. The feeling of becoming unhinged terrifies me. Am I starting to lose control? This isnt like me to snap like this. Looking at Jonathan I see that he is in need of healing. I place my hand on his shoulder and chant softly . Warmth moves from my hand into him.
Nodding at Jason I ride ahead with Thalica .Having to be alert helps me push back my troubled thoughts for now .
As the scouts come int oa small glade in the tress so does a group of Hobgoblins. Both sides are a bit surprised to see the others and they react. The Hobgoblins react quicker and move into combat with the scouts. Ghost is hit for 4 damage Thalica is hit for 6 Rachel however is missed.
I will need combat actions from the scouts. The rest of the party hears the sounds of combat a bit away and north of you. It will take you four rounds to catch up with your scouts.
Startled to see the hobgoblins I call out to Thalica ." Run, run away. Come on ." I will race away on Ghost back towards our friends. While riding I will keep up with Thalica and make sure she doesn't get left behind.
Putting heels to hide, I ride forth, ready to engage the foe yet again!

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
I follow Grant keeping an eye out for other patrols and such as we ride, bow in one hand reigns in the other I'm ready to jump off at the first sign of an actionable target.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
On the way to the sounds of battle, I loosen my great sword and get ready to leap into the fray, literally, once we've determined what we are up against.
Initiative 21
The intention is, unless we face a horde or such, to Jump off the horse and onto the closest enemy for the DFA. I'll wait to roll until we engage.

Hearing Jason say that the scouts need our help and the faint sounds of combat, I put Easy Spirit into a gallop as we dodge in and out of trees of the thick forest. I keep an eye out for anything that might come into our path as we head towards Rachel, Ghost and Thalica.
As you all head north you see Rachel and Ghost following behind Thalica with a group of hobgoblins right behind them as one stops now and then to loose an arrow at them.
Ghost is hit with an arrow for 5 damage and Rachel is hit for 6. The horse Thalica is riding has taken a couple arrows and is not doing so well.

Shifting to the most likely spot I can see to get a sightline on those pursuing the scouts, I stay in Morgenstern's saddle for now and level my crossbow, opening fire as soon as I have a shot.

Travis sees Rachel, Ghost and Thalica pursued by a group of Hobgoblins. Rather than ride straight into the group, he enfilades, his horse to the right. He attacks, the Hobgoblins once in range, who enter the fray on his left, with a spell.
He decides, to not use his light crossbow. Instead with a flourish of his hands he conjures up a large monstrous centipede. The large monstrous centipede, makes a full attack on the nearest Hobgoblin, within range. Attacking, the advancing Hobgloblin group from the left of Travis. Travis, himself staying hidden among the trees.
Grimacing in pain as I'm hit by an arrow I duck down lower trying to avoid harm. Seeing my friends up ahead puts a grin on my face. " Let's get them Ghost. Turn around . " Ghost wheels around deftly and charges into the hobgoblins with great force . Im swinging with reckless abandon as we seek to put an end to them.
I wont turn around until the others arrive. I'll time the attack to hit at the same time as the others. Add 6 to each roll . @Kyrroeth game_die Result: 4d20 (19, 8, 13, 4) Total: 44

The Hobgoblins continue to chase after Rachel, Ghost and Thalica. As you see them approaching the Horse Thalica is riding collapses throwing her off. (Saving throw to avoid hitting the ground badly- reflex DC 15). As Rachel sees the others riding hard to meet with the Hobgoblins she has Ghost stop fleeing and turn around to meet the Hobgoblins. She meets the Hobgoblins as the rest of the party meets them and a fight ensues.
I have some combat rounds for the battle so if you did not real initiative or combat stats please do so. Plus any special plans for or during the battle to include spells.
Ive, done my action and movement already in post #54, for this round. Which included,a maneuver while on horse back. Also, Travis casting a spell towards hobgoblins at same time.
However, didn't include initiative rolls which are here:
Seeing Thalica fall, I can't help but nudge Morgenstern forward at a walk in her direction, still firing, but now focused on shooting anyone that threatens her.
Thalica for her part manages to roll as she hits the ground with a fair amount of grace and continue running. As soon as she reaches cover behind Jonathan and Rachel, if not badly wounded she will turn and add her arrows to our offense
Fortunately the horse should've at least given her enough of a headstart to make them catching up unlikely. Rolled 21 for Q's reflex save in discord. Making 2 rounds worth of attacks for her (using Rapid Shot for 2 shots per round at a -2 to hit penalty) Attack: 10 Damage: 9 Attack: 15 Damage: 5 Attack: 10 Damage: 8 Attack: 23 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
I get Easy Spirit settled and then get into the saddle and head out once the hobgoblin is dead. I continue to keep and eye out for danger.

Thalica is quick to turn her horse around and follow, dodging in between trees as best she can.
Upon hearing the sounds of conflict, I spur Morgenstern forwards, "Come on, they will need our help!"
Putting heels to hide, I ride forth, ready to engage the foe yet again!

I missed all my rolls I did on the other thread. I am not going to be much help for the group at all..even my Initiative was the same as all my rolls.
