I grin at her greeting and blush slightly at the deference shown. " Thank you Tea would be lovely. " Once tea is served i will inform her of what we are looking for. " We are but newly arrived here in this kingdom. My friends and i are emissaries for another land and we need clothes worthy of audience with all the lords and ladies here. We want something that is fashionable here but with touches of our culture. "
I smile at her and examine the fabric available. This is the first chance we have had since being in this world of real shopping. " I desire something that is fashionable but leaves no doubt that i am a druidess. Probably something in a forest green... I want it to reveal some cleavage and some leg if that isn't offensive to the nobility here. Probably two of these dresses with some variations and different shades of green. All depending upon price of course. " I turn and look at my friends and then back to her. " My friends have their own requests for clothing. They will tell you more of what they wish individually. " I turn to them again. " If anyone needs any help i will be glad to help you.."
"As far as my own needs go, I would have to see what passes for nobility and diplomatic wear before I could select something suitable. I'd to incorporate what I call a 'cravat' into the neckline, as well as possibly a wide cross-body sash as accents, but it will have to go with the appropriate style. With that in mind, what kind of prices are we looking at, so I know how much we'll need to set aside?"
OOC - I don't know how involved we are going to get n this, but what I'd like is just that - suitable diplomat formal wear with Earth-style accents. I'll make note of other styles as well for later use with the Disguise Self spell, in case infiltration is needed.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
At Rita's tailor shop Rita serves you all some tea as she listens to what you desire to have. Rachel's dress she can do easily enough just how much leg does the Druidress wish to show. She can do a modified riding dress that has the slit up the side to show as much or little as she desires. The green fabric she shows you is a nice forest green but she has some other greens to look at. From a light green to a sea foam green to a grass green with a couple more shades in. The amount of cleavage that will be showing is generous to say the least once she has the druidress remove her armor. She will look at Vickie too to see what type and style of dress that she wants. As far as the gentlemen she has you sit down as she undresses the ladies from their armor down to their shifts if they have any. If not she will eye their bodies a bit before getting them a shift that will fit them to go under the dress.
Jason goes in search of a particular shop and is told that one is to the south eastern part of town just look for the mage tower. He can see a slim tower rising to the south and east just beyond the city walls. As he makes his way to that location I need to know if any go with him?
I eye the fabric with pleasure. " Rita..that dress you describe sounds perfect. I would like another one in the sea foam green as well. The riding dress with a slit in the side... hmm...I would like the slit to come up to just above my knee. That should be fine. " I look at her and smile. " What would these two dresses run me?"
OOC: I am not sure how detailed you wish to get You can skip the rest of the scene for me and move to the others if you wish. Please let me know the cost of the dresses though.
Happily ordering two slightly different suits, I head back with the others to the inn. Once there, I’ll relax and have a light lunch(dinner?) and see what the others have found.

I thank Rita for the tea as I sip it looking at all the wonderful fabrics in the shop, I look at some of the greens, yellows, various shades of purple.
I decide on getting another shift made and 2 dresses in a light green with forest green accents as well as on in varying shades of purple.
I will get half of the coins out once the order as been placed and will pay the rest when they are done; if Rita is agreeable to those terms.
Walking out of the shop i am still beaming about the gowns. " Well, that made my day. Finally get to do something like that in this place. " I study our surroundings closely. " Where to everyone? We can't do anything else for now regarding the reaaon we came here. Any ideas? "
"Let's go over to the guard building, where ever that is, and see about making contact with the officer there. We still have a lot of daylight left." I say, as I use the disguise magic to style clothes suitable for local semi-formal wear.

" Sounds good to me. " I will go with Grant and whoever else goes to see the guard. " This is all very exciting honestly. Someithing a litrle different than our wandering in the wilderness. "
As everyone is done with the tailors shop they head back towards the main market place and some possible shopping as others head towards the main guard headquarters across the market place.
OOC - I will remain with the group from the tailors as we head to the guard building, unless a different destination is suggested. Gathering everyone together is best before we approach the officer.

Yes I just need to know who is going where and for what they may or not be doing or looking for at this time. The only one not there when Bastion gets back is Rachel as she is occupied elsewhere. But yes Jason sees the others.
I wave to the others in the marketplace, "Greetings! Those maps we needed are being drawn up. As a bonus, I got some good intel, and a head start on an invitation to the council. How did the meeting with the tailors go?"
"We're looking at eight days of waiting for all the outfits we've ordered. You should get in there and get sized for something as well. If you've bypassed some of the bureaucracy, that's a relief! What's our next step?"

Travis, is happy with the cost of his tailored suits and heads back to the Inn for some food also.

Rita is agreeable to half now half on delivery of the dresses suits. She tells you that it will be eight days to get it all done.
I thank her and state that if what is in the shop is an example of her work; I look forward to seeing her fine work in 8 days.
In my mind I'm glad that I will have some time to explore more of the city and possibly make some contacts here.

Meanwhile, Travis has a good look around through the marketplace. Seeing, if he can spot any herbalist or alchemist shops.

My business at the mage tower concluded, I keep making my way towards the inn through the main market
Can I assume that we spot each other one way or another?
