The dire jackal remains, sniffing and watching cautiously. The bat disappears into the ruins, out of sight, weaving between ruined buildings to see if there's another entry/exit.
Avan does not find any other exits during his flight as Rivoril takes the flask of oil and pour it on the downed troll. Soon you are able to light a torch and then kill the last Troll hunter.
Everyone relaxes as the troll hunters are now dead.
Bastion lowers his blade, but does not put it away quite yet. He glances the newcomer's way from time to time, but is more focused on making sure the tunnel further in is clear. "We need to ruin the major bones of these three, I have no particular desire to fight them again after the necromancer is done with the things."
Addressing Kixarn he says, "The oil is appreciated, we've had a lot of things to burn lately, we've been running low. What brings you to such a forsaken place as this?"
Still eyeing the construct with interest, Kizarn responds "I've been told that this area is rife with undeads, and that why I'm out here. Last villiage told me you were out here, so I came to help. I need a group to support. I also can make these fire bottles, given materials and time. Trolls common around here, too? A necromancer is around? Also..." As a demonstration, he puts his hand into the flames of the fire and the energy of it washes around his fingers, undamaged. "It part of my heritage, for normal fires."

"It seems to all be the same threat. A female figure with necromantic skill appears to lead a mixed group of marauders from these ruins. We've faced ogres, trolls, orcs, and human bandits, along with zombies and skeletons of the same. The living are sent after the nearby village by day, and the dead by night."
Bastion looks up as he hears something above, "Now what?"
With this animal form lasting for 6 hours and far more advantageous to his human self, and with nothing to add to the conversation, Avan hadn't changed back. He swiftly turns around lighting fast not having expected something else in the air behind him.
Seeing the streak zoom through the air, Kix wonders if this is a threat beyond his scope. Still nervously watching all the strange people, he prepares to let the package land at his feet.

As the packages land at your feet and everyone else's feet they open up to reveal your favorite meal from when you were a child. Bastion yours opens up to reveal a kit. Do you chose to eat or use the gift?
Bastion watches the packages drop and open wordlessly. After studying the results for a few moments, he says, "I must say this is bizarre. Have any seen the like?"
Eyeing the package like it contained a strange reptile, Kixarn looks at the others and says “How would you know my childhood meal was beer battered fish with potatoes? What magic is this? I don’t know you, do I?” He seems more than a little worried, huddling defensively in his cloak.

Bastion eyes Kixarn in turn, "No, and this certainly isn't our doing. We don't even know your name, let alone anything about your past."
"Speaking of which though, I am Bastion, a warrior and tactician. The huge bat that flew off a moment ago is Avan, he's a shapeshifter and wielder of natural magics. The jackal is Avan's semi tamed beast. I'll let the others introduce themselves."
"I'm Kixarn, or Kix. I'm hunter for undead and demons, but I don't work well alone. Guides back in town said you were here, so I came. I help with magic, as I can, but I'm not bad with alchemy and sling, too." Still not quite sure what to make of the imprompto meal, he lifts the steaming plate and sniffs it. "You think this okay to eat?" A slight water forms in his red-tinted eyes as his nose brings forward memories "This smells like that I ate when my mother & I celebrated month-ends. I remember too few of these, before my father took me away and killed her."
Tentatively, he takes a small bite, and a tear escapes down his cheek. "Tastes like it, too."

Arilynia seeing the nicely grilled ribeye steak and veggies with a baked potato covered in butter. Is a bit surprised to see such a fine meal this far out in the wilderness. It reminds her of the meals she had when younger and a tear or two fall from her eyes. As she eats her meal, she will offer tastes of to the rest of the group, even the stranger. If she had not stated who she was before, she would do so now and say that she was Arilynia, a Ranger by trade and that she had just not long ago joined the group.
The bat returns and eyes a plate of maize, chicken and bread, a simple meal but perfectly cooked. He sees everyone else start partaking in their meals, lowers his snout and begins to scarf it down. He lets out a satisfied screech.
As you eat you meal you feel a warm glow grow in your body. You will see any injuries you have heal up and you feel refreshed like you had a nice night of sleep.
Bastion (if) he uses the kit will see that it heals him of 2d20 hp.

I will need spot checks from everyone as you hear something in the air. And it is not a ugly shaped Avan in bat form. :)
