Once the group is ready to head out, hopefully with a Goose Buster, Perry will request aid in the transport of Cyanwrath's body via either Poljen's raw strength or some fancy floating disk magic. "Okay now, presentation is key here. We need to flop him down on the ground to make a satisfying thud noise that should get people's attention. Then, I can give my extremely demoralizing, but still tasteful, speech. Velon, can you or Lia contact the castle to let them know what we're trying to do and to have them stand ready in case things go south?"
Lia digs through the assorted armor and weapons . After a few minutes she holds up a intricately engraved breastplate . " This will do nicely . I will need to get it resized for a better fit later . She also finds a short sword with a keen edge. She switches from her old breastplate to the new one and then switches her short sword out as well . After resting she nods at hearing Perry's idea. " I think this could work . It will be very disheartening to know that we took out Cyanwrath and all of their leadership . " She then uses the sending Stone to inform the sky castle crew of the plan. " I believe they are set and ready up above Perry . "
Mari is excited as she digs through the loot as well . After a time of looking at items and muttering to herself she has a few weapons to add to her collection. She took a nice shortbow, a short sword with a wicked edge and a dagger that looked particularly threatening.
Lia took a +1 short sword and breastplate . Mari took a +1 short bow, short sword and dagger.
Velon picks up a +1 greatsword from the collected treasures, putting down his shield, and tests its weight and balance. He decides to keep it now that his training has accounted for such heavier weaponry. The paladin is hesitant, however, to don the plate of the evil commander as it just feels wrong. He knows it is wise to make use of such powerful items though, their war being long from over, and has an idea. "Perry, Winter, could you help me with something?"
Velon asks them for help collecting the pieces of plate armor and bringing them inside the wizard's tower. He asks for permission from either Winter or the wizards to use the contraption Lia, Mari, Poljen, etc. used earlier to change their clothing styles, and inquires about it's use to permanently change the look of existing clothing and even magical armor. With their go ahead, he describes to Perry what he wants to do. He explains to the stylish bard that he would like gold and silver/platinum armor and shield with a bit of blue around platinum symbols of Bahamut. Gold, of course, represents his own gold dragon blood inherited from Glorfindel, as well as his mentor Irdeith, the rest of course honoring Bahamut himself. He asks Perry for advice to ensure he doesn't come out looking ridiculous, if they should perhaps draw it first, or if he should just give it a go and if Perry thinks it's terrible he can reenter the machine. Lastly, he apologizes to Perry but makes it clear that he does not want any purple involved. "So, Perry, what do you think of this idea? I've wanted to honor the gold dragons and Bahamut beyond just my mediocre tabbard for a while now, and I'm particularly uncomfortable wearing AzureMad's armor now. I don't want to screw it up though. I can't have Lia laughing at me!"
After his mental dialogue with the Archmages staff, Lawrance comes up for ‘air’ and reveals his discovery with the group. His eyes still excited from the thrill, he says “Her name is Aisling! She’s a staff for knowledge-seekers and she’s willing to help our cause! She’s fabulous!”
ooc- as a side note, he will pick up a magic dagger but that’s about it.
As far as the refashioning fashions he wants to make his Robe less obvious, reshaping the exterior into stars and planets instead of eyes, if that doesn’t affect its abilities.

Poljen wishes to thank the gnomes properly, but since they are resting he asks the machines to convey their thanks, and relief the wizards are recovering. "I think we will return soon to take that Goose machine, yes? And maybe we can then persuade your masters to join our cause." He then turns to the group, "Ready as I will ever be. Morgaine, as you delivered the final blow, would you like the honor of carrying his body out of the maze? And if the troops want to fight us immediately, smash some of them with his corpse!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Perry will go with Velon to the fashion contraption once more. After Velon explains the colors he wants (and doesn't want in the case of purple), Perry spends the majority of the time deliberating the design and drawing it out. He eventually comes to the conclusion that the vast majority of the armor should be gold, but have platinum trim highlighting the edges of the armor. The golden chest piece would be covered with a deep blue tabard that has the head of the platinum dragon displayed in the center. It's eye is the color of a deep sapphire. "Well, how's it look? I must say that you do look quite dapper now. Fit to lead the Silver Blaze into any battle! Oh and I'm 100% sure that Lia will love it!"
Perry watches Lawrance go into the contraption and come out looking like a blanket.
He sighs.
--
Once the group flops Cyanwrath on the ground outside, Perry addresses the now disjointed army. He is flying roughly ten feet or so in the air when he loudly strums his mandolin to get everyone's attention, "AHEM, LISTEN UP ARMY PEOPLE! Your brave and powerful Commander Cyanwrath is DEAD! He has fallen to the indomitable might of the Silver Blaze along with ALL of his elite forces, of which included an archmage and an incredibly, unbelievably lucky cleric. The Silver Blaze now has air superiority, magical superiority, and just...superiority in general against you. Surely you can see how futile it would be to continue fighting here? This battle has been lost. Don't be stupid and throw your lives away needlessly. Instead, choose to live another day and leave this place now! You only have one chance. Oh and let it be known that the Silver Blaze and their allies are here to stop the forces of Tiamat for good!"

The psychic tailor seems to work perfectly, adjusting minor details that the user hadn't thought of to complete the images seamlessly.
--
Perry mostly seems to be addressing thick woods and hills with his comments. A small contraption provided by Winter displays the commander's body, along with the tiefling, as a large illusion in the sky, and carries his words out to where the army is lying low.
At first, only silence greets him. And then a flight of arrows launches in the parties direction. A thick cloud of projectiles that come buzzing down to strike at Perry and the others around him. A small horde of men come yelling and running out of the underbrush, about a hundred strong. It seems that at least not the entire army is coming.
Treating the flight of arrows as an AOE attack, DC 15 reflex saves for anyone out there, for half of 36 piercing damage. If you just stand there, it will take another two rounds for the runners to reach you.
Velon emerges from the psychic tailor with an impressive new look, much like Perry imagined. His armor is mostly gold but with platinum trim and blue an platinum symbol of Bahamut on the chest. His pauldrons are in the design of gold dragon heads, as is his helm. His shield and hammer now match as well. Over his heart is a smaller silver emblem representing the Blaze. He is curious to see what Lia thinks, but wants to represent Bahamut and his link to the gold dragons as best he can either way.
-----------------
Once back facing the army, Velon listens to Perry do his thing. As the volley of arrows somehow find their way into several gaps in his armor, Velon is quick to sound the retreat. "Ah, ow, that stings, just a bit." At that he pulls an arrow out from his neck near his collarbone and quickly heals the wound with glowing light from his palm, blood spurting onto his new armor. "Oh come on now, the new plate is already a mess!Ok, little to be gained here, folks, and much to lose. We can discuss what to do with this army over a proper meal while we recover our magic." At that the paladin leads the group back to the platform, insisting that they bring the commander's body so that it cannot be resurrected.
OOC Sort of starting like this, with all details described above added.
Morgaine gives Poljen a smile and says, " I would be honored to do so, I may need help to get him up on across my shoulders though."
When the group is ready, will pick up (with any help that she gets) the body of Cyanwrath and places him across her shoulders and heads out to where the army is laying low.
She will stay back a bit, waiting for a sign to toss the body at the army as Perry speaks to the group . Upon hearing and seeing the arrows come there way, she moves back as much as she can with the body on her shoulders to get out of the range of the arrows.
Cratol follows the others as we head back through the maze to where the army was left outside and to where we once again have access to the sky castle via the disk.
Cratol would have picked up a heavy crossbow and the bolts to go with it so that he could be of use with a ranged weapon with the others. As he walked with the others he regained half of his hit points. (Slippers)
Perry gives a resounding, incredible speech. He is extremely proud and nods his head in approval as the entire army is terrified by his well-made points and clever articulation.
Then he gets pelted by a rain of arrows.
"WAHHHHHHH! BUT WHY THOUGH!??!" He yelps as the arrows rain down and pierce various parts of his squishy form. One rude arrow hits the tail, "NOT AGAIN OWWWWW WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"I guess one hundred or so of them didn't appreciate the speech about killing their leader. The skewered tiefling quickly flees as fast as he can towards safety with the others. When he reaches them, he's bleeding from head to tail and just sort of flops onto the ground. Blood pools around his arrow-filled body as he lies there pathetically.
In the safety of the Hut spell's shield, Lawrance observes coldly as the arrows *spang!* off the impenetrable barrier. "Could have predicted that response. These people are fanatics. Well, at least we now know which ones are committed to their cause. Shall we respond in kind, or just see how much damage the defenders on the Castle can do, and clean up the rest?"

Shaking his head at the inner banter, he readies what power he has left, waiting to see what the Blaze consensus is.

Lia tries to block the incoming arrows but there are simply too many. She cries out as numerous arrows pierce her skin . " Whatever we do, we must do it now. I say we retreat and let the crew upstairs handle this. We have them exposed now. " She bends down to Perry . " It's ok brave friend. You will be okay I promise you. Cratol sees the arrows coming at them and he tries to avoid many of them but does not totally succeed. He backs off to a safer distance with the others and waits for the reaction from the sky castle to bombard these fools that did not give up like they were given the chance to.
The group retreats to the hut easily enough, and further arrows simply clink off the magical barrier.
The castle above drops at deadly hail of stones and arrows upon those charging at the Silver Blaze. The cultists begin to drop like flies. They swiftly realize that their intended prey was out of their reach, between that and the losses they are taking, they soon rout.
The remnants of the attackers soon fade back into the woods, leaving half of their number behind, dead or seriously wounded.
When the group gets back to the castle, Captain Callahan reports in, "Sirs, we are running low on stone to drop, but it appears the day has been won. What is left of the army appears to be retreating to the West. I do not know where they are going, but it appears that the last thing on their minds is bothering this place any further."
"Only one casualty up here. Private Enkel managed to drop one of the larger stones on his foot. Chances are the boy won't be walking without a crutch for several months."
"Excellent work, Captain! Did the crew enjoy themselves a bit, at least?" Velon gestures towards Cyanwrath. "We may need to burn our friend here in the courtyard later. Oh, and I believe we have some magic weapons and armor for you and your best men. You all very much deserve it. May I suggest that the squad that has been training to man and defend our new platform be well outfitted, amongst others? I do hope you will join us for dinner this evening, Captain, so we may hear a full account of the adventure you all have had while we were on the ground."
"Lawrance, do we need to spend time collecting some of the stone via the platform, or is it easy enough to conjure up more in good quantity?"
"Well, what do you all think? I hate to leave the rabble of this army to terrorize the local towns, but I also hate to spend days or weeks routing out each small group. Do we know if there is a nearby Lord with forces to ensure the people stay safe? We could go speak with them."
Velon's activities, now that they are back, will include visiting many of the soldiers who had manned the castle siege, especially the injured one, to measure their spirits and congratulate them all on a job very well done. He'll also visit Poppo in the control room, and report their victory to Irdeith and Chasorth.
The captain says, "Sir, the only major power in that direction is Thay. I kind of doubt we want to be talking with them."
Shortly after the group returns to the castle, movement is spotted below. Winter and Summer have emerged from the maze and are waving up at the castle. what appears to be a self propelled wheelbarrow accompanies them. When people go to find out what it is that the constructs want, Winter states, "It seemed a little boorish to send you off with only the spoils of battle, so I asked the mistress if a parting gift could be arranged. These items are in thanks for your efforts here."
Carefully wrapped within the wheelbarrow is one glass sphere with an opaque white liquid within. A single Goosebuster. Also present is an ornately carved wooden rod, about a foot in length.
Winter hands over a slip of paper with arcane runes upon it. "In order to activate the projectile, read this phrase aloud. The reader will feel a connection form, and at that point can will the sphere to detonate. Preferably do so when said projectile is well away from one's allies.
Summer hands over the rod carefully, "If in great need, break this, the magic within will attempt to accommodate your desires, though it is not unlimited. Also know that the magic can impart a great cost upon the one wielding it, so be cautious."
The rod is essentially a single use magic item that allows for one casting of the Wish spell. This casting is subject to all of the normal constraints of said spell, except for the 33% chance of never being able to cast wish again. Bear in mind if veering far off course that I can play the evil genie quite well.
Upon arrival to Castle Blaze, Perry hobbles away as Velon does most of the talking with the good Captain. He first makes his way to his bedroom and removes all of his armor and clothing onto the ground, not really caring about the arrangement of the items. Then, he stands in front of his full body mirror and begins pulling arrows out of his body as he cleans up all the blood with magic. Each arrow pulled causes a yelp of pain from the now pincushion bard. By the end of this torture session, he is sniffling in front of the mirror and goes to take a real warm bath. Now normally, a warm bath is something that most people have experienced. However, a warm bath for a tiefling is something else entirely. Any non-tiefling entering this water is likely to have a very bad time.
He just sits there and soaks for about thirty minutes as the pain washes away and the hot water soothes his battered form.“Ahhhh, this hits the spot,” he coos. He sinks his whole head head down into the water for a few seconds then raises it up just enough so that only his eyes and horns are visible. The tip of his tail can also be seen sticking out. After a few minutes, the view of the entire bath area is obscured with steam.
When Morgaine arrives at the Castle with her Helm in her hand, she goes to her room and removes her armor and places it on the armor dummy at she has in the room. She goes to the stand with a pitcher of water in a bowl, pouring the water into the bowl , she washes as much of the sweat and grim off herself. She then puts on the lilac and deep purple accents V neck dress she recently purchased. She then looks at herself in the mirror. She takes her braided hair and begins to undo the braid. once it's undone she takes a brush and brushes it out. She then takes a part of front part and braid it on each side of her face she then brings them together and the back of her head and lets it rest on top of the wave of hair that runs down to her lower waist. She then adds a small amount to makeup to bring out some of her features. Once she is done, she will head to the Dinning Hall to enjoy a nice meal and some nice company and conversation.
Upon arriving back at the Castle, Lawrance addresses Velon's query. "Conjuring and shaping the stone ammunition is far easier than hauling it up via the platform, but I can only create a few per day. It might be a good idea to gather some extras at least. Tomorrow morning, I'll prep the spell and we can restock our stores a bit that way. If Poppo has the spare time, even more so. Also, giving the extra items from our foes to our own forces seems a perfect form of justice!"
This is based on casting Wall of Stone, holding it for ten minutes, then using stone shape to make the walls into balls. The spell will create a 10ftx10ftx5ft block, so that should produce 7 spheres per Wall. That would take 7 Stone shape castings. Lawrance can cast a maximum of 5 per day.
He heads back to his labs, eager to begin examining Aisling's issue and curious as to her creation.
%If you can handle it, I'd like to try passing as many magic spells as I can to you, and have you voluntarily replace them, one by one, and see how your memory handles cycling. If you only forget once a new bearer has you, you should be able to keep any spell I teach you in mind. %

*Okay* she replies worriedly *I'll try*
%It's just a start on our journey to repair the flaw you see, Aisling. It won't be the last thing we try, but I hope we can resolve your issues.%
-It'll be fine, dear. He may be young, but he's an avid reader. His mind is so cluttered with facts, he has a hard time remembering which way is up.I'm certain one of those messy historical books stuffed in his noggin will help-
%Thanks, Gamliel, I think. I know I can always count on you to support me to look foolish%
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?"
"Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied
