Preparing the tea is quite straight forward once Sim collects the supplies. Before too long, Sim is on her way out of the kitchen carrying a not-so-heavy silver tray. Not a soul in the kitchen behaves as if Sim doesn't belong there, it seems. The stairs are a bit creaky and could probably use some repair.
Once on the second floor, Sim looks around and finds yet another hallway. This one is well-decorated with paintings, carpets, tapestries, and trophies. There are three doors to her left and three to her right. Sim can hear a couple people talking in one of the rooms to her right.
Outside, Adrasteia succeeds in leading a quiet prayer session, though some of her new followers seem a bit dubious about doing so in the street instead of inside a temple. The guard that was flagged to go call for reinforcements leaves in a hurry.
I go straight for the third door on the right so I can serve tea and inconspicuously take a peak around the room, I hope. Then maybe I'll have time to sneak around and check out some of these other rooms and look for the family heirloom hankie.
I am concerned about the guard going for reinforcements, so I hope that my attempt to quiet down my mob will be seen as being less threatening. Still, I hope to draw attention.
Sim enters the room and is given no acknowledgement apart from a "Ah, tea time!" from the chubby blond man sitting on one of the corners of a beautiful mahogany table. The long-haired lady talking to him, also a bit chubby and blond, is standing and does not seem as excited about tea. The room itself is an extension of the hallway. Paintings and sculptures, incense and flowers, tapestries and dead animal trophies, all decorate this visually busy abode. The large table in the middle is quite literally the centerpiece, seemingly designed for late morning meetings (Sim, please give me an investigation check).
Outside, the guard that went off to find reinforcements has been gone for some time. Adrasteia knows that this almost certainly confirms that they went seeking for the City Watch as opposed to more Pearcasters guards.
Adrasteia: Some of your new followers are getting a little restless. The whole praying in silence thing is causing you to lose some of their interest. Two of them perform a loud tsc sound with their mouths in unison and leave. At least whatever reinforcements may be arriving soon have not done so just yet...
Sim has her "Aria and Tywin Lanister" tea serving moment. The adrenaline of the heist has heightened her senses. After quickly skimming the room, she looks at the nobleman's attire and notices a beautiful but old kerchief hanging from the side pocket of his jacket. He is also covered in different pieces of valuable jewelry. Sim can read the initials "IG" on the kerchief, which clearly do not stand for Henkett Pearcaster.
Meanwhile Henkett continues to chat away with the other person in the room. Sim knows for a fact this is Henkett now because the woman keeps calling him by name as she explains to him why some of his recent choices are problematic. Henkett does not seem to care much. He is not paying particular attention to the little server girl tending to his tea, but the well-poised lady seems more aware of her surroundings.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
At the risk of losing followers, I begin a "call and answer" chanting session. I say a prayer and the followers are to answer with whatever form of Amen suits them. Religion: 17
I come around to the lady's side of the table and make a calculated move to spill tea a whole cup of (slightly cooled) tea into her lap, instantly gasping and beginning to apologize. My hope is that she'll leave to go change, and I can focus on the kerchief.
As discussed, this game will have to go on an extended hiatus for now. Sorry for having to do this, especially right on the middle of an adventure, but I hope I can count with your understanding.
It has been really fun! Thanks for sharing this quirky hobby with me.

I urge my followers to continue our silent reflection. Religion: 5
I hope that not being noisy makes things easier on me when the city watch arrives.

I bring the tea tray over to the table and begin to serve.

Adrasteia: Your followers respond positively, but those two who left do not turn back. The City Watch will arrive any time now, surely...
I prepare to speak with the City Watch and hopefully talk my way out of any situation. I hope that my noble birth may afford me some courtesy too.

Luiz,
No problem, I completely understand! Thanks for making this a fun and creative outlet. Maybe we'll return to our adventure someday. :)
