Gaelin will toss a Fireball at the ground between the two towers and tell Valeera telepathically, "Burn em to the ground then let's burn a trail back to the trebuchets."
Zinmaer would catch the horn tossed by Aryn and choose to not blow the horn since Aryn had so much success. He would heal using Wholeness of Body and he would seem to leave his body for an instant, before looking down and watch the chaos. "Aryn, is there any other way we can help? Things seem to be going well!"

Zinamer watches as the army halts and looks over to Aryn confused but impressed. To the east, Jinara throws a fireball that burns away all the ropes and causes the wood to char rendering the trebuchet useless, at least for an hour, and continues towards the next trebuchet. Further east Gaelin's fireball explodes between two towers turning the nearby orcs and goblins to ash as Valeera flies low to the ground. Arrows and javelins bounce off her armored body as her head curls back and releases a jet of flame. The flames make the armored side of the tower glow red hot before melting as the flame pierces through one side then the other then into the second tower. Valeera flies back up as the glowing towers crumble to the ground crushing 28 orcs and goblins three arrows manage to pierce his thick scales but she doesn't seem any worse for wear. The explosions and sound of the falling towers echo through the battlefield as the drekthar army begins to grow even more anxious awaiting the next order. Local commanders try to keep their battalions under raps but you can tell they are confused and will begin to make they own decisions soon if no new orders are given.
(All siege towers are destroyed. All that remains are three trebuchets that are about 1200 feet away. You all somehow figured out a better way to execute the plan gifted to Jinara from his prayer. Despite some low rolls the eagles and some other key rolls really turned this around.)
"Hell if I know. What do you think the sequence is for retreat?" Aryn says as she blows a slightly different sequence of sounds between the two horns. When she finishes she looks up to Calypso and calls for him. "We should probably get in the air though. There are still thousands of em out there. Let's search the bodies then regroup with the others."
Mucor would fly towards the front gate of the town and point his staff directly towards the center of the nearly shattered defense. A moment later a curtain of spores would erupt from the ground before coralessing into a wall of thorns as the eagles behind him disappear. "Hopefully that helps to keep them off the gate..." Mucor would mumble aloud to Ironwing.
Mucor and his winged companions fly towards the front gate. As they approach the earth trembles as vines erupt from the ground sealing off the breached gate. Aryn's horn blast echo out and relay a similar message. However, the confused drekthar forces feel something is not quite right. Some continue to follow the halt order while others retreat. Many of the groups near the front begin to move forward at a steady jog rather than a sprint and more groups follow behind them. Just as the front lines reach their desired speed a the sky becomes dark with arrows and bolts while flaming barrels arch high overhead. The wave of arrows land first causing massive casualties as another long mound of corpses form. The ballista bolts pierce through numerous orcs and skewer ogres into the ground. When the barrels land the eruptions of flame cause mass confusion and panic as the sticky thick oil burns away at flesh.
Orcs are bloodthirsty, brutish creatures who love the thrill of battle; courageous and savage but not idiotic. Fear creeps in as they realize they are leaderless and without equipment capable of breaching the wall. You each watch as clusters of goblins begin to retreat followed by ogres and orcs. The city releases volley after volley into the horde killing thousands more until they fall out of range. Valeera and Gaelin streak through the sky carving out clusters of the escaping horde with fire. Jinara forms a wall of flame that crosses over one of the trebuchaets trapping many in a deadly stampede that crushes and tries to push through the wall. Only ash and a badly burnt ogre escape to the other side. Jinara focuses on the tightly packed clusters sending fireballs down into their center consuming drekthar in fire. Mucor's air force sweep across the plains picking up orcs and ogres and drop them from the sky into the retreating horde. Aryn and Zinmaer mount up on their griffons, Aryn takes to the skies releasing arrow after arrow until she joins Zinmaer near the ground who uses his staff like a sickle to decapitate large swaths of orcs in a single pass. By the time the drekthar disappear into the trees nearly 2/3 of the 30,000 lie dead on the field. The trebuchets light up the late afternoon sky like large bonfires while smoke columns cloud the skies from all the dying patches of burning oil.
End of combat!
(Well done guys. I could've kept it going another round or two but the writing was on the wall after Aryn blew the horn and Mucor sealed the gate. Some baller moves really turned that quickly.)
Anyone that wants to roleplay their own unique way of killing the stragglers and/or wants to check for loot feel free to post. I'll post the triumphant introduction to Traes tomorrow.
Aryn will begin releasing arrows into the horde until Calypso lands and she'll hop on continuing to shoot orc after orc until she and Zinmaer reach the horde then she'll drop low and make sweeping attacks. Calypso will grab and tear through orcs and goblins as she slashes with each sword appearing like a valkyrie from the stories her father used to tell her. If she sees any commander looking orcs she'll hunter's mark them and kill them before moving to the next.
Gaelin will cast Invisibility on Valeera. (If she's carrying me does that meant I get to be invisible too?) and will fly ahead of the horde reappearing to ambush them with her fire breath and a fireball causing more panic and confusion. ( I can do that three times)
He'll save his final 3 1st level and 1 6th level slots just in case. As the group comes back together he'll use the his staff to cast Mass Cure Wounds on any that need healing including the griffons. Healing: 21
Oh ya, Aryn will definitely fly back to the cliff and check for loot on the bodies then go through many clusters of orcs and grab anything of value on them taking her time. She'll try to look for the same local commanders that she shot and others.

(@Gaelin- Interesting use and interpretation. I’ll allow it for this circumstance.)
Three times during the battle Gaelin and Valeera seem to vanish into nothingness before reappearing 10-15 seconds later as a gout of flame comes out of Valeera’s mouth as a fireball explodes nearby. This causes the horde to quickly shift directions resulting in goblins and orcs being trampled to death under the feet of their allies. Mucor flies back behind the horde and summons clouds of poisonous gas that choke the life from the panicked drekthar. As the wind slowly dissipates one cloud another forms cutting off the retreat and causing more to be trampled. On one occasion you see a goblins head pop off as an ogre steps on its body covering the surrounding orcs and ogre in a spray of greenish black gore. Aryn systematically eliminates multiple commanders who shout orders trying to keep their troops somewhat orderly but as each falls the horde becomes more confused and terrified. Jinara and Doom Tail fly back through the center joining up with Mucor launching firebolts while Doom Tail tears orcs & goblins apart making their way to the wall to serve as an extra layer of defense.
As the stragglers are finished off by her comrades Aryn returns to the cliff to search the bodies of the commanders. She finds one of the commanders has a dark plate suit of armor with ornate markings. She also finds a small chest hidden on the cliff by a small drop off. Opening the chest she finds 500 platinum pieces and an engraved silver dagger. Between the commanders and their guards she finds 500 gold pieces and 3 rings. She hops on Calypso and heads back to the battlefield searching through as many corpses as she can feeling her time running out as her companions look on from above and finds 200 gold pieces. (700 gp, 500 plat, ornate plate armor, silver dagger & 3 rings... allowed adv on cliff but not on the field.)
As you regroup and fly over the city you notice many fires still burn but all are in the process of being put out. Rubble from collapsed buildings litters the streets every few blocks. The vast majority of people you see are soldiers still looking over the walls or attending to the damaged buildings. As you pass over some of the soldiers raise their arms and shout words of praise while others keep watch over the battlefield or stare in awe. You approach the western half of the city that sits atop the cliff settling in the large lawn of Senate's Hill where you are greeted by a number of armored guards that form a line between the large building to the west while another detachment encircles you as you land.
The looks on their faces displays one of hope but also of fear as these unannounced powerful strangers approach on griffons and a dragon. While they don't have weapons drawn or spears pointed out they are still on their guard, prepared to defend the city from any threats regardless of how powerful they may seem. One guard steps forward as you dismount and says, "Welcome to Traes. We appreciate your assistance with the siege. What is your business here?"
"We are the Lightbringers from Telgun. We are friends and have come to aid in the war against Daegon and the Drekthar. We need to speak with Baern Ironfist. We have orders from General Reynala Daevaris to grant a audience with him." Gaelin says calmly but loud enough for all nearby to hear. Then he'll present the letter from Reynala to the soldier who welcomed them.
(Thank you notes page. DnDBeyond is awesome. Had completely forgotten all those names. Also, awesome job guys! We crushed that! Xtra sorry you lost but it was still amazing! Better luck next time. ;D )
Aryn puts all the goodies in different sections of her bag and mounts up on Calypso rejoining the group a content but tired smile on her face. "Well that seemed to go well. Hopefully they have some good food here. Zinmaer's pretty scary with that fancy staff of his." she says to the group telepathically on approach.
Aryn will walk over to Jinara after they land and hand him back his ring, "Thanks for that. Came in pretty handy. You still have the healing spell in there." Seeing the looks of the guards she'll slow her pace and her smile turns to an inquisitive glare as the one guard questions their motives. She is about to quip back when her brother steps forward and begins talking. She'll stand with a small storm beginning to brew on her brow awaiting the response of the guards. "We just saved the city... you'd think they'd be a bit more appreciative." Aryn says to the group telepathically.
(Xtra- I still have the dagger with the snake engraved on it in addition to this one, the rings and armor that I will have Gaelin identify when we get a free moment.)
"I don't think that he was trying to be rude Aryn... just asking what reason 5 warriors riding griffons would decide risk their lives to swoop in and put an end to a massive orc assault" The minotaur would say with a snort. "It isn't something that happens every day.." He would say casually. "My friend Gaelin is right... but he did forget to mention that we are pretty hungry and wouldn't turn down a bite to eat." Mucor would say with a grin and a wink to the guard while motioning to Gaelin.
