Violet lets loose another spell, a large orb of darkness (once again the same as the creature), hitting the creature square on. But like every hit so far it gives no reaction. As with the casting of magic missile, pain crawls up her arm as she casts the spell (1 necrotic damage)
Tailine looses another arrow at the creature, hitting it along the side. The arrow continues to hit Quilqwen, but far too light to deal any damage.
And then creature slowly disintegrates, the particles slowly dispersing into the air and through the walls until nothing is left of the creature.
A loud thunderclap that can almost be felt and lasts for at least 10 seconds is heard. A second one is heard shortly afterwards, louder this time. (Last you looked at the sky it was partly cloudy, but far from storm-like clouds)
(I am assuming that those after Tailine did not take the actions described as the creature is gone)
Quilqwen, the wound on your arm is considerable, without proper treatment you might suffer some loss of use of it. (will need either 2 medicine rolls from someone or a heal spell/lay on hands [5] and 1 medicine roll. You can heal yourself, but not medicine yourself Quilqwen. Any points of healing fro this will also go towards HP.)
We are considered out of initiative at the moment.
(darkvision in this case doesn't help negate the disadvantage as it naturally blends into the darkness. It would appear more like a shadow than solid form, even with the superior vision.)
(Blindsight from the spider would not have given advantage as you weren't using your senses to 'see' the target for the advantage given by faerie fire. It would however remove the disadvantage for the creature being in dim light/darkness)
Jatrin walk to the giant wolf spider and tells Quilqwen to change back so he can check his injured arm. Seeing the deep cut he hovers his hand over the wound trying to fix the damage lay on hands(5), he then cover the arm with some cloth to stop the bleeding medicine: 14. He then recover the javelin stuck on the wood.
(@cogema yes) (Not sure if the 5 lay on hands was for curing a disease or healing 5hp for the deep cut)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quilqwen - (from what I understand I never used my wildshape. Those actions were retconned by the DM.)
"Thank you friend. That is much better." Flexing my arm as I go I head outside to get a better look at what the weather is doing, the spectral unicorn staying with me.
Jatrin heals the arm slightly, stemming the blood flow and causing some of flesh to knit back together. Quilqwen, the arm is still usable, but not much. (You can't two-hand a weapon or use a weapon in your off-hand and your off-hand can't take much/any weight) It'll take about 2 days to heal back to a normal usable level, but will take much longer to heal completely.
As you look up at the sky you see a storm coming this way. But it's moving much faster than the wind is or that clouds would normally move. Lightning flashes every few seconds, lighting up the sky as it approaches. With each flash more of these creatures can be seen coming this way, the distance between you and them closing quickly.
Stepping back inside the in I start casting druidcraft lighting every fireplace, lantern, candle, torch, etc. I can see. "There are more of those creatures coming! Many more! prepare yourselves!" Then I run over to the stairs and call up to those up there. "Light. You need light. An attack is coming." Flinging my pack t the ground I start pulling out torches lighting them and handing them to the towns folk.
"Hard to outrun even a normal storm for long. Look at that one it's moving fast. I think we must stand and fight." He stops an looks at Violet for a moment. "You seemed to be hurting yourself with that thing." Pointing at the new spell focus she's been using. "Perhaps you should try this one. Consider it a Gift of Hope." He holds out the medallion that Hope had given him to her.
Violet glances at the medallion and her eyes show a glimmer of thankfulness, but she shakes her head, "This thing hurts, yah, but it turns my spells into shit that the ****ers are made from....I think. I also don't want to out it down if this is what they came for." She clutches the Arcane heart slightly tighter and sighs, "Besides, a little pain is good. Tells me I'm not dead yet."
With that she calls up stairs, bellowing out, "Oy, if any of you lot got a weapon or something that shoots, now would be the time to get ready!"
”Do be careful then.” Calling out the door ”Estellen! Would you like to use this? Perhaps it will strengthen your spells.” Once again holding out the medallion.
Estellen reaches out and slowly takes the medallion, "...Perhaps. This is an unfamiliar symbol, but these are unfamiliar times. We best get inside, there's not much time left."
”Agreed.“ I head back in satisfied I’ve dine what I could to prepare I find a spot near the center of the rom and sit. Trying to get a short rest in if possible.
(No advantage right now. Faerie fire is just canceling disadvantage. But you do get to add 1d4 to your attack rolls from Bless.)
Tailine will track the glowing creature and release another arrow.
(As a Tiefling she has darkvision, but I'll make two separate attack rolls in case there is some other kind of disadvantage.)
Attack Rolls: 16 19
Damage: 4
Sneak attack (next to Quilqwen): 3

Estellen leans wearily on his staff as a few sparks trickle off it, he murmurs, "Darkness given life... by the spirits, what was that?"
He follows Quilqwen outside, watching his surroundings keenly for any threat.

(I take it that means I lose the shield?)

(yes you are currently unable to use a shield effectively)
Violet sees the coming storm and the creatures it brings and curses loudly before looking to the group, "We running? I suggest running."

The creatures will be on you within a minute or two, as will the storm. The 'medallion' is not a focus for magic.
In answer to the call of help, Strife comes down the stairs, his broken sword in his hand.
You can see the lightning starting to strike the buildings of the town and a heavy rain begins to fall around you.
Quilqwen - (Ahh sorry. I misunderstood the description of it.)
Seeing that there is no time for a rest I start to barricade the doors and windows as best I can.
