As they make their way along, Violet spends sometime brooding and looking over the Arcane Heart, trying to figure out more about it. Aside from that, she makes small talk with the others, cracking some crude jokes and helping set up camp every evening when its time to rest. On the second day of travel, she'd show the Arcane Heart to the others and try to get their perspective on it, see if anyone of them can get a stronger read on it.
Tailine nods solemnly when Strife leaves, "Good luck." She's a bit in awe of his departure, but clearly looks worried once he's out of sight. She will find a quiet moment to bid farewell to Hope, warning the younger Tiefling to be careful and watch out for herself.
Exhausted from going a day without sleep, she will collapse in the back of the cart for a rest once the group takes off. During the trip she will repair her shortbow and make sure it's in working order again. Though she is unaccustomed to the woodlands, she'll spend time stealthing ahead on occasion to make sure the road is clear. She'll volunteer for night watches since she can see in the dark. She's reserved and doesn't make much idle conversation, but might laugh quietly sometimes when Violet cracks a joke. She avoids Estellen like the plague and does not speak to him unless it is absolutely necessary.
She would frown and shrug at the Arcane Heart, "Sorry. I can do a little magic, but I don't really understand this kind of thing."
(Tailine does speak Infernal and would be willing to trade knowledge of one language for another if someone wants to do that with our downtime while we are on the road.)

Quilqwen - (Ugh I'm horrible. Quilqwen's not though he remembers to tell hope goodbye before they go and tells her he hopes to see her again soon.)
Quilqwen will agree to take a look at the heart when Violet asks. Looking it over and perhaps trying got cast something small through it.

He will also chat with the others when they stop to rest each night trying to learn a little about the customs of the world. And play a few songs on his pan flute.

Estellen spends most of the time traveling in his Trance, disturbed that the memories of the past week have been bleeding into his remembrance. Whenever Violet shows him the Arcane Heart, he studies it almost obsessively.
Arcana: 11
He does notice Tailine’s avoidance of him, but minds less and less as he continues ruminating on the Void and “These blasted shadows.”
Jatrin mostly take care of Asaph'il and riding the cart. He took bit of time to getting used to the new advanced shield he got from Sil. After the second day Jatrin sometimes ask Tailine basic word like greeting or farewalls in infernal while saying dragonic version of it.
As the dawn sun breaks the next day, you set out North. A few people see you off, notably Bryant, Hope, and Sil, but there are a few other faces you recognise in the small crowd. Jatrin drives the cart most of the time, taking time to learn and teach languages with Tailine. It'll take some time before you're both fluent, but it's a start.
Those that look over Arcane Heart can find out nothing more than Violet already knows, its strange origins and abilities remaining a mystery.
Quilqwen flies off often, coming back with what most of you regard as useless bits of plants. You see no more creatures than you already knew as you're still in terrain you know.
The weather holds up for the first couple of days, but at the beginning of the 3rd day it starts to get darker. As you look at the horizon you notice that it's not just the clouds, but there's something dark, sapping the light from the sky. Whatever it is, it's a long way away at the moment, but you're heading towards it (roughly).
Towards the end of the 3rd day a light rain starts to fall just as you reach the edge of a forest, the tree canopy offering decent protection from the rain. Both Quilqwen and Jatrin, your wounds have now healed enough to no longer suffer the drawbacks from them. (although you still have the scar feature Jatrin)
As you all start making camp for the night, can everyone pleases roll a perception check.
Violet and Quilqwen, just barely audible over the noise of the rain landing on the leaves above you, you can hear a faint buzzing sound in the distance.
Jatrin and Estellen, no matter how much you try and strain your ears, you are unable to hear the sound the others tell you about.
As you continue preparing for the night, the sounds neither get closer nor get further away.

Tailine is tense as they settle down to rest. She keeps absentmindedly scrubbing her hands on her clothes like she's trying to clean them, but stops when she catches herself doing it.
Those who are able to hear the buzzing are unable to tell what is making this sound, and when not trying to hear it, the rain muffles the sound anyway.
Jatrin take out the Gem of Brightness and give it to Quilqwen. "While you holding it you can use it as extra light source unlimited time or even blind enemy although it will use charges depending the intensety of the brightness. It has 3 command word, 1) Light, 2) bright and 3) flare. When the watch switch leave it to the other person. Asaph'il and I will take the last watch."
