Quilqwen, shaken by the orc's strike, watches as strangers leap to action cutting down my attacker and saving my life. Seeing this, my resolve hardens and run to the door. What do I see?
(OOC Sorry I'll chill next time and wait till given the go ahead.)
Quilqwen - You see the town in chaos. Goblins can be seen scurrying around, some are caught in standoffs with people holding saucepans, farming equipment, or other makeshift weapons that were to hand. A very small figure (about the same size as Goblins) can be seen about 80ft SSW holding 4 Goblins at bay with warning swings of a large smithing hammer.
In the centre of the crossroads about 40ft away to the WNW another Orc can be seen executing surrendering townsguard, bathing himself in blood. 2 Goblins are also trying to bathe themselves in the few specs of blood that miss the large Orc. The Goblins look the same as the others already encountered. This Orc has the same markings but wields a longsword strange in design (similar to the Uruk swords from Lord of the Rings). A dead Goblin can also been seen at his feet.
60ft to the N is an orc clearly taller than the rest, wielding a large tree branch as a maul, striding down the street towards the inn.
What do you wish to do Quilqwen (A, BA, 15ft movement)
Still in Initiative (Orcs follow the same as before, as do the Goblins.)
Horrified at what I see, Quilqwen jams the point of his staff to the ground and casts Entangle (DC 12 STR) at the orc and two goblins executing people. I then step back inside and move as far north as I can moving east if I hit a wall. Casting Shillelagh (if allowed by the DM). And calls to the others telling them what I saw, they can also see that Quilqwen is very injured.
To clarify i am trying to get all three of them but will center entangle on the orc if the other two would still be in range. And as a reminder even if they are not retrained, or they break free, the 20 foot square is difficult terrain.
As Quilqwen jams the staff into the ground, snake-like vines slither down it into the ground. A moment passes before an eruption of vines engulfs the Orc with the sword and the 2Goblins around him. The Orc angrily fights away these annoying vines {10}, but the magical force is too strong and he finds himself restrained by the vines. While the Goblins begin to panic push the vines away {18} {4}, one manages to scramble free, whilst the other becomes almost encased on vines. Quilqwen then ducks back into the inn, taking a moment to focus on his staff, which then becomes thorny, emitting a faint glow.
The Orc restrained by the vines and with the longsword (Orc 2) struggles to break free from the vines which now encase his body. {15}, it manages to hack enough of the vines away to free himself and has a brief exchange with the Orc 1, before moving towards the door but only able to just get out of entangled area. (20ft away from the door WNW now)
The other Orc to the north with the maul (Orc 1) moves towards Orc 2 saying something that you can’t make out. Orc 2 then calls out to the Goblins around the small smith and 2 of them begin to break off. Orc 2 stays 10ft behind and to the E of where Orc 1 was. (Outside the Entangle zone, 50ft NW).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Estellen, hearing the shouting from outside, will walk 30 ft towards the door and launch a fire bolt. Targets (in preferred order depending on which he can see): Orc 2, one of the goblins attacking townsfolk (preferably one where the townsperson seems to be losing), Orc 1. In Abyssal, he says, "Such an uncivilized land".
Movement (25ft)-- Hearing the commotion outside and seeing everyone in the inn file their way out, Doc comes away from his hiding place beside the bar and begins making his way toward the door. He stops in the middle of the doorway, essentially blocking it. Seeing the injured Aarakocra, he says, sighing, "It was so peaceful just moments ago."
Bonus Action -- Doc casts Healing Word on the Aarakocra: 4. He adds, "I am called Doc, by the way."
Movement (5ft)-- After attempting to heal the Aarakocra, Doc moves out the door and positions himself just outside of it. He scans the surrounding area, gauging the ensuing chaos.
Action -- Doc once again casts Toll the Dead, targeting the nearest goblin. (DC 13 Wis ST. 8 if goblin was previously uninjured. 1 if someone hit it already.)
Stepping out of the inn, Violet raises an eyebrow at the scene in front if her. The surprise is quickly replaced with annoyance and she raises her hand at the incoming Orc, "Drop dead."
Casting Magic Missile at closest Orc (if he dies, will redirect darts to next Orc, or the goblin's attacking the dwarf)
Urkosh steps out of the tavern and looks on at the chaos outside, and then dashes towards the smaller figure surrounded by goblins. The orcs were a serious threat, but hopefully the others would engage them, and the lone figure might not survive long enough for anyone else to help. Besides, if there was even a chance that the lone figure was his contact, he couldn't afford to risk him dying. [Taking the dash action and moving 10 feet to the door, and then 50 feet towards the lone figure]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Estellen moves towards the door, through he can see a clear line to the blood soaked Orc 2. He takes careful aim before casting a firebolt at it. At the last second its sword comes up, deflecting the perfect shot into its shoulder, causing little more than graze. (2 damage to Orc 2)
Urkosh, after leaving the inn and seeing a small figure in distress, dashes towards it swords at the ready.
Violet steps outside the inn to see yet more party crashers. Extending her hand at the nearest one, 3 darts of pure energy shoot out of her fingers. 3 holes can now be seen in the chest of Orc 2, slightly smoking. The blast nearly knocks it off its feet, but it manages to somehow stay upright, although it is is swaying slightly. Orc 2 looks really bad.
Doc mutters a magical incantation as he passes Quilqwen, causing a surge of healing energy through his body (4 healing to Quilqwen), introducing himself as he does do. Looking around he chooses another Goblin to feel his wrath. Doc points at Goblin 2 (the one that avoided being entangled to the NW) 17. Goblin 2’s hands go to his ears and shakes its head, fighting the magical power.
Positioning
Orc 1 - 50ft NW of door
Orc 2 - 25ft W of door
Goblin 1 - Restrained 45ft NW of door
Goblin 2 - next to Goblin 1
Goblin 3 -75ft SSW of door (20ft from Urkosh)
Goblin 4 - 70ft SSW of door (15ft from Urkosh)
Goblin 5 - 70ft SSW of door (10ft from Urkosh)
Goblin 6 - 80ft SW of door (25ft from Urkosh)
Unknown small figure with smithing hammer - 80ft SSW of door (30ft from Urkosh) (10ft from Goblins 3, 4, 5, and 6)
As she hears the screams from outside and Quilqwen's news of more enemies, Edra eyes dart to the open door. She follows the others and rushes outside to survey the area. Seeing the chaos before her, Edra's rage grows, and she allows her more bestial side to emerge, taking on a more beastly appearance as she Shifts. Her wild eyes dart between the injured Orc, the group to the northwest, and where Urkosh is running toward the figure surrounded by Goblins. Using 20 feet of her movement, Edra will run toward the injured Orc and attempt to finish him off with a swing of her greatsword.
Attack: 22 Damage (Greatsword): 5 (+ 2 from Rage)
Whether or not she hits, she'll use the last 20 feet of her movement to move closer to the pack of Goblins around the small figure.
((Hopefully I did my math right for her movement. Sorry again for holding things up! Today's been pretty busy. I wasn't sure how to link her abilities in a tooltip either, so, I hope a copypasta is okay for quick reference.))
Rage: You gain advantage on STR checks and saving throws (not attacks), +2 melee damage with STR weapons, resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing damage. You can't cast or concentrate on spells while raging. Your rage ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage as a bonus action. Shifting: Once per short rest as a bonus action, you can assume a more bestial appearance. This transformation lasts for 1 minute, until you die, or until you revert to your normal appearance as a bonus action. When you shift, you gain +4 temp HP and additional benefits that depend on your shifter subrace.
Swiftswtride: While shifted, your walking speed increases by an additional 5 ft. and you can move up to 10 ft. as a reaction when an enemy ends its turn within 5 ft. of you. This movement doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks.
Edra, having shifted, swings with such power and ferocity that she cuts Orc 2 in half at the stomach, dousing the ground in blood and guts. Hungry with rage, she heads towards 4 more targets.
Goblins - To the NW Goblin 2 look behind him at the big scary orc, then at the back of Edra before charging her. Seeing this Goblin 3 also charges her from the S (both dash)
Goblin 4 breaks from the small figure and attacks Urkosh {To hit: 16, damage 3}
Goblin 1 still restrained by the magical vines, attempts to break free (DC 12) 13 and just manages to pull himself free, and then begins moving towards the inn door.
Goblins 5 and 6 are still harassing the small figure, but are still being kept at bay.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quilqwen moves out the door, takes a quick look around and heads for the closest. Wanting to return the kindness he steps between large turtle person and the small creature rushing at them. He swings his staff over his head and down hard at the diminutive beast.
Attack: 24 Damage: 13
His adrenaline pumping Quilqwen gets a bit over excited and wiffs completely, slamming the staff hard against the ground.

Edit done, there was an error in the original post. Sorry.
Violet sighs and walks over towards the door as well. "Well, that wasn't as interesting as I hoped."
Are we out of initiative combat?
