Draconovich looked over absentmindedly at the question and smiled. "I am a mage in fact. I specialize in fire magic as you could probably guess." He said referring to his Fire Ganasi heritage.

Hansel takes the stew and slowly eats it. He pushes back his curly blond hair, revealing his elven like ears. "The name is Hansel. I came from the Sword Coast, my mother bright me to various towns. I am just a humble man looking to destroy evil wherever it may hide. I came to the Dalelands upon request "

The group will probably see at some point Agatha taking her pet mouse out for a little nibble of some food, petting it affectionately. "Yeah, well you could be a little less obvious wi'that." She says stuffing another mouthful in. "Mmm, sho elfy traveller, eh? You ever been to Waterdeep? That's where I'm from."
Hansel stares at the small mouse for a moment, then nods litely at the question. "Once or twice, though we didn't stay long. I'd like to go back there again someday."

"The man said to get a good night sleep and that's what I intend to do. If you want to watch go right ahead. Wake me if something might try to kill us. If nothing is trying to kill us let me sleep."
With that said he rolls into his bedroll again and in a few moments he is snoring loudly.
Your night continues uninterrupted, allowing you all to get a good nights rest, until a few hours before dawn you hear a soft knock on your door. From outside you here a, “ ‘cuse me, but I was a sent to show you lot the ropes. Y’all awake in there?”
"Ready to see what we're needed for." Leto says, packing his gear, and then using his staff to push himself up to standing.
If you look, you'll notice that toward the top of his staff, there is a deep indentation carved into it. Going a good 30cm from just below the top end down. Embedded within that carved out section is a long (filling the entire 30cm, perhaps a bit deeper), and very thin, tooth of some kind. ((this will act as my focus for spell casting - the tooth specifically, but the staff, which holds the tooth, mechanically))
Gnash awakens to the sound of the knocking at the door. He stuff his bedroll back into his pack and puts it on his back. Grabbing his shield he throws that across his back and slips his axe into its loop on his belt.
"A good night's sleep, what every soldier dreams of, and I have gotten it."
He exits the hut and once outside he stretches. Seeing others he has not met yet he introduces himself.
"I am Gnash. We are to work together eh? Let us go find food and these ropes the man so speaks of."
Gnash looks to one who awakened them.
"We break the fast and then ropes. Lead the way. "
Hansel stretches his arms and taps the hilt of his longsword. "I'm awake." He nods at Gnash's suggestion. "Yes, let us break our fasts, then break ropes and faces."

As you leave your hut, you see a simply dressed man, digging through a pack on the ground. “Ah, ‘ere it is.” And pulls out a pouch. Then he does a little more digging and pulls out a few more smaller pouches. From the first pouch he starts to pull out gold coins, giving you 2 gold apiece. He also gives you each another small pouch, “and here’s your breakfast”
He then walks over to the far side of your hut. “You can see here there’s a path, y’all need to walk it until your replacements show up afore high sun. Walk to the road, turn round walk to the other road. I’ll see you in a few days” as he wanders back towards the hamlet.
Inside the pouch is a few strips of dried meat and a handful of candied fruit slices. When you approach the path, you see the man was truthful about the path. Its a well worn path that seems to follow the fence line along the edge of the Hamlet. Every 60 meters or there is a torch attached to the fence, burnt low but still providing some light to patrol by.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Draconovich Packed away his things and then followed the others in eating breakfast and then grabbing his staff he also starts to walk the well-worn path. He kept his eyes carefully scanning the surroundings much like he would scan the books he loved so much.

Gnash rolls over in his bedroll and looks around at the group.
"You all talk too much. We must work in the morning, try to get some sleep while you can."
"I agree with our friend, I'll wake one of you in a couple of hours to take over the watch." Kelric stands up going outside to check around the area

((Also agreed. I love the RP but kinda wanna see what's gonna happen. Also. Do we need a guard shift? We're to be woken up for our shift later no?))

Leto is lying on his bedroll in the back corner of the room quite still, presumably sleeping.
