“The shipment is being readied at this time, that is if those blasted pickaxes can get finished!” Gundren slams his fist down on the table, causing a few heads to turn in your group’s direction. “The blacksmith claims it is the miller’s fault that the handles are not ready, but the millers claim the blacksmith did not make the order. You would think in a city the size of Neverwinter that a pickaxe would not be an issue to find but apparently not!”
The frustration shows clearly upon his face, but subsides. “Excuse me I have been somewhat stressed the last few days. The shipment should be readied within the next few hours and you can bring it to Phandalin. Sildar and I are riding ahead to take care of some things. Thank you again for your service and I will greet you again in Phandalin for another round of drinks. Perhaps we will be less rushed then and we can partake in some storytelling of adventures that each of you has experienced. If no one has any more questions I will be off.”
Harukai addresses Gundren quietly, “What kind of shady individuals should we be expecting? Anything you can tell us on numbers, tactics, or other specifics would be helpful.”

Gundren says ”well, I only know what I hear from rumors, as I have not encountered any issues during my travels to and from Phandalin. Rumors have abounded from roving groups of bandits, goblins, even more elaborate tales of orcs, zombies, and even of dragons! I honestly don’t know what to believe, but the sudden influx of money into the rebuild town can surley almost guarantee someone looking take it by unethical means. I introduced Sildar as an associate but he is actually working as a protector while we are performing our business in Phandalin.”
”I would say the truth of such rumors lies on the side of a few bandits looking for easy pickings. I could have easily hired merchants to transport the cargo for me for a handfull os silver, but I believe the sight of armed and ablebodied individuals will be enough to make them think twice about trying anything.”

"Sounds reasonable to me. Safe journey to you both," Harukai offers to Gundren and Sildar, then turns to Jackson, asking, "Is there anything else we need to prepare for our trip, or shall we go now?"

As Gundren is speaking, Jackson has continued to sip his tea in quiet, splitting his attention between listening to the conversations going on in front of him, and the quiet Tabaxi sitting with them at the table. He turns his full attention to the conversation once Harukai addresses him directly.
He first nods to Gundren, saying, "Yes, yes sounds good." He gets up and puts a hand on Gundren's shoulder. "Safe travels, my friend. We will see you in less than a tenday." He reaches out for Sildar's hand and will give him a firm handshake, making eye contact but saying nothing.
Jackson then turns to Harukai and says in Celestial, "What do you make of this one?" motioning to the mysterious Tabaxi.
(OOC: Wanted to give Nephrius a bit more time to respond before we head out. I've already PM'd to check in. Worse case scenario, we leave, and the Tabaxi catches up with us later down the road.)
OOC. Nephrius is thin built and stands at the height of 5'8. When she walks in a group it is almost like a dance moving between people never touching anyone, making sure to be noticed as little as possible. The only part of her body you can see is her face, hands and tail, she keeps everything else tied tight in her leathers and a hood.
Nephrius walks over from the bar cursing to herself and tries to slide in to one of the tables without causing to much noise.
"Ssstupid bar wench, how you have no milk in inn, not want to drink shitty ale"
She leans in to everyone at the table, "Ssorry i am later to party yes, I have not been in land long, time moves different."
She sits back and continues to listen to the folks talking and checks the contract.
Jackson raises an eyebrow at the Tabaxi. "So she speaks...and quite interestingly, might I add. I am Jackson. Let us know when you are ready to depart." He gives her a thumbs up.
He turns again to Gundren before the dwarf leaves the tavern. "Ahh before you leave, old friend: could you direct us to where we'll be able to pick up your shipment once it's ready for transport?"
OOC: Thank you Greystone for checking of Nephrius, I defiantly did not want to lead the group out until everyone has had a chance to RP like they want. I want everybody to have fun and if I move too fast please say so.

OOC: Yeah no problem. And the pace works just fine!
The door to the inn bursts open and the young blacksmith's apprentice comes running to the group. "The cart is ready and all the supplies are loaded! Mr. Gundren wanted me to make sure you were told right away when it was ready." He also hands you a map. "He also said to give you this"
At this time the party can give the order of who is driving the cart and who is sitting, walking, etc. The two oxen pulling the cart are docile and require no animal handling skill or checks.

Harukai waits for the others to make their preference known for travel, but he volunteers to walk if no consensus seems to form.
As they travel, Harukai assesses each one of his new travelling companions carefully. No stranger to betrayal, he is quiet and wary around others until he gets a chance to observe them enough to judge their intent.
OOC: This is one of Harukai's personality traits. Feel free to share some tidbit about your character if you think Harukai would reasonably be able to draw it out of you...or feel free to react however else you want to if his prying questions offend you.
"I hope we can be up to your standards" Nilparin does a quick bow before standing up from the table and downing his drink "so when shall we leave?"

Nephrius is taken back at first by everyone's kindness and smiles.
"You people are very kind."

"Do we need ssomething before leaving?"
"we're just waiting for some pickaxes before we can depart.
