Half-orc Rogue, Pirate - think enforcer/muscle who knows between which ribs a blade should go, rather than traditional burgler (i.e., finding and disabling traps is not his function)
Ability scores: 14161811107
STR 18 DEX 14 CON 19 INT 7 WIS 10 CHA 11
(I don't like playing into stereotypes, but let's assume he's used to being pointed a target by his captain and he just goes to work ... If you haven't guessed by the Stat block, he'll be taking some levels in barbarian)
Background: Shun by his clan due to his human heritage, Keth sought acceptance elsewhere. He traveled a bit moving from town to town always mixing in with the local criminal element who took advantage of his brutal and effective skills with a blade, and his desire to find belonging. He eventually found himself on the coast and eventually on a "privateer's" ship. He found everything he wanted - freedom, belonging, and the occasional fight to settle his more "aggressive" tendencies. He most definitely decided that the pirate's life was for him.
I shouldn't ask because this is not my PC and therefore not my business, but have you considered switching the roll you used for strength with the roll for wisdom? A lot of the monk's special abilities are wisdom-based, including unarmored defense.
mechanically speaking, yes, but it's what I rolled, plus, it fits with the character I have in mind, so XP. Not to mention, he's pretty dexterous, so his AC (while not as high as it could be) is pretty good
