Yaalins gaze steadies on the false wall. Beckoning the others she calls out, "here something is not right" and pushes gently to see if the wall will give. ((She expects one or more of the others with expertise is this field to come help but isn't in a state of mind to bother asking))
The wall stays firm. But, the group is able to see the outline as Yaalin traces it with her claw. The small break in the rocks that show a archway. It appears to be more of a door. It's either stuck, or locked. A small keyhole can be found by moving one of the rocks lightly to the side.
The odd shaped key fits into the door easily. With a few turns, you all can hear the metal bars that kept it secure slide back into the actual wall. It takes a moment to pull the door open; gripping parts of the rocks to act like a door handle. Once open, the hallway leads down to a central chamber. The hall is designed with fine marble floors and the walls and ceiling seem to match. The yellow pollen/mist still lingers in the air, even down this enclosed space.
At the far end, you see a desk and several bookshelves. And a over sized sturdy coatrack like piece of furniture. Some sort of small creature is hanging on it at the very end, feet dangling in the air as it seems to just sway. Hearing the door open, a creaky, old, phlegm-filled voice calls out to you all in goblin.
Sim moves forward being the only one who understands the creature. In goblin he asks “Do you speak common? Who are you and how did you get stuck up there?”
The creature replies in goblin as Sim walks over. “Common? Yesh. I know.”
Sim, as you get closer, it’s some kind of goblinoid. You think at least. Blueish green skin. Small nubs along it’s forehead and back make it seem like it could be some kind of cousin to a goblin. Or perhaps full of tumors. Or altered from some kind of spell. The skin is rather wrinkled. Folds upon folds, and hardened like leather from age. Hanging in part by hooks in its jacket and trousers. Getting closer still, it’s eyes have a thick milky cloud over the pupils. You doubt the creature can see 5 feet infront of it.
”Who ish standing at the doorway?” The creature asks in common this time.

Looking at the paintings, while Sim is talking to the creature behind the closed door, you're able to tell that they aren't anything magical. They do seem to be telling some kind of story though; one dealing with what looks like magical beings.
(I'm going to use your same roll of 11, accept apply your History modifier to it)
Thinking on it for a second, you begin to believe this is the story of the Iron Queen - the head of the religion of the Faith. The mats around probably so someone could preach, or tell the story while pointing to the pictures, and tell the story. Or give a sermon.
The creature on the coatrack seems to let out a small eep as the new voice approaches. "They took runestones to the old alter. To unlock it. Parts to a key to get to where the temple went."
There's a bit of moving back and forth, like drifting in the breeze. The creatures attempt at uncomfortable squirming as Yaalin's voice seems to agitate it.
Sim steps forward trying to soothe the creatures nerves to keep him talking. “You’ll have to forgive my friend she doesn’t like it when people steal from her. What is your name? We don’t mean you specifically any harm. Where did the temple once go? What does the unifier of goblins want to do once he gets there? And why were you abandoned?”
The creature moves it's shoulders - unsuccessfully - in what you could assume to be a shrug.
"Not abandoned. Safe n sound. Hanging around." it seems to let out a giddy laugh at its own rhyme. "Temple gone, long long ago. Locked away. Needs a key," it pauses. "Outsiders, you all are. Yesh?" Its feet kick a few times. "Runestones are not yours. They are not made by any of you. So you steal them. Then others steal them. Owner is the one that has them. That the goblins way. Take what you can. Be strong. Be powerful. Work with power. How Shale unified tribes. Kill leaders. Or those that wanted life.... submit..." her tune changes just a little bit.
Diadochi makes his way to the front "Hello there, My name is Diadochi. I'm sorry I don't think I got your name. I don't suppose this Shale fellow had a human face, lion body, scorpion tail" Diadochi puts his hand up indicating size "about yay tall. if not I hear they are a creature of pure magic and has supernatural mental manipulation, and I'd like your input on how we can ki... I'd like your opinion on the matter. Also we can argue all day on the possession and ownership law (and I'd eventually win because three of my aunts are lawyers) but it seems to me using a runestone to protect a whole village seems like a much better use then opening up a temple and possibly unleashing an ancient evil trapped with in out onto the world. Actually now that I say it out-loud that sounds terrible on a suicidal level, you wouldn't happen to know what they want from opening the temple, do you? Yaalin begins to turn from the hanging creature, before a sudden stop an internal struggle obvious before, "Thank you" in a slightly more normal voice. Before leaving the small chamber. She will proceed to the nearest exit and check down it not far. Perception6
The creatures looks in Diadochi's general direction. The closer Diadochi gets, the easier to tell just how blind it is. Pupils nearly invisible underneath the clouds. "Diashdoshi is a weird name. But. A good name. Keep your name. I lost mine. Was a Elder. Now... not." it sighs. It listens, but clearly doesn't see the hand gestures. "No. Shale is a goblin. What you are describing is its pet. Or mount. What carried us over the mountain folk. One by one to this secluded spot. Then we dug tunnels. Used to be some kobads who helped. They starved. Others were eaten." again the creature swings with a bit.
"Shale thinks the silver apple is in the temple. Along with the..." it struggles to find the right word. The says a word in goblin that's closest translation is Revenant. "But witches, and warlocks, and wizards, and druids. All the same. magic magic magic," her head bobs along as she says the words magic over and over."
As Diadochi gets closer, Yaalin says her part.
"Yoush very welcome!" it says happily after hearing a thank you. Its blind gaze still looking at Diadochi. "I can come down now. But need someone to hold me up. My bones are old." A few more headbob nods. But as you look around, papers are scattered all across this desk, along with a thick book that looks old and worn. A metal clasp keeping it closed.. Books line the shelves. A holy symbol of the Faith dangles off one of the shelves. Three trunks are easily visible in the corners of the room.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the symbols of the faith Sim points them out to Yaalin. Then moves over to inspect the chests and their contents. investigation9 all the while continuing to talk to Elder. “What were you an elder of before this? You said that the Gems are with Shale because he was the first owner and made the key?”
Sim, you duck to the side as the flash strikes you. Burning one side, but far better than it could have been. (11 damage)
With the chest open, you notice there’s some kind of helmet sitting there: T-Cross opening in the front. Front decor is made of copper, or some kind of brass. The rest is leather straps with iron sections. Inside, a fine detail of small connections that leave the impression of a brain. Despite it seeming rather old in design and technology, there isn’t a dent or a scratch on it. It may not add much to armor, but it’s clearly got some kind of unknown use.
Lafetha, you see Yaalin exit the room that she, Sim, and Diadochi were in, and begin to head towards the exit.
