Arno: You manage to grab a rather sharp shard of the broken clay bowl and run out of the pen. (You now have a makeshift dagger. To the south, the drow and their quaggoth slaves are fighting a score of demons that showed up. A cloud of fog is obscuring the priestesses chambers. The drow don't seem to be paying much attention to you in the midst of the chaos.
There are 4 giant insectoids
And they seem to be chasing a pair of other winged demons
Delrana: Guldur is on the ground, breathing through cracked and broken ribs, trying to move and not able to do much. He does have a shortsword on the ground next to him you can grab. And since he is prone and already barely moving you manage to finish him off driving the sword through his chest.
"Nice." Turvy mumbles, following behind, and it's probably the first time you've heard him speak since you've been here.

Arno heads over to the elven woman and the little kid." So, It's nice to meet you, Names Arno. Say its a nice day for escape care if I tag along?"
The Rogue says trying to be charming. He looks through the chaos to try and seize any opportunity he has to maybe secure something better than this shard.
Delrana feels notably happier now she has a familiar weapon in hand. Nodding to Turvy, "Best sort of Drow right there." Turning to Arno, Delrana acknowledges his offer, "Sounds like a plan. Not sure if there is anything else on this one, but let's make the most of this riot. That turtle has magic, he might be useful too. Then we try to catch up to Topsy. Anyone in our path we either dodge or take down if it comes to it."
Uncomfortable with having to work with these people, Delrana realises that she needs their assistance to escape and that keeping each other alive is in everyone's best interests for the time being... Except for that drow slave. He can feed the spiders for all she cares. Wary of the risk of betrayal, she keeps the sword ready and tries to avoid letting anyone be directly behind her.
((OOC - Assuming that is this round over, could you describe what the state of the quaggoth by the pen gate is, and whether there is anything else that Del or Arno would see as useful on Guldur's remains? Also, if Sarith is still in the pens, Del will NOT help him directly.))
The quaggoth isn't looking like it's terribly hurt, but it does look a little sick, like maybe it might be about to throw up. Outside most of the prison camp is left empty as the Drow gather at the Southern post, to fend off the demons slowly becoming aware of the drow firing at them.
Sarith doesn't need Delrana's help to get out of this one. He's going to move forward with a sudden determination he's seemed to lack during his entire captivity. He flicks a piece of metal between his fingers, aiming it at the quaggoth's neck as he passes. (Attack: 8 Damage: 4 Con save: 18 )
"Spider's silk, that's awful"he says as he sees the flock of demons in the air. He quickly weighs his options. If he stays with the drow he's dead. His best options are to escape with this ragtag group, and their best bet is armed. "The guard tower armory is our best bet for weapons."He calls to the others over the screeches of the demons, pointing at the guard tower across the way.
(I think at this point we'll drop out of initiative order. (Unless you want to take out that quaggoth the long way, but it's been poisoned. It'll slowly chase after you taking swipes at disadvantage, but if y'all swarmed it, it wouldn't last long, and Ront. Buppido, JImjar, and probably Derendil would work to take it out.)

Seeing nothing more of use on the guard, Del gives his dead body a kick for good measure, then checking Turvy and Arno are with her, she makes a dash to run past the quaggoth, intent on dodging any swipes that he may try to make as she passes, making towards the cluster of slaves beyond the pen.
The quaggoth tries to growl menacingly as you start towards it, but it ends up stopping partway through and swallowing heavily. It does try to make a half-hearted swipe as you go by. Attack: Attack: 12 Damage: 7
The attack is only made against Delrana as she passes, and then the quaggoth leans over and chucks to the side.

With everyone out of the pens, and the drow seemingly having more important things to do, Delrana turns to Arno and Turvy, "Turvy, go find Topsy, meet us in the guard tower. Spread the word to find keys for the manacles. Arno, shall we make haste to that guard tower whilst we have cover," Delrana indicates the fog around them, "and see whether we can find some keys there?" Delrana will start making her way over there. Trying to stay as inconspicuous as possible amongst the huddle of slaves in the fog...
Stealth: 20 Perception: 25 (for navigating through the fog as smoothly as possible, and not bumping into people)
You guys are actually clear of the fog! It's at the next stalactite over at the priestess quarters, and the guard tower in front of you is clear. You make your way across the rope bridge connecting the stalactite to the ledge the rest of the camp resides on. Turvy hooks back up with his sister and holding hands they follow the two of you as Turvy whispers quietly to Topsy about how cool everyone was.
Many of the others start to follow before Jimjar eyes the group. "Maybe we oughta split up some?" he says.
"We are pretty conspicuous as a big group even if the rotten drow are distracted." Buppido agrees, and you all see one of the insectoid creatures pierce a drow elite guard with it's proboscis. The drow falls to the ground, a little paler than it was before.
Derendil shudders. "Goodness gracious. The sooner we can leave this wretched place the better."
"Alright."Eldeth says. "How should we split up if that's what we want to do? We're still shackled."
By now, most of you have reached the bottom of the guard tower. It's a simple room with wooden chairs and a table, and hooks for hanging equipment. Currently hanging on one of the hooks is a nicely made piwafwi with an intricate design on the back side of it.
(Gorp, Juniper, are you joining everyone?)

Delrana heads straight over to the Piwafwi cloak, taking the initiative before Sarith can stake a claim to the drow clothing. She obviously checks to make sure there are no keys in or near to it on the pegs, then attempts to casually drape it over her shoulders and fasten it, as if it is of no matter. "I prefer smaller groups, but we may need a common purpose to yet escape."
Delrana puts the short sword down on the table, keeping it within easy reach, as she looks at the manacles. "My understanding is there are usually 3 ways to escape cuffs... Break them, unlock them, or slip them. If we can find keys, great, otherwise something to try and pick them. I assume we can't slip them, or at least that everyone has already tried that and failed. Then there is the last option..." Del finishes looking at the larger members of the rag tag bunch.
Investigation: 6 (for the cloak / manacles in case of flaws, quality of lock etc)
The piwafwi is fairly nicely made with the symbol of a drow house on the back, and the clasp fashioned into the same symbol. There don't appear to be any pockets in it. The manacles are sturdy, and the lock hefty, but with the right tools could be broken or picked. There is also a ladder toward the back of the room leading up to another chamber.
Buppido follows you inside, and Ront pushes his way past everyone. If there's loot to be had, he's there to have it. The twins aren't far behind. Everyone else stays out on the ledge or the rope bridge keeping an eye on the drow and the battle happening.

Buppido follows you up Delrana. You come up through the bottom into.... Cha-ching! An equipment room!
There are weapons, there is armor, there is ammunition, as well as other assorted items. None of it appears to be your weapons confiscated from you when you were captured, it all appears to be drow equipment.
Buppido immediately goes for a crossbow and some bolts. "Now that's what I'm talking about." He'll also grab a dagger and flip it in his hands a couple of times.
